The cottage was a home from home and had all mod cons and everything you needed (and more) for a weekend getaway. The hot tub was not private though and everyone could see you when you are in it!
Samantha, Harlow
Date of stay: 23rd April 2018
No ac or fans so the cabin got very hot over night.
Susan, Matlock
Date of stay: 20th April 2018
We picked the first lovely warm week of the year! Had a relaxing few days in the sunshine. The main road is quite close to the lodges and quite busy so some noise especially the motorbikes taking advantage of the straight dry road.
The hot tub was why we had booked this place and it didn't disappoint.
Carol
Date of stay: 16th April 2018

Date of stay: 6th October 2017
We couldn't fault our accommodation in Benson Waterfront - there was everything needed to make for a comfortable four-night stay. It was warm, clean, comfortable and spacious with all "mod cons" - TV, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher, central heating, bath and shower.

Cannot rate the on-site restaurant as we didn't use it, due to its opening times being Winter hours, so we ate locally during our days out and in the village, evenings.
Steven, Darlington
Date of stay: 2nd October 2017
Relaxing break, good accommodation, bistro 5 minutes stroll away, village of Benson has good facilities, and plenty to see in the local area including Henley not too far away

It was great.
Elizabeth, Worcestershire
Date of stay: 22nd September 2017
only downside was regarding hot tub as there was no privacy from you're neighbours nor from passing river walkers.
Tara, Worcestershire
Date of stay: 15th September 2017
The accommodation was perfect for what we needed - the bedroom was cosy and had ample of space for storing clothes etc, the bathroom was of a great size. The kitchen was what we needed for our stay which included a dishwasher, so we could relax even more. The living area was a good size with a tv and DVD, which led on to the decking with seating area and the hot tub. Great accomodation

Date of stay: 17th April 2017
My girlfriend and I absolutely loved this place, the cabin is well equipped with everything we needed, the lady at reception was friendly and helpful (Shawna). Hot tub was relaxing. Good getaway a nice difference from my usual London fast paced life. We paid more then you would usually because we went in the Easter holiday 2017 but don't regret it. There is a cafe on site , river view, local town, service station shops (M+S, McDonald's), nice greenery also there is a bus that runs right through to Oxford and Reading.
Damian, St. Helens

Date of stay: 12th December 2016
Lovely cottage, brilliant value!
Kate, Wantage
Date of stay: 31st October 2016
Great lodge to stay in, only thing would be is that it needs more privacy around the hot tub, we were in one of the middle lodges and felt very exposed when in the hot tub.
Donald, Lymington
Date of stay: 14th October 2016
The location was perfect but was spoilt by sheer greed on the part of the company by putting tent s and caravans in front of the lodges to spoil the view of the river and the
countryside.
Caroline, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Date of stay: 15th August 2016
Lodge was brilliant. Very comfortable, plenty of room.
Kate, Devon
Date of stay: 15th August 2016
Very comfortable and well equipped . The only drawback was its position was often in the shade --- but that could also be a positive .
We felt very much at home there
Peter, Co Durham
Date of stay: 8th August 2016
Only reason I marked it down was that the fan on the cooker and fan in the bathroom didn't work and we had am issue with shower curtain. Other than that it was fab and exceeded expectations.
Steve, Great Yarmouth
Date of stay: 5th August 2016
Overall very pleased with holiday. Lack of dedicated parking for lodges was annoying, several bays occupied by boat trailers. Hot tub was by far the best part of our holiday. Wifi was unavailable for a couple of days but staff were very helpful in getting this rectified. Bistro food very good consequently gets very busy.
Louise, Lanark
Date of stay: 22nd July 2016
Great accommodation in a great setting. Staff went above and beyond when we arrived early. Easy to access and peaceful holiday. Shame it's so far away (400+ miles) or we'd be back every weekend!
Shanice, London
Date of stay: 22nd July 2016
I had a great day, highly recommended!

