Florence Springs Glamping Reviews

"We had a pretty decent holiday overall. The site was lovely and we were particularly wowed by the Safari tent - it really made our stay special. Of course, weather can be a bit unpredictable and we hit 65 mph winds plus heavy rain on the last night, which was a bit off-putting. Still, the tent held up well, just a loud nights sleep! The wood burner was a nice touch and kept us warm, which was much appreciated. On the downside, the oven and cooker were a tad underpowered, especially if you're cooking for a big group; not a huge issue for us since we ate out mostly. An electric kettle wouldve been a nice upgrade from the gas hob, which took ages to boil. The Gas BBQ was a cracking addition and we made good use of it. All in all, a good trip with some room for improvements!"
Alex - Apr 2025
"We had a lovely stay! The place was spotless, really comfy and the hot tub was a highlight!"
Jessie - Jan 2025
"We had a lovely stay at this cottage, tucked away on a working farm but still very private. Robert and Sharon are such warm, welcoming hosts. The place is super spacious with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave. The gardens a real gem-completely private, dog-proof and with nice furniture. There are plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed dining out in Thaxted-The Star and The Maypole are definitely worth a visit. Overall, wed highly recommend it!"
Alexandra - Jan 2025
"Really enjoyed the experience overall"
Amira - Dec 2024
"Our Florence Springs Glamping review: We had such a lovely weekend here! The place really ticked all the boxes for us. Our dogs were especially happy with the underfloor heating and the garden - Luna was wagging her tail non-stop, so much that she strained it! Definitely planning to come back. Great spot, happy pups and owners all round!"
Charlie - Aug 2024
"We had a great stay overall! The yurt was super spacious and private, perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was fantastic, though it did take a while to heat up, which was a bit of a hassle. The staff were really helpful whenever we needed a hand. Only small thing - we had to be careful with our food since a cheeky squirrel kept trying to nab stuff that wasnt in a lidded box. Still, loved it!"
Lucy - Aug 2024
"We absolutely loved this place! The hot tub, log burner and peaceful vibes made our mini break truly special. Cant wait to come back soon!"
Olivia - Jul 2024
"We loved this cosy little cottage! Its perfectly tucked away, so peaceful, yet super close to shops and local spots. The hot tub was a real treat and the underfloor heating kept everything nice and warm. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie are lovely hosts. Cant wait to return!"
Martin - Jul 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is super private and peaceful, yet close enough to everything we needed. The owners were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home without intruding. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling-its just perfect. One thing to note, though, is that the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. Luckily, we got used to it quickly and it didnt bother us too much. Overall, a lovely spot!"
Rajiv - May 2024
"Our family really enjoyed Florence Springs, especially the Cuckoos Nest Treehouse - its such a unique experience! The kids loved it and the staff, especially Sam, were fantastic. Definitely a holiday to remember!"
Daniel - May 2024
"The tent was lovely, super clean and spacious, just wish there was a proper heater inside instead of relying solely on the log burner. Would definitely return!"
Isla Morgan - Apr 2024
"We spent a week in one of the yurts and honestly, it was pretty fantastic. The yurt itself was lovely - really spacious and comfy, which surprised us. Falling asleep by the firelight with the stars shining overhead was definitely a highlight. The outdoor kitchen was spot on, well equipped and perfect for our needs. The hot tub was just divine, especially after long days exploring. The only thing that wasnt quite perfect was the compostable toilet - a bit quirky, but it gave us something to chat about! Itd be great if the recycling facilities were a bit better, considering its called an eco glamping village. Still, Florence Springs is a gorgeous place and so well managed. Wed love to visit again!"
Orla Byrne - Feb 2024
"We had such a lovely break during half term. The weather was warm and everyone really enjoyed it!"
Emma - Nov 2023
"We had an amazing time at the treehouse! Its a real good place with stunning, peaceful surroundings. The only thing we wish wed known upfront was about the electric - luckily, the USB ports saved us! Definitely a place wed visit again. Highly recommend!"
Sarah - Nov 2023
"We really enjoyed our time here! The location is lovely and perfect for exploring nearby spots. The staff were super friendly, making us feel right at home. The safari tent was spotlessly clean and comfy, with everything we needed. The only downside was the weather - it was pretty awful with heavy rain and strong winds. Luckily, the cosy wood burner and hot tub saved the day. All in all, a great stay!"
Emily Carter - Nov 2023
"We absolutely loved this cottage! Its nicely tucked away, so super peaceful, but still near everything we needed. The hot tub and underfloor heating in the bathroom were real treats. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome. Cant wait to return for a longer stay!"
Jamie - Oct 2023
"We had a really nice stay overall. The kitchen looks fantastic and clearly a lot of effort went into it, which we appreciated. Our only gripe was the roof - it was leaking, which was a bit of a letdown since we imagined being able to sit comfortably inside without worrying about the rain. Still, wed stay again!"
