Llanrhidian Holiday Park Reviews

"Really appreciated how everything in the caravan felt just right and welcoming. Cheers!"
Alex - Mar 2025
"Great caravan, exceeded all our expectations!"
Alex - Mar 2025
"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in the dog-friendly platinum caravan, which was spotlessly clean. The site itself was lovely, though the lighting in the cut-de-sacs was really quite poor at night, even with our brightest torches, so it was a bit tricky to see. One issue we noticed was the amount of dog poo around, despite a few poo bins being available, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the onsite shop was quite expensive-basic items nearly doubled in price compared to outside shops. That said, we had a fantastic holiday and are already planning to come back later this year!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"Had a fantastic weekend in the Platinum Van, really loved it!"
Jamie - Mar 2025
"Our Llanrhidian Holiday Park review: It's pretty easy to accidentally lock the keys inside the van, so just watch out. Ive done it myself once, but generally, it's a handy feature. Definitely something to be mindful of, though."
Mark - Feb 2025
"The caravan was cosy and well-kept, with little touches like swan towels that made it special."
Emma Clarke - Feb 2025
"Really impressed with the vans layout and overall cleanliness. Nice touch!"
Jamie - Feb 2025
"The caravan was really lovely and surprisingly good value. We brought our dog along, so didn't expect much, but it exceeded expectations!"
Emma Carter - Feb 2025
"We had a lovely week here, mostly just to unwind, so the limited activities didnt bother us. The caravan was generally clean and comfortable, though it was a bit odd that the bathroom was missing blinds-looks like theyd been ripped off before. The oven was a bit frustrating since it only had one shelf, so we couldnt cook much at once. Also, a vacuum wouldve been handy; we had to make do with a broom and dustpan. But all in all, the hot tub was definitely a highlight and made our stay enjoyable!"
Emma Carter - Jan 2025
"Relaxing experience, friendly staff, would definitely come back!"
Emma Carter - Dec 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the caravan was spotless and cosy. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Wish wed stayed longer!"
James - Dec 2024
"Really enjoyed it, would definitely stay again."
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"The caravan was really tidy and welcoming and we loved the small starter pack in the kitchen. Everything was in great condition, very impressed!"
Sarah - Nov 2024
"Honestly, we were so impressed with this lodge! Its massive and every room has a TV, plus the power showers are really good. The hot tub was a lovely touch. We got it at a cracking price too, which was a bonus."
Alex - Oct 2024
"We had a really good stay overall. The caravan was surprisingly spacious and offered great value for money, perfect for our family. The beds were super comfy and the living area felt warm and inviting, making it easy to unwind. Everything inside was modern and in good condition, which added a touch of luxury. It was clean, stylish and had all the essentials. Definitely recommend it for families looking for a relaxing break. Wed come back for sure!"
Oliver - Sep 2024
"The place was spotless and really roomy, which we appreciated. The dogs got a sweet little welcome back, made us feel at home. Overall, a good experience, will definitely return. Just wish the check-in process was a bit quicker! Really nice staff and clean facilities, thumbs up."
Oliver - Aug 2024
"Pretty much loved it, just a greasy pan in the cupboard to mention."
Emma - Aug 2024
"The van's interior was spacious and thoughtfully designed, which we really appreciated. We did have a tiny issue with the wet room; the drain struggled a bit with water during showers. We mentioned it to staff and they said they'd look into it after we left. Not bad at all!"
Emma - Aug 2024
"We had a really nice stay! The park's facilities kept the kids entertained and the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our trip."
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"We stayed in this lovely, modern caravan and really liked the setup. The decking and hot tub were great perks, perfect for relaxing evenings. The driveway was a bit tight for two cars, so we had to be careful, but it was manageable. The beds werent the most comfortable, sadly and one didnt even have a bottom sheet, which was a bit odd. The linen and towels were spotless and we appreciated the small welcome pack with essentials like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and tea towels. It was reassuring to see the hot tub being cleaned and maintained properly before we left. The kitchen had a good range of pots and utensils and the mini toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch!"
Alex - Aug 2024
"We had a lovely stay at Llanrhidian Holiday Park! The staff were super friendly and the caravan was clean and surprisingly roomy, even though we didnt realise it was adapted when booking. We didnt use the facilities, but everything we needed was there. It was a really enjoyable trip and wed definitely come back again!"
Emma Carter - Jun 2024
"Beds arent comfy, but everything else is spot on, honestly."
Emma Roberts - May 2024
"We had an amazing, super relaxing week for my husband's birthday. The hot tub was fantastic and the caravan was spotless. Staff were lovely too!"
Emma - May 2024
"Great experience, would definitely recommend to others."
Emma - May 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, it was cosy and well-equipped."
Emily Carter - Apr 2024
"We had such a lovely weekend here! The place really ticked all our boxes and were already planning to come back. Our dogs had a blast, especially with the underfloor heating-so cosy! The garden was great for them to run around. Luna was wagging her tail so much, she ended up with a strained one, but shes fine. Happy pups, happy us!"
James - May 2025
"We stayed at this lovely cottage and loved how peaceful it was-perfect for us. The hot tub was a real treat and the owners were so friendly but not overbearing!"
James - May 2025
"We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was spotlessly clean and really well equipped, making it feel like a home from home. The farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, were a hit with the dogs and us. The host was super friendly and kept in touch throughout. A brilliant getaway, definitely coming back soon!"
Emily - May 2025
"We had a lovely stay! The place was spotless, cosy and had everything we needed. Hot tub was fantastic!"
Emma - May 2025
"We had a really lovely stay at this cottage on a working farm, yet it feels surprisingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are such lovely people, making us feel welcome from the start. The place itself is surprisingly spacious and well-equipped, especially the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was super comfy, which is always a bonus. The garden is perfect for dogs - totally secluded and nicely furnished. We enjoyed exploring the nearby walks and tried a few local restaurants in Thaxted, like The Star and The Maypole. Definitely recommend it!"
