The lodge features a comfortable double bedroom on the ground floor, together with a charming mezzanine sleeping area upstairs with two single beds. The mezzanine is accessed by ladder and is suitable for children only, providing a fun and cosy space for younger guests to enjoy. With its warm and welcoming interior, the Family Getaway is an ideal base for families looking to spend quality time together while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of Mid Wales. The lodge benefits from central heating with individual radiators and a thermostat, allowing you to control the temperature and keep the accommodation comfortable throughout your stay. Living & KitchenThe open-plan living and dining area provides a welcoming space for families to relax, enjoy meals, and spend time together. The living room features a comfortable sofa and television, while the mezzanine sleeping area adds a unique and cosy feature to the accommodation. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave integrated oven, hob, under-counter fridge with freezer compartment, cooking utensils, cookware, crockery, cutlery, and glassware, providing everything you need for a relaxed self-catering stay. Bedroom & BathroomThe ground-floor bedroom features a comfortable double bed and television, creating a cosy space for adults to relax. The mezzanine bedroom upstairs features two single beds and is designed specifically with younger guests in mind.

Does this accommodation come with a private hot tub?
Yes, this holiday rental comes with a private use hot tub that's yours to use for the duration of your stay.
Are the hot tubs cleaned prior to arrival?
Hot tubs are usually drained and emptied at around 10am in the morning which allows them to heat up to the correct temperature for your arival. The one exception being if you're booking a property with a wood-fired tub, which make need to be heated when you arrive. Check the description box on this page for details.
Can children use the hot tub at Family Getaway Lodge?
Its advisable that those under the age of 5 refrain from using hot tubs. If your child is over 5 years old, it is recommended to maintain a lower water temperature of approximately 35°C and limit their soaking time to 10 minutes. Younger children may have more difficulty regulating their body temperature, so these precautions are essential to ensure a safe hot tub experience for older kids.
How long can you stay in the hot tub?
If you're new to hot-tubbing, it's best to keep your sessions to short bursts. 10-15 minutes is often recommended but even that might be too long for some users. Just be aware that higher temperatures of around 40°C can make you feel faint. Take breaks, drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and turn the temperature down if it's 'too much'.