James - Oct 2023
"Really enjoyed our stay, the cottage had everything needed."
Helen - Oct 2023
"We really had a lovely time! Sharon and Robert were such welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home. The place had everything we needed - super clean, comfy and perfect for our dog Archie, who felt safe and happy. The location was spot on, with loads of nice walks and nearby Thaxted and the other villages are just charming. Honestly, we left feeling totally refreshed - it was just what we needed!"
Laura Middleton - Sep 2023
"Honestly, we think we've discovered one of Pembrokeshires good places! Every moment was simply lovely, making it the best UK holiday we've had in ages. Only downside is the Hobbit Houses dont allow dogs - wouldve loved to bring our pup next time. Tried rebooking for next year but the dates seem booked up. Could someone check on this?"
Jess - Aug 2023
"Great experience overall, would recommend."
Clara - Aug 2023
"Absolutely loved our stay at Goddards Mead! The cottage was perfect in every aspect. Can't wait to return soon!"
Samuel - Jun 2023
"Such a charming little place, we really appreciated the spaciousness on our cosy plot."
Sam - Aug 2020
"Absolutely loved the place! Its got such a quirky vibe, really unforgettable experience."
Amelia - Sep 2019
"A fantastic spot for all ages, perfect for relaxing and enjoying quality family moments together."
Claire - Aug 2019
"We spent a week in one of the yurts and honestly, it was such a lovely experience. The yurt itself was gorgeous - falling asleep under the stars with the firelight flickering was definitely a highlight. What really stood out was how spacious and comfy it was, making our stay super relaxing. The outdoor kitchen was great too; well stocked and perfect for cooking up meals. The hot tub was just what we needed after a long day. The only thing we didn't love was the compostable toilet - a bit quirky, but it gave us something to giggle about! Some better recycling options would be a nice touch, especially since its called an eco glamping village. Overall, Florence Springs is a wonderful place and wed love to visit again!"
Imogen - Jul 2019
"Absolutely loved our trip! The scenery was stunning and the accommodation was top-notch. We drove all the way from Germany-it was a long haul but totally worth it. Can't wait to return!"
Luke - Jul 2019
"We honestly feel like weve discovered one of Pembrokeshires good places! Everything about our stay was just perfect and it truly was the best UK holiday weve had in ages. Only downside is the hobbit houses dont allow dogs - wouldve loved to bring our pup. Tried to rebook for next year but the dates are booked up. Could someone check if theres anything available?"
Harriet - Jun 2019
"We loved our stay in the yurt! Plenty of space and cosy with extra blankets for chilly mornings. Having a dog bed was a nice touch. Sitting by the wood burner at night was perfect. The nearby towns are charming and the Pembrokeshire coastal path is definitely worth exploring. Highly recommend!"
Harper - Jun 2019
"Great spot for newbies trying out camping, we loved it!"
Oliver - Apr 2019
"Loved every minute of it, will definitely be back again."
Justin - Jul 2022
"Lovely quiet surroundings. The Woodland hideaway was so nice and cosy. My favourite was the garden area, hot tub fire pit and outdoor cooking area had every thing we needed for a perfect getaway."
Jennifer - Jul 2022
"Great holiday, enjoyed by all the family. Really great experience with great helpful staff. The tree house could of been a little cleaner on arrival. Under chopping board were stinky and dirty and sticky stuff (spilt drink) on the floor. But over all a great holiday, thank you"
Carly - Jul 2022
"Stunning accommodation"
Kate - Jul 2022
"Lovely site. Staff were very friendly. Yurt was very clean as were the shower facilities. Good location, lots to do in the local area. Absolutely loved our mini moon here and would certainly come back"
Courtney - Jul 2022
"So peaceful and staff always on hand if needed and discreetly out of the way if not. The yurt had everything we needed, very well equipped and comfy bed. Made use of the hot tub every evening. We had amazing weather during our week."
Lorna - Jul 2022
"Glamping was excellent, the site itself is purely for glamping and thus no other facillities e.g kids park/shop but these can be found next door via 5min walk Location was ideal for all of Pembrokeshire and Tenby"
James - Jul 2022
"Lovely experience, we had a great time and loved how relaxing our space was. The hot tub was the cherry on top!"
Kulbinder - Jul 2022
"The tree house surpassed all our expectations. Well appointed, very comfortable, the kids loved the slide and the hot tub. The setting is beautiful and the accommodation is nicely spaced out so it felt secluded. Nice to have the option of the shower block a short walk away as well as the outdoor facilities by the tree house. We would love to return. Thanks to all the staff for keeping everything clean and well run."
Susan - Jul 2022
"Location and surroundings brilliant, facilities really good and staff more than helpful with anything we needed"
