Jaybelle Grange Lodges Reviews

"The Lodge was lovely- large and lots of space for four adults. It was very clean and well equipped apart from oven gloves. The biggest disappointment was the size of the hot tub- only accommodated three people and lacked functions(only 1 jet). Alongside this we had 2 days of intermittent internet access which was disappointing."
Rachel - Jul 2020
"holiday was lovely, the pub by the site was very poor and dirty, sunday dinner was cold and tried to get a drink there one night at 8pm got told they was not serving any more !! not a good pub, the site was lovely and well kept but would be better if had a shop and a nice pub within walking distance."
Lynn - Jul 2020
"They could do with blackout or very dark curtains"
Theresa - Mar 2020
"We took a 4 night break which was about right for this time of year. Was very relaxing."
John - Mar 2020
"This is the 2nd year we have visited and was everything we expected as usual. Alex the maintenance guy was on hand even on his day off, he was prompt, polite and nothing was too much for him. We will be back next year. Thank you!!"
Sian - Mar 2020
"One of the best lodges we've stayed in, with all the facilities we needed and a spacious lounge /diner."
Richard - Mar 2020
"Good time had by all."
Brett - Mar 2020
"We stayed in Beech Lodge for a weekend away with family. The accommodation was clean and warm with comfortable beds. We ate at the local pub which was lovely and the hot tub was well maintained. Couple of negatives, we were disappointed at how close the lodge was to the busy main road and for such a lovely modern lodge it was odd that there was no dishwasher."
Louise - Feb 2020
"Great holiday would recommend clean and modern hot tub clean and hot."
Michael - Feb 2020
"I booked 2 weeks before arrival and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and size of our lodge. The man who welcomed us was friendly and informative and always willing over the weekend to come answer any questions we had. Only downside was the weather which couldn't be helped! Storm Dennis didn't stop us enjoying the hot tub. We would love to return."
Carrie - Feb 2020

"Stayed in the Tamarack Lodge with my husband, elderly mother and 10 year old nephew.

Beautiful, modern, clean and well equipped self-catering lodge. Short drive to a Tesco Extra, Morrisons, town centre with many restaurants and the beach.

Loved the utility room in our lodge which contained a dryer, washing machine and washing line. Managed to do a load of washing before we went home. So handy.

Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back."

Christine - Sep 2019
"Great base to visit south coast . Great lodges. Comfortable +++and clean+++Friendly on site staff. Well maintained site.had a brilliant relaxing and active 2 week holiday . Never a dull moment ."
Helen - Aug 2019
"The lodge was immaculate and well stocked with amenities such as washing machine, tumble drier , dish washer and double oven/hob/microwave. The lodges were quite close together but we did not hear any noise from our neighbours and the site was well maintained and peaceful. The hot tub was a big hit with the family. Overall, it was a good base for a week's holiday if you are planning to get out and about but there are no facilities if you wanted to stay on site such as a swimming pool or children's play area."
Susan - Aug 2019
"Oak Lodge was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Almost everything was provided, little touches like oven gloves, washing up liquid and tea towels (missing at so many other parks) were nice.

The hot tub was very good although not quite big enough for 4 people; that was fine though as it was mainly our two daughters that used it. Nice verandah with furniture.

Kitchen was well equipped (freezer was a good size which you don't always get) and the washing machine in the utility area by the entrance door came in handy too. Lounge area had a very large table and chairs and also a recliner sofa which was good, although we felt that the TV was maybe a little too high up on the wall.

Bedrooms were comfortable and a good size, particularly the twin room which was much larger than we are used to getting in similar accommodation.

Only slight issue was the ensuite to the main bedroom; the shower had no shelf or basket so you had to try and bend down in a very small cubicle to get shower gels / shampoos from a ledge set at floor level. Also there was no shelf or cabinet by the sink which you would normally expect to see. The other bathroom had a bath but no overhead shower, so everyone had to use the ensuite shower. That's fine if you are a family though and it didn't affect us. Towels were provided.

The lodge backed on to the B road that runs along the edge of the park and occasionally there would be a car or motorbike come screaming past but most of the time it was quiet. However, we were made aware of the potential for road noise when we booked and it really wasn't an issue for us.

I would definitely consider returning here and staying in the Oak Lodge, it was very good quality."
Steve - Aug 2019
"We've had a fantastic week at Jaybelle Grange Lodges.
The lodge (Beech Lodge) was very big, beautifully furnished and also very clean.
Just as the park as a whole, which was also very beautiful and clean.
We would surely recommend Jaybelle Grange Lodges."
Didier - Jun 2019
