Florence Springs Lakeside Lodges Reviews

"Musty smelling aged hand and bath towels really let this accommodation down. All other aspects of the lodge offering was lovely as the lodge is only built last year and so everything was in good condition."

Martin - Mar 2025
"This place is seriously well kitted out and super cosy, perfect for a rainy December day. The bath was just what we needed and the shower was big enough to feel like a spa! The house is right under a flight path, but honestly, it didnt bother us at all. Perfect spot if your dogs hate fireworks, peaceful and remote. Thanks a bunch!"
Isla - Mar 2025
"The lodge had everything we could need for our stay, you could very well liv in there every day. A welcome pack of essentials was great, tea, coffee, milk and other items, plus a goodie bag for the dog was very much appreciated. Hot tub was checked every day, and the park was well maintained."
Kate - Mar 2025
"We stayed at this lodge and really liked it. The decor is stylish and the appliances are top quality. The welcome pack and Heatherton credits were a lovely touch. Definitely a place we'd return to!"

Alex & Jamie - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely return."
Hannah - Oct 2024
"We had a fantastic stay at this charming spot nestled in a peaceful, secluded area. The hosts were super friendly and always available if we needed anything, yet maintained that lovely sense of privacy. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling - absolute bliss! The only thing to keep in mind is that the cottage is directly under Stansteds flight path, so aircraft noise was quite noticeable at first. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but it didnt ruin our trip at all. Wed definitely go back!"
Rajiv - Oct 2024
"We stayed in this spacious lodge and absolutely loved it! The layout is great and there's plenty of space for our dog too. The views over the lake and golf course are stunning and the location is just perfect. Our dog settled in immediately, which was a bonus!"
Claire - Oct 2024
"We had a fantastic weekend at this lodge! The cosy atmosphere was perfect given the weather. Everything was just right for a relaxing couples escape. Highly recommended, really!"
Holly - Oct 2024
"Great spot, would definitely return"
Laura - Jul 2024
"We found the site really peaceful, with only our great grandchildren around, so the hot tub was a hit with them. Definitely would suggest it for families or older folks. We genuinely enjoyed the whole stay!"
Linda - Jun 2024
"The cottage was just what we needed, peaceful and in a perfect spot away from busy areas. The hot tub was fantastic and the owners were so helpful without being intrusive. They really have it just right!"
George - May 2024
"Really enjoyed the stay"
James - May 2024
"We had a lovely stay at this lodge. The place is really spacious and super relaxing, with beautiful decor and everything spotless. The hot tub was fantastic and the decking area offers a stunning view of the lake. Even though it's close to the road, it didnt bother us at all. The resort was well-kept and walking to Heatherton was a real treat!"
Harriet Collins - Apr 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was perfect for the six of us. Always lovely!"
Rachel - Apr 2024
"Perfect for a peaceful escape with friends."
Olivia - Apr 2024
"We had a lovely stay. The lodge was spotless and the beds were super comfy. The welcome pack with essentials was a nice touch. Only thing wed suggest is maybe an extra roll of toilet paper for the larger lodges. Apart from that, no complaints at all!"
Sarah - Mar 2024
"We stayed at Florence Springs again, this time in a bigger lodge, which was great for our group of 7. The space was decent, but the bathrooms lacked storage, which was a bit annoying. With three young kids and Heatherton nearby, it kept everyone busy. Staff were lovely and helpful!"
Samira Evans - Mar 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay! The peaceful atmosphere was perfect for catching up with the kids and the hot tub was definitely the highlight. The minor issue with the oven was sorted out swiftly, so no complaints there. Wed happily come back!"
Jess - Jan 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay"
Sam - Jan 2024
"We had an incredible time at this lovely lodge, so peaceful and relaxing!"
Jessie - Jan 2024
"This lodge was absolutely amazing and I would 100% recommend coming here all the lodges are brand new and are beautiful inside and out we had staff come each day to check the chlorine levels in the hot tubs and over all was an amazing place to be and we will definitely be back soon Sian & Aaron Stayed in honeysuckle lodge 11/7 - 15/7"
Sian - Jul 2022
"Beautiful lodge in stunning area of Pembrokeshire, near to Tenby and Saundersfoot"
Susan - Jul 2022
"Lodge was lovely with superb views, site was peaceful and relaxing."
Lindsay - Jul 2022
"Amazing place very peaceful and tranquil. Lodge was beautiful comfortable everything we could have wished for and more. Can’t wait to go back."
Andrew - Jul 2022
"Lovely lodge and the grounds were well kept. Only a couple of things I would suggest some beer glasses would have been nice and a fan. The lodge did get fairly stuffy and a fan just to circulate the air would have been nice apart from that can’t fault it."
Kenneth - Jul 2022
"Very good. More casseroles dishes and cooking utensils needed and sharper knives."
Carol - Jul 2022
"Nice location. High quality lodge impeccably clean. Everything you could possibly need or want"
Martin - Jul 2022
"Lovely lodges,in a beautiful setting. As the lodges are slightly remote, the site would benefit from having a bar/restaurant on site."
Melissa - Jul 2022
"Love the site and setting and would recommend the lodge"
Patricia - Jul 2022
"Lovely quiet location, plenty to doin area. Conveniently located near adventure parks and short drive to beaches."
Steven - Jul 2022
"We stayed for 4nights with our two young children. It was boiling hot the day we arrived and we’d brought a paddling pool- the staff on site saw this and kindly brought us a hose to fill it quicker. The hot tub (turned down) doubled as a mini pool too which was fantastic. You are so close to so many fantastic attractions and beaches. Our little boy even caught his first fish on the lake. We visited just before school holidays therefore prices were considerably lower. We’ve stayed in a few uk lodges this year and this was definitely the nicest."
Verified Guest - Jul 2022
"Absolutely beautiful would highly recommend easily the best lodge we have stayed in."
Sam - Jul 2022
"My family and I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay here at Lakeside Lodges. Very modern, open-planned living, clean, tidy with all you could need. Plenty of entertainment virtually on-site with amusements and activities at Heathertons. Well maintained parklands. Great hot-tub which was checked and maintained daily and we observed all hot-tubs drained, cleaned and re-filled during check-out. Very reassuring to know that all aspects of the Lodges are looked after and well maintained. The location was perfect - a 5 minute car journey to the coast. Spectacular views and clear blue/green sea. Many different places to eat with a healthy choice to suit all tastes. Tenby Harbour is lovely for a walk around with plenty of photo opportunities. Perfect lodge, perfect location, perfect holiday."
