Folly Farm Holiday Park Reviews

"We had such a lovely weekend, there was so much to enjoy!"
Emma Hughes - Mar 2025
"Really pleased overall, just wish the hood had been cleaner."
Emma - Mar 2025
"We had an absolutely fantastic time staying here! Honestly, we didnt want to leave at all. The lodges are truly luxurious, with such attention to detail - plus, they greeted us with a lovely local goodie bag which was a nice touch. The handsoap and toiletries, all made locally, were just divine! We stayed in the Torwen lodge; it was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfy stay. The hot tub was a real highlight - so relaxing! What we really appreciated was the unlimited entry to Folly Farm, which included our arrival and departure days. We managed to explore so much, from Tenby to Haverfordwest and theres plenty of food options nearby, including takeaways. We ordered a Chinese from Dragon Palace, which was delicious and they deliver right to the site. The staff were fantastic - always at the end of the phone, making sure everything was perfect. Well definitely be coming back soon!"
Emily Carter - Mar 2025
"We stayed at this lodge recently and it was really lovely. The place was spotless and the hot tub was well-kept and relaxing. The sofa wasnt the most comfy after a while, but overall, a great stay with high standards. Definitely recommend!"
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"Our Folly Farm Holiday Park review: We had another fantastic stay at Simba Lodge recently. Its our second visit and honestly, it didnt disappoint. Everything was just as lovely as before-super clean, fresh and well-equipped. We did bring some extra towels because the hot tub was so popular and used quite a lot. The kitchen had everything we needed and the toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch. Beds are incredibly comfy and having the smart TV and good WiFi really made our evenings relaxing. The only tiny gripe is that the shop was closed a couple of times when we wanted to pop in, but we get that its off-season and not always feasible to stay open. Maybe shorter hours could work better? Still, thats a minor point. Overall, wed definitely recommend Simba Lodge and are already looking at next years booking!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was fantastic and our dog was totally spoiled with a welcome pack, bowls, towel and bed. The private garden was great too. Highly recommend!"
Jodie - Mar 2025
"Honestly, its rare to find such top-notch service these days. We left feeling really happy and can't wait to come back. Thanks for making our weekend so special!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"The lodge was absolutely lovely, perfect for a family getaway. We especially enjoyed the warm Welsh treats in the welcome pack. Highly recommend!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"We loved the lodge! Our little dog felt right at home, definitely recommend it."
Emma - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed the delivery, bread and milk were perfect and the food was tasty! Thanks!"
Emma Carter - Feb 2025
"We recently stayed at Simba Lodge with our family and a friend and honestly, it was great. The place itself is lovely-spacious, well-decorated and super comfortable. We loved that the amenities and farm access were all included in the booking, which made things easier. The staff were really friendly and approachable, which added to the experience. Were already thinking about coming back soon and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice getaway!"
Emma Carter - Feb 2025
"Really enjoyed the stay, especially the surprise visit to Folly Farm! Thanks!"
Emma Carter - Feb 2025
"We had a lovely stay at the fairground lodge. Its super clean and very well-equipped, with everything we needed. Plus, they went the extra mile by leaving us a gift bag with some nice treats like butter, bread and tea. Really thoughtful touch, we appreciated it!"
Emma - Feb 2025
"We absolutely adore our trips to Folly Farm, especially staying in their lodges. This was our third time staying - we started with the Carousel Lodge, then moved on to SIMBA and most recently, Kifaru Lodge. Each stay has been fantastic and the kids (aged 5 and 2) really get a kick out of the themed rooms - it keeps them so entertained! We booked Kifaru hoping to be at the front, overlooking the enclosure, but ended up in a back lodge, which was a bit of a letdown since the other lodges blocked the view. Still, the unlimited access to the park makes up for it - honestly, its worth about £100 a day for a family of four, especially in winter. The staff are so friendly and attentive, they really go the extra mile. Were already planning our next trip, cant wait to go back!"
