Gurnard Pines Holiday Village Reviews

"Nice clean spacious and homely"
Hardeep - Apr 2015
"More kitchen utensils. bigger cups, bowls etc."
Katy - Oct 2014
"Great holiday can't wait to go again..thanks h"
Clare - Oct 2014
"The villa was lovely it was well set out with all we needed, I took my own cheese grater, corkscrew and paring knife just in case (good job)! The only problem I found was the on suite shower was grubby mostly a thick build up of mould in the shower head and around the tiles and screen, which meant no way were we going to use it ! It needs to be thoroughly scrubbed with bleach or replaced, we were ok tho as we used the other shower."
Deborah - Oct 2014
"No cable wifi.... the only reason I downgraded the rating"
Sarah - Sep 2014
"Lovely chalet, couldn't have asked for much more, especially for the money. I only knocked a point off because the TV wasn't great but not a big deal!"
Angela - Sep 2014
"A good choice of accomodation. As it was not in the school holidays it made it very good value for money and G.Pines was a good place to use as a base to go looking around the island."
Tim - Sep 2014
"The tv remotes although usable, were missing parts, and the mirror light wasn't working. This makes me wonder if these things are checked before lettings? However this didn't detract from an excellent accommodation."
Rodney - Sep 2014
"Dated, needs lick of paint and tiles regrouting as some black areas. As clean as it could have been. Oh fridge door needs to have shelves, struggled to store milk and bottles, etc as small fridge"
Emma - Sep 2014
"Lovely space for family but could have been a bit cleaner"
Rachel - Aug 2014
"the bed in main bedroom was broken outside railing on decking was broken .the villa had everything we needed it was a shame they don't have washing machine"
Robert - Aug 2014
"Very large and spacious, had a couple of maintenance issues that were dealt with really quickly."
Wendy - Aug 2014
"lovely little place. impressed with what was provided really didnt have to worry about buying any extras jus to feel like home."
Daniel - Aug 2014
"Needs upgrading but great value for the money we paid and so spacious"
Lynette - Aug 2014
"Been going to Gurnard Pines for over 25 years.
Was a very popular place back then and always fully booked.
Still is very nice but a few small things let it down.
The maintenance on the site really needs some fine tuning.
We had a light that didn't work and it wasn't the bulb.
The TV remotes had either flat batteries or no batteries.
The balcony around the Villa needed a good sanding down and a paint up.
The windows and paintwork around the windows was filthy externally and were covered in Cobwebs.
A quick wipe over was all that was needed to fix this.
There was no evening entertainment and the bar closed very early but this didn't bother us as we have 2 small children.
On the plus side the Villas are really nice and comfortable and everything was lovely inside.
Really enjoyed my stay there for Cowes Week 2014 though very nice and peaceful.
Overall very impressed and a very good price considering it was Cowes Week.
Would I stay there again?
Well yes have already booked 2 weeks for 2015.
Would recommend this place and both my Daughters cant wait to get back there again next year.
Even the Mrs loved it and felt totally at home there.
Come on Gurnard Pines sort out the silly problems which are very easily fixed.
Very nice place and staff very pleasant, already looking forward to next years stay."
Terry - Aug 2014
"It was nice clean tidy place, single bed was a bit lumpy otherwise a nice placeHH"
Marian - Jul 2014
"We were pleased this park offered an on-site cafe but on our first evening we were dismayed to be told that our order of burger & chips would take one hour as they were very short of staff. Needless to say we went elsewhere each evening."
Linda - Jul 2014
"The only issues we had was some of the fixtures in the villa needed a little attention/maintenance., to attain the highest level possible. Good value for money package. Freezer needed de-icing (difficult to open drawers-pack of ice-cream left in one) Burn marks in carpet. Reported fused lights at end of holiday as they did not interfere with holiday. Staff took note of freezer and light.
"
Angela - Jul 2014
"Nice spacious lodge, it was clean on arrival and exceeded our expectations."
Martin - Jun 2014