Lovely accommodation, and the beds were really comfy and added bonus that the twin room had proper sized beds (not like some other caravans)
John, Bridgend
Date of stay: 23rd May 2016
It's not in my nature to be generous with reviews, so you can take it that we were delighted with Benson Waterfront. From the friendly, helpful Sian who ensured we were made at home to the beautiful, fully equipped lodge to the lovely (and fairly unique) surroundings, everything - except perhaps the weather - was perfect. It may not be the best choice for families with small children and those who seek lot's of activities and entertainment, but for people like us who appreciate the peaceful, relaxing riverside situation yet still close to lovely pubs, restaurants and historical towns, it was just right. We will certainly visit again.
Maureen, Burton-on-trent
Date of stay: 16th May 2016
Quiet and comfortable
Kenneth, Aberdeen
Date of stay: 15th April 2016
The lodge was fantastic and the kids loved the hot tub, it was on every night we were there. Facilities within the lodge was more than required, full cooking facilities if they are required. Nice and quiet site, lovely just sitting out on the decking watching the world go bye. Good location and not too far away from Windsor, Henley, Oxford etc.
Michelle
Date of stay: 18th March 2016
The lodge was excellent. The hot tub was lovely but difficult for anyone with mobility problems to get in or out as has no steps.
Andy, Leicester
Date of stay: 7th March 2016
Accommodation was fantastic.
T, High Wycombe
Date of stay: 7th March 2016
Beautiful location, modern facilities, very friendly staff.
Susan, Weston-super-mare
Date of stay: 7th March 2016
Only downside was no Wi-Fi and no parking space when we arrived back one evening. We had a disabled member with our party so it was quite inconvenient. All parking spaces were free again by late that evening, are visitors allowed to use these spaces?
Adam, Sheffield
Date of stay: 25th January 2016
Lovely lodge, everything you needed was supplied crockery, utensils etc. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Everything was very clean and the hot tub was best bit. Nice secluded location but easy access to London and Oxford.

Lodge was clean and tidy, heating was on when I got there so was lovely and warm. Hot tub was amazing and lodge was modern. Both me and my partner really enjoyed it.
Anna, Robertsbridge
Date of stay: 2nd November 2015
Lovely quiet setting. Nice clean lodge with wonderful hot tub!
Comfy bed, just wished it was bigger. Only problem with hot tub was the cover is quite heavy and awkward. Overall a great weekend!
Stephen, Felixstowe
Date of stay: 26th June 2015
We had really lovely holiday, the site, staff and accommodation were excellent. The waterfront bar and bistro served good food and was only a short stroll from the lodge. My only fault was that when we arrived on the Monday we had a lovely view from the verandah of the boats and the river however by Wednesday we could not see the river because of all the touring vans, campervans and tents directly in front of the lodges. This however was a minor problem and we will definitely be returning.
Amanda, Cheshire
Date of stay: 5th June 2015
Amazing lodge , toaster would of been better than using the grill !! Lovely view and setting

Pauline, Prestatyn
Date of stay: 22nd May 2015
It was a lovely peaceful place very relaxing would go again one small niggle please get electric kettle and toaster . Otherwise could not fault it .
Maria, North Thamesmead
Date of stay: 11th May 2015
The Lodge was spacious and clean upon first impression, but once settled could see that cleaning could have been a little better.
The blinds in the bedroom were very dusty, and the top of the shower head and shower door also had a collection of dust on them. Other than that, very clean and comfortable. The addition of recycing bins was good to see.
Shirley, Didcot
Date of stay: 1st May 2015
Such a beautiful area.
Andrew, Warwickshire
Date of stay: 20th March 2015
Lovely chalet, clean and well equipped. Great views of the Thames. Best of all the hot tub.
Paul
Accommodation excellent. Very clean. Lovely Position by the Thames and good restaurant on site.
Susan
The lodges are at the far end of the complex away from the cafe. Not a lot of foot traffic. There's a view of the river and boats from the balcony. Close to the Thames Path.
Alison
Had a fantastic stay for the second time. Luxurious lodge. Great value for money.
Glennys
Great Sian was very welcoming
Allen
Great location lots to see. Cafe was closed evening in March. Office closed when we arrived and Sunday no contract telephone.
Holly
We had a lovely stay here, it was quiet and clean and a tranquil location. We were there early, slightly out of season, so the riverside cafe wasn't open for dinner. But there were nice pubs in the area and an M&S within walking distance, so we had options. It was a good base (if you have a car) to explore Oxfordshire.
Carol
Great location, lodge and hot tub. All of a very high and excellent standard couldn't fault it. Only slight downside for me was the traffic noise. But this may not be a problem for other people.
Pauline
Beautiful lodge with everything you need for a relaxing break, hot tub was fantastic just what you need after a day walking. So peaceful and lovely surroundings really enjoyed our stay we will be back. Pauline and Dennis from Derbyshire.
Margaret
Very relaxing break. Will be a lot better when laurel hedging grows to make hot tubs private
Clare
would return. lodge was spotless. had everything we needed.
Elaine
One word - excellent
Caroline
Spotlessy clean, great food at the bistro, freindly village pub, beautiful walks along the river,Oxford well worth a visit too.
Dawn
Fantastic location, local village with pubs and chippy walkable, lovely walk down the Thames. Lodge very clean and staff very helpful. Only negative which has been pointed out to staff in the visitors book in each lodge was the lack of kitchen utensils. No chopping board, no serving spoons, no stirring spoons, and lots of other essentials items to cook a meal were missing. I hope that the owners read the guest book and rectify this as if this was sorted the lodge would be perfect as the cleanliness and location were superb.
Joanne
Lovely quiet location, very relaxing

