Ruda Reviews

"A lot of the caravan was broken and/or dirty."
Owen - Aug 2025
"A short break in a great location. A well managed site and a comfortable and clean caravan."
Edward - May 2025
"Lovely park with great facilities, caravan could have been maintained better but was very nice"
Adrian - May 2025
"Lovely caravan, easy reach of beach"
Pauline - Apr 2025
"Our Ruda review: Overall, we found the furniture decent, though the settee arm was a bit wobbly and the dining table felt a tad loose. The fridge had a few minor flaws and the main bathroom could do with a quick update. The beds were memory foam, which took some getting used to, but comfort improved. Not bad at all!"
Emma Clarke - Mar 2025
"Great spot, will visit again"
Samir - Mar 2025
"Nice location and clean pool"
Navid - Mar 2025
"We loved the cosy log burner and relaxing hot tub. The hosts were lovely and the peaceful setting made our mini break special. Hope to come back soon!"
Laura - Feb 2025
"We had an absolutely lovely stay here! The location is stunning and really private, perfect for relaxing. The owners are super friendly and always ready to help without intruding on your privacy. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day out cycling. Just a heads up, the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much after a while, but if you're sensitive to noise, bear that in mind. Overall, a fantastic place to unwind!"
Amelia Carter - Feb 2025
"Pet free caravans should be as advertised! People can be allergic to dog hair hence they look for a pet free caravan! Ours had loads of dog hair when we swept the floor (and carpet) on our first morning!"
Amii M. - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay at Goddards Mead. The cottage was lovely and well-equipped. Well definitely return soon!"
Michael - Sep 2024
"Great place, had all we needed for a chilled holiday. Cheers!"
Sam - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the place had everything needed."
Anna - Aug 2024
"Very old caravan, needs upgrading, everything dirty and falling apart, only good thing was the location"
Lucy - Aug 2024
"Really liked the clean, modern feel of the caravan. Beds were super comfy!"
Olivia Carter - Aug 2024
"We had a fantastic time at Croyde Bay, honestly one of the nicest beaches we've visited. Our stay at no.29 was super convenient, just a short stroll to the beach which was perfect. A heads up though, on arrival, the swimming slots were fully booked, so definitely try to pre-book if you want to take a dip. The WiFi was pretty rubbish and you had to pay extra for decent connection, which was a bit annoying. Don't forget to bring a bath mat for the shower because water tends to splash everywhere. Towels are a must as well. The place couldve been a bit cleaner, quite dusty and we even found a couple of old clothes! The onsite shop and amusements were really handy. All in all, we'd definitely return!"
Hannah - Jul 2024
"Really pleased with the upgrade, made our trip special."
Matt - Jul 2024
"We loved the cottage! Its perfectly tucked away for peace but still near local shops. The hot tub is a real highlight and the underfloor heating kept everything super cosy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel right at home. Can't wait to return for longer soon!"
Sammy - Jul 2024
"The cottage was really lovely, set in such a peaceful spot-perfect for unwinding. The hot tub was a real treat after a day out. Everything inside was spotless and well-equipped. Plenty of walks nearby and the village was charming. We had a fantastic break! Couldnt recommend enough."
Jane - Jul 2024
"Noticed a few hairs in the kitchen when we arrived, but everything else was fine."
Harper - May 2024
"We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was cosy, loved the log burner and the hot tub was a real treat. Hope to come back soon!"
Isla - Apr 2024
"Good overall experience"
James - Apr 2024
"We really appreciated the space with three bedrooms and proper heating. The caravan was spotless and had all the essentials. It was a bit worn, but considering the low price, it exceeded our expectations. Overall, quite happy with our stay!"
Emily Carter - Apr 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the caravan was perfect, especially the huge fridge! Would definitely book again."
Rachel M. - Apr 2024
"Its a lovely caravan, but we found ourselves needing more bowls and trays in the kitchen. Slightly understocked, really! Definitely bring some extras if youre planning a longer stay. Overall, though, its a comfy and well-kept place for a getaway."
Sarah J. - Feb 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, peaceful surroundings and the garden was perfect for our dog to run freely."
Grace - Feb 2024
"Really enjoyed our visit, great value for money and the entertainment was genuinely top-notch! Definitely recommend."
Rajesh Patel - Jan 2024
"The caravan was spotless, which was great. We had to keep rinsing the mud off to avoid staining the carpets because of a leaking water pipe nearby. Reported it though!"
John - Jan 2024
"Loved our stay at Goddards Mead! The cottage was perfect in every aspect. We definitely plan to return soon."
Jason - Dec 2023
"Didn’t use the on-site restaurant. Did have Fish and chips from the Fish and chippery, which were tasty and reasonably priced."
Peter - Jul 2022
"The caravan was clean and the reception staff were helpful however the club area where the ordering system has to be done via an app is frustrating at best and each time I used it the order had something missing when it arrived, poor or just trying to rip of the customer?"
Dennis - Jul 2022
"Great location, lovely clean caravan and contactless check in/out. We really liked the Italian on site. Staff were mostly great with a few exceptions (the shop). Overall we had brilliant week."
David - Jul 2022
"Great location right by the beautiful beach and bay"
Anthea - Jul 2022
"Stayed on a 3 night break. Accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Site was clean and tidy."
Wendy - Jul 2022