Emma - Feb 2025
"The lodge was spotless and felt brand new. The linen was fresh and those beds were super comfy. Definitely recommend!"
Emma - Feb 2025
"We loved the spacious layout, it was perfect for relaxing. Hot tub was spotless and comfy beds made our stay so enjoyable. Would definitely return!"
Emma Johnson - Jan 2025
"Just back from another brilliant trip to Folly Farm! We stayed in a Kifaru Lodge, which was super cosy and well kitted out. The welcome pack was a lovely touch - everything we needed, from milk and bread to Welsh cakes and hot chocolate. The beds were really comfy, much better than some places we've stayed before. The hot tub was a highlight, checked every day without fail. We loved wandering around the park and seeing all the animals; they looked lively and well cared for. The Vintage Funfair was a blast, even with the dodgy weather - high winds and rain, but still a great time. Only gripe was the info book in the lodge - some of the details were out of date, like restaurant info and ride band prices. Still, we had an ace holiday overall and cant wait to come back!"
Harriet - Jan 2025
"We really enjoyed our weekend at Folly Farm Holiday Park. The lodge was beautifully clean and surprisingly spacious, which made our stay very comfortable. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch, filled with essentials like bread, milk, tea, coffee and some treats - it made settling in so easy! The facilities inside the lodge were great, although the hot tub was a bit cooler than what were used to and we missed having somewhere to hang our towels outside. Also, outdoor furniture wouldve been handy for relaxing or drying towels after a swim. We loved how unlimited access to Folly Farm meant we could explore so much; honestly, two days were perfect because theres just so much to do. Wed definitely go back!"
Emily Turner - Jan 2025
"Really enjoyed the stay, would definitely return."
Emma Carter - Jan 2025
"We had a fantastic stay! The lodge was spotless, super private and relaxing in the hot tub with stunning views. Loved it!"
Emma - Jan 2025
"Great stay, lovely lodge, perfect for a pre-Christmas break."
James - Dec 2024
"We really enjoyed our time here! The Fairground Lodge had everything we needed and wed definitely stay again. Highly recommend!"
Emily Carter - Nov 2024
"We absolutely loved this place! Plenty of room for everyone, lovely and warm, spotlessly clean and that hot tub was just perfect after a long day. Highly recommend!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed the facilities, especially the hot tub."
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was stunning and beds super comfy."
Emma - Oct 2024
"Folly Farm really is a fantastic spot for families, isnt it? Plenty to keep everyone entertained, plus the staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!"
Sam - Oct 2024
"Our family recently enjoyed a lovely stay at Folly View House near Folly Farm and honestly, it was quite a memorable trip. From the moment we arrived, the warm Welsh treats waiting for us was a thoughtful touch that made us feel welcome straight away. The house itself was spotlessly clean - we appreciated having plenty of towels and toilet rolls in each bathroom, which made things so much easier for everyone. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the plates, cups and utensils we needed for a family of six and the dishwasher was a real lifesaver after busy days out. We also loved how pristine the grounds around the house looked; everything was tidy and well-maintained. The hot tub was a real highlight and it was reassuring to see it being serviced daily - they even emptied it at the end of our stay. On arrival, we got a call checking if wed settled in alright and if there was anything more they could do, which was a nice gesture. There were only a couple of minor niggles - for instance, a firm, slightly elevated armchair in the lounge would have been helpful for my elderly mum, whos 84, as the current furniture was a bit too low for her comfort. Also, it wouldve been better if the first-floor bedroom had single beds instead of bunk beds; two of us, both over six feet, had to sleep on the second floor, where the sloping roof meant we could only stand upright in the middle of the room. Not major issues, but they could improve things a bit. The park itself was fantastic for all ages, super clean and well looked after. We were especially impressed with the indoor activities available - perfect for rainy days! Plus, the location is ideal for visiting lovely seaside towns like Tenby and Saundersfoot. Overall, a great holiday spot with just a couple of small tweaks that could make it even better!"
Jamie - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed staying here. The tents were spotless and comfy. Loved the location - saw the rhinos from the porch and heard lions roaring at night! Brilliant experience."
