Roa Island House - Details

This is definitely a 'must-see' property that's completely different to other lodges on our site! A historic island getaway awaits guests at Roa Island House in Cumbria.

This massive property sits on the southernmost tip of the Furness Peninsula with sea views from every angle.

The house sleeps up to 16 guests in seven bedrooms (with six bathrooms) and has accessible ground-floor facilities too.

The hot tub on the lawn lets you soak in style while ships sail by.

A perfect booking for large groups and family holidays.

The location itself is truly special.

Reached via a tarmac causeway, you're surrounded by water with Morecambe Bay stretching out before you.

The wraparound conservatory seats 22 people with panoramic sea views in all directions.

Kids will love the table football in the entrance hall and adults can enjoy the wood-fired sauna that fits six people.

Dogs are welcome too.

Inside you'll find what can only be described as palatial rooms with high ceilings and fascinating original features.

The huge kitchen has not one but two ovens and two fridges.

Six bedrooms have TVs and most include en-suites.

The unique observation tower on the second floor is a real highlight and offers 270-degree views! If you can bring yourself to leave, there's lots to see and do nearby.

Visit Piel Castle (accessible by ferry), Ulverston (8 miles), or shop in Barrow-in-Furness (5 miles).

The Lake District's southern fells are within easy reach for hiking adventures.

This one-of-a-kind staycation combines tons of space with some stunning views and a really unique setting.

Where else can you watch the sunset from your own tower before hitting the hot tub? Check your dates today.