Fun Days Out near Benson Waterfront

about 4 Miles
This is an all weather attraction in Abingdon, Oxfordshire which will appeal to all ages.  The model trains are fascinating to watch and we love the model village in the Vale Scene.  The exhibits have been well thought out and it's a pleasure to wander around this museum looking at everything on offer.  You can be assured of a warm welcome from the moment you arrive and for kids and adults alike this makes a fun and educational day out.
about 20 Miles
Farmer Gows is a recommended attraction in the Faringdon area of Oxfordshire and will be especially suited to families with young children.  The little ones will love coming to see the farm animals including pigs, cows and lambs.  The meet the animals session takes place every day and includes handling the animals, walking the goats, feeding the pigs and cows and egg collecting.  Look out for special seasonal events throughout the year such as the Halloween Party, Lambing and children's workshops.  The latest news from the farm is that they have some Saddleback piglets and Speckledy chicks arriving shortly.
about 25 Miles
This has to be one of the most popular days out in Oxfordshire and is sure to appeal to nature lovers, animal lovers and keen gardeners.  Families and couples will enjoy wandering around this amazing park with a wide variety of mammals and birds to see as well as reptiles. Some of the most popular animals are the Burrowing Owl, Dexter Cow, African Pancake Tortoise and the Bar Headed Goose.  Check out their website for the latest admission costs and special offers.
about 31 Miles
Studley Grange Garden and Leisure Park is a fantastic attraction based in Swindon, Wiltshire.  For nature lovers and those who like to get out and explore this is the perfect day out.  It's also an all weather attraction with Butterfly World being part of the site.  Butterfly World is kept at around 85 degrees year round so this makes a perfect place to visit in all seasons. A visit to the Craft Village is also recommended where there are a wide range of handcrafted gifts.
about 34 Miles
This is a really unique attraction and certainly worth a visit in our opinion.  Established in 1995 and situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside this attraction will appeal to those looking for something a little different.  You can't ride the animals but you can trek alongside them and enjoy the fantastic scenery.  From farm tracks to country lanes the gentle animals will carry your rucksack for you along the way.  There are personally guided treks available all year round and you will have your own Llama for the trek.
about 34 Miles
RHS Garden Wisley is an excellent choice for a day trip, offering excellent value for money all year round. A yearly membership is available so visitors can take advantage of the parks attractions as often as they wish. On entry to the park visitors can pick up a family trail which offers suggestions of places within the grounds to visit and explains all the fun things to do in the garden. There are many areas to explore including the beautiful Rose Garden, the amazing Glasshouse and the Café which served home made locally sourced food.
about 39 Miles
Chessington World of Adventures has a well deserved reputation and one of the best theme parks in the UK the site is crammed with rides for adrenaline junkies including Vampire rollercoaster which fly's through Transylvania and the Tomb Blaster which is not for the faint hearted the site also boasts a fantastic Sea Life Centre and a range of attractions for younger children including daily shows and talks.
