Golden Sands Holiday Park Rhyl Reviews

"Great weather"
Lorraine - May 2025
"Even though the place isnt quite right, we still enjoyed ourselves. Sure, there are always little issues, but next time well make sure the beach is open. Overall, a decent experience, nothing too bad really."
Mark - Mar 2025
"Overall, we found it quite decent for what we paid. The kids had a blast with the playground, pool and arcades. The beach access was a bit tricky because of the sea defences, but thats not the sites fault. Great for day trips in North Wales!"
Emma Carter - Feb 2025
"We had such a lovely stay in this cosy cottage. The location is stunning and feels really private, yet the owners are super friendly and always there if you need anything. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling - absolute bliss! Just a heads up, the place is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. Its loud at first, but we quickly got used to it and it didnt bother us in the end. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing break!"
Rajiv Patel - Jan 2025
"Our Golden Sands Holiday Park Rhyl review: We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was charming, super peaceful and the hot tub and log burner made it even better. Hope to come back soon!"
Julia - Dec 2024
"We loved the cosy feel of the cottage, especially the log burner. The hosts were really welcoming and made us feel at home. Hope to come back soon!"
Olivia - Dec 2024
"Overall, the caravan was decent. A few essentials were missing, but staff sorted them out quickly. The condensation in the bathroom was quite bad though."
Oliver Carter - Nov 2024
"We loved the cosy feel of the cottage, especially the log burner and hot tub. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Cant wait to come back!"
Lucy - Oct 2024
"The cottage was absolutely charming, with a cosy log burner and hot tub that made our stay really special. Hosts were lovely and friendly. Hope to come back soon!"
Holly - Sep 2024
"We had a lovely stay in this caravan! Its really roomy, with decent-sized rooms and a fridge thats quite generous. The wall-mounted TV is a nice touch, especially with little ones around. The corner sofa and table are comfy, though we did find the kettle a bit noisy and slow to boil and the toaster was a tad small for our bread. Still, overall, a great place!"
Jamie - Aug 2024
"We've stayed in the superior caravan twice and it's been a bit of a mixed bag. The first time, it matched the picture online perfectly, but the second time, we got a different one that wasnt quite as nice. Still, overall, decent experience."
Sarah - Aug 2024
"Really enjoyed the vibe here and walking with the dogs through all those open fields was brill!"
Jessie - Aug 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely return."
James - Jul 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! Staff were friendly, facilities clean and everything was ready when we arrived."
Sam - Jul 2024
"Beautiful place, super peaceful and perfect for pets since the gardens fully enclosed. We loved it!"
Harriet - Jul 2024
"We had a fantastic stay at this lovely spot! The location is so peaceful and private, yet the owners are really friendly and there if you need anything. The hot tub was a real treat after cycling all day. One thing to note is that it's directly under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt spoil our trip at all. Overall, a great place to unwind!"
Riley Morgan - Jun 2024
"Really comfy place, had everything we needed, no complaints at all."
Alex - May 2024
"We had a lovely stay at the caravan! It was super clean and felt really cosy. The controls for heating and the shower were straightforward, which was great. All the beds were already made when we arrived - such a relief. Even though there were only four of us, there was loads of space and enough room in the living area for two more without feeling cramped. The Wi-Fi was a nice bonus too, especially when we wanted to relax. Would definitely come back!"
Jessica - Apr 2024
"Really enjoyed the calm vibe here and the Jacuzzi was fantastic!"
Andy - Apr 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! The owners were lovely and the jacuzzi was a real treat."
Laura - Feb 2024
"We needed a relaxing dog walk getaway and found it here. The place was lovely, with great local pubs and plenty of open fields nearby. The dog loved it so much, he wouldnt get in the car to leave!"
Jake - Jan 2024
"We had a really lovely stay at this cosy spot, tucked away in a peaceful, private area. The owners were super friendly and always there if we needed anything, but the place still felt like our own retreat. The hot tub was a great way to unwind after cycling all day. One thing to keep in mind, the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much after a while, but if you're sensitive to noise, its worth noting. Overall, a great find!"
Raj - Jan 2024
"We had a really lovely stay here! The location is so private and peaceful, perfect if you want a quiet getaway. The owners are super friendly and made us feel welcome without being intrusive. The hot tub was a great bonus after a long day out cycling. Only thing to keep in mind is that the cottage is right under the flight path for Stansted, so there's quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if you're sensitive, its worth knowing. Overall, a great spot for relaxing!"
Rachael - Oct 2023
"The place was really lovely, super peaceful and perfect for our dogs because the garden's fully enclosed."
Harper - Jul 2023
"Great atmosphere, friendly staff too"
Claire - Aug 2020
"Really enjoyed the experience"
Amira - Aug 2020
"We had an awesome week and can't wait to come back next year for more!"
Emily - Aug 2020
"Looking forward to the next visit"
Ben - Sep 2019
"We really enjoyed our stay here, its a lovely spot. The facilities are well-maintained and quite clean, which we appreciated. The location is peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, making our experience even better. Theres a nice vibe about the place, not too crowded but still lively enough. Definitely a place wed come back to. Overall, a really good camp site to stay on!"
Martin - Sep 2019
"The caravan was lovely and the location was really peaceful. Plenty of room between units and a solid parking spot. Weather was surprisingly great too!"
