Headland Escape Glamping Reviews

"We loved the stunning setting and the shepherds hut was so cosy and well-equipped. Definitely a lovely 5-star experience for us!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"We had a really lovely time staying here. The views are absolutely stunning and the location of the hut is just perfect-peaceful and picturesque. The hosts are friendly and helpful if you need anything, but they also respect your privacy, which we appreciated. The hot tub is great once it's heated, although it does take about two hours, but honestly, its worth the wait. The hut is well kitted out, though a small radio wouldve been nice. The welcome booklet was super handy and there were lots of personal touches that made us feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our four-night winter escape!"
Lucy - Feb 2025
"Loved our time at Goddards Mead, truly a wonderful place to unwind. Can't wait to return soon!"
Mark - Feb 2025
"We absolutely loved the cottage! The location is spot on-so peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The farm setting is stunning, with horses roaming about which was lovely to see. The owners are genuinely friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything. Highly recommend for anyone after a calm getaway!"
Sophie - Jan 2025
"Our Headland Escape Glamping review: Really enjoyed our stay here, peaceful spot and a great vibe all around. Would come back!"
Tom - Dec 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay! The yurt was super comfy, well equipped and the privacy of the spot was just perfect for us."
Alex - Sep 2024
"Really loved the tranquil vibe here, the Jacuzzi was a highlight!"
Sam - Sep 2024
"We had such a lovely stay! The yurt was cosy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was fantastic, though it took some time to warm up, but totally worth the wait. The location was spot on for exploring Tenby and Pembrokeshire-so pretty! As first-timers, we would have appreciated clearer instructions on lighting the log fire; it was a bit tricky. The toilets and shower were spotless, which we really appreciated. Definitely planning to come back soon, we loved it!"
Harper - Sep 2024
"Lovely spot, worth visiting"
Rachel Thompson - Sep 2024
"We had a brilliant time! The hut was well-equipped and cosy, perfect for relaxing. Loved the stunning coastal walks right outside. Our dog was happy too. Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone looking for a break!"
Sarah - Jul 2024
"Honestly, Daisys bed was super comfy - she slept so well! The space was generous and the fittings felt really high quality. Will definitely come back!"
Emily - Jul 2024
"This place really hits the spot. Its beautifully decorated and super clean, with everything looking top-notch. The bed was incredibly comfy and the surrounding area was tidy and well-kept. Theyve thought of all the little details, so wed definitely return!"
Oliver - Jun 2024
"We had a really lovely stay in this good place. The location is so peaceful and private, perfect for a relaxing break. The owners are genuinely friendly and showed us around without being intrusive. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling - absolute bliss! The only thing to note is that the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so aircraft noise is noticeable. It didnt bother us much after a while, but it might be an issue if you're sensitive to noise. Overall, a great find!"
Rajiv - Jun 2024
"We had a lovely stay at this peaceful spot, tucked away in a really pretty and private area. The owners were super friendly and always available if we needed anything, but it still felt secluded. After a long day of cycling, the hot tub was just what we needed! Only thing to keep in mind is that the cottage is directly under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but it didnt ruin our trip at all. Would definitely return!"
Rajesh - Feb 2024
"We had an amazing time! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. The place was beautifully kept and really comfortable. Can't wait to come back for another relaxing stay!"
Jessie - Dec 2023
"We had a really lovely weekend here and definitely want to return later in the year!"
Jess - Dec 2023
"Beautiful spot, comfy yurt, really enjoyed our peaceful retreat there. Would come again!"
James - Nov 2023
"We had such a lovely stay at Goddard's Mead! Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The building's history is beautifully preserved and the cosy atmosphere really helps you unwind. The location is perfect for exploring Essexs charming villages like Thaxted - definitely worth taking a wander around. Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful break with a bit of local history thrown in!"
Harriet - Oct 2023
"We stayed at this place recently and honestly, its pretty great. The house is super well equipped and kept us warm during that rainy December weather - perfect! The bath was brilliant and the showers big enough for a proper rinse. The noise from the flight path didnt bother us at all, which was a relief. Also, perfect spot for dogs afraid of fireworks. Thanks a lot!"
Ellie - Sep 2023
"The place was really lovely and super peaceful, perfect for unwinding. Our dog loved the enclosed garden!"
Amelia - Sep 2023
"We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it feels surprisingly private. Robert and Sharon are such warm, welcoming hosts - really lovely people. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom and the bed was super comfy. The garden is perfect for dogs, totally secluded and furnished nicely. Plenty of walks nearby and Thaxteds restaurants like The Star and The Maypole are worth a visit. Honestly, wed definitely recommend it!"
George - Sep 2023
"What a lovely spot! The cottage was cosy, with a hot tub and log burner, perfect for relaxing. Hosts were super friendly too. Hope to come back soon!"
Charlotte - Jul 2023
"Lovely location and setting. Would definitely recommend"
Gemma - Aug 2022
"Fantastic holiday had at headland escape! Lovely place! Will be returning! Couldn’t fault it !! Highly recommend!!"
Helen - Aug 2022
"Had the most beautiful time here with my partner, our baby and our dog. Accommodation is absolutely perfect and they have so many nice touches. I would just make sure to not go again at this time of the year due to the marathon event that was going on. All roads were closed so we couldn’t day trip out anywhere."
Victoria - Jul 2022
"We had a fantastic stay here! Beautiful shepherds hut on a beautiful campsite. The hot tub and a sea view was the perfect touch with a nice walk to a cobbled beach close to the site. Can't wait to come back again!"
Hannah - Jul 2022
"First time in tendy&really enjoyed it. Will defo b returning ."
Paul - Jul 2022

"Fantastic place to base yourself from to visit Tenby. Peaceful, relaxing and a wonderful setup with everything you need. Will definitely return as soon as we can! Dog and child friendly too!"
Alex - Jul 2022
"Idyllic setting with a touch of luxury. The yurts are beautifully decorated and have everything you could to make your stay comfortable. So many wonderful beaches within a short drive of Headland Escape. We stayed for 4 nights and wished we had booked longer. The hot tub was also a great way to end a busy day exploring the area. Would definitely recommend"

"Very peaceful and relaxing Facilities were great site was very clean It was the perfect get away to chill and relax Would definitely recommend"

Rachel - Jul 2022
"Bluebell yurt was beautiful, comfortable, clean, well equipped with all that we needed, we had a fantastic holiday there the first experience of a yurt. All white bed linen comfortable mattress. Thank you for complimentary wine and Welsh cakes and milk. We could not have asked for anything better even the weather was with us. Showers and toilets spotless, the best I have been in, kitchen area adequate for what we needed. Buses near by to go into Tenby, crows taxi's were brilliant and walking the coastline was beautiful. A fantastic time celebrating a 50 th birthday, thank you , will be back."
Sandra - Jul 2022
"Absolutely perfect place for a relaxing holiday! Beautiful surroundings and fantastic facilities, spotlessly clean. Fantastic for children as so safe."
Hayley - Jul 2022
"Lovely quiet site, accommodation is well spaced out and you have plenty of room outside your yurt. There was some noise from neighbouring sites however it didn’t cause us any difficulties. Really good location in that it was in a quiet village but not far from amenities. Would recommend"
Gemma - Jul 2022
"The site itself is Beautiful and is absolutely spotlessly clean,it has a very chilled feel to it, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. I can't recommend this highly enough and we will definitely be returning ?"
Joanne - Jul 2022
"The yurts are awesome. They have most things that you need, to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The views are spectacular, and having the space around each Yurt is nice. Thoroughly recommend it."