Alex - Sep 2024
"Great stay at Folly View! The place was comfy, well-stocked and we felt right at home. Can't wait to come back!"
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"We had such a great time at the Twiga tent! The kids adored the giraffe theme and bunk beds and honestly, its some of the best glamping weve experienced. Not really campers, but this was fantastic!"
Oliver - Sep 2024
"Great lodge etc. The main issue is the lack of food facilities. Folly farm itself stops serving food too early that your stuck for options for dinner. Think you should look into this if you grow thw accommodation park."
Kelly - Aug 2022
"This was an enchanting experience with the wonderful facility of the webcams to be able to continue the attachment to the park. The park offered soo much with beautifully cared for animals and such a wonderful variety of entertainment, activity and education. Also to be able to visit for a few consecutive days made it really feel like home. We were a bit concerned about the loud volume of the music in the barn for the large mammals especially. We also hope that the white small pony, donkies and other ponies get time roaming green fields as were worried that they could get depressed in restricted circumstances with the aural oppressivness of the music. Of course it's only for part of the day - so as long as they do get outside some of the time... ??????"
Gill - Jul 2022
"A great place to stay with the added bonus of unlimited entry into Folly Farm Park to visit the animals."
Catherine - Jul 2022
"The park was amazing plenty to see and do adults and children were happy?"
Elizabeth - Jul 2022
"Lovely time, had 4 nights for just over £300 for 3 of us in the showmans wagon which was lovely, not too big or small but ideal for 3 people. We had entry to the park every day included, even the last day! Loaf of bread, toffee waffles, tea, coffee & pint of milk left for us. Lovely & clean! Park on site was a bit big for 2 year old but managed, could do with one down by the wagons mind. 1 light in the van was flickering but not a massive thing as we used the side light which was ample. Had to get most of the ice out of the little freezer in the fridge as it wasn't shutting very well. 1 or 2 of the rides weren't operating and most rides you have to be 1 metre tall. Co-op not far away & a bit further, you have b&m, tesco, kfc, mcd's and other shops. No pub on site or anywhere to purchase alcohol on site. Overall it was very good but limited if it is raining - there is an indoor play area, rides etc but not much else. Lots of animals to see & would definitely go again"
Eira - Jul 2022
"Lovely clean park, next Folly Farm, which is a great place if you have children. Warden was very helpful & gave us all the information we needed. Would certainly return for a future visit."
Sandra - Jul 2022
"folly farm is a good family attraction - plenty of things to keep the kid’s amused"
Lesley - Jul 2022
"We had 4 days of excellence so much to see and do"
Nicholas - Jul 2022
"Absolutely stunning accommodation, no faults! Quiet and so relaxing Hot tub was lovely No issues, can highly recommend."
Phyllis - Jul 2022
"Brilliant holiday. Had a lovely time and would definitely go again."
Krzysztof - Jul 2022
"Great place to stay, the lodges are new and the free entry to the park is fantastic. Folly Farm is brilliant for adults and kids of all ages. You realy can hear the lions roar and monkeys chatter when sitting on the balcony."
Timothy - Jul 2022
"Fab holiday fab location can't wait to return"
Daniel - Jul 2022
"Great holiday, the kids loved the farm park and the showmans wagon, the only negative for us was lack of storage space but we didn't let that get in the way of having a great holiday. All the staff were very friendly."
Craig - Jul 2022
"The lodge was beautiful and very clean. Hot tub was lovely but unfortunately due to the very warm weather it was set to high of temperature 38 degrees and no controls to adjust. The staff on the fairground rides was not helpful at all and made us feel like we were an inconvenience"
Dawn - Jun 2022
"Had a lovely weekend break in one of the wagons. The staff were fantastic and very helpfull. The wagon was spotless and even had a surprise breakfast hamper when we arrived. Having the tickets included in our stay was great as we come and went as we pleased and had plenty of time to do everything in folly farm a few times over. Would definitely recommend staying here."
