Blistors Farm The Bull Pen is a quirky and unique property in Coleford, the Forest of Dean. This former cowshed has kept its character with rustic wooden beams everywhere (though, thankfully, the cows are all gone...) You might recognise this property from Netflix's Sex Education. (This is Jakub's house from the show!) The Bull Pen sleeps 9 across 4 bedrooms and dogs are welcome too. They can run wild in the two-acre enclosed dog field.

The property sits on the edge of Bream village so you can walk to the pub or grab supplies at the shops.   (There's also a place to grab some tasty fish and chips!) Mountain bikers will likely love the nearby trails and, if you're into climbing, we recommend Symonds Yat Rock. The area hosts food festivals and music events all year, too so check what's on during your stay. Clearwell Castle is close by.

Sarah - Sep 2024
We had a fantastic time celebrating my 60th with family, including a baby and three dogs. The cottage had everything we needed and was super cosy. The hot tub was a highlight, even in the rain. Thanks for having us, we loved it!
Alex - Jul 2024
Really enjoyed our stay here! The setting is gorgeous and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. Louise and Frank were super friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. A few bits of equipment, like the football table, could do with fixing, but overall, a lovely trip!
Oliver - Apr 2024
We had a lovely stay at this place. The house is full of charm and history, with little touches like the dolls’ house on the stairs that the kids loved. As fans of Sex Education, we thought it was pretty cool that it’s where Jakub lived, too. The tennis court, hot tuband snooker table were all in great shape and kept us busy. Plus, the location was perfect - loads of things to see and do nearby. Definitely a memorable trip for us!
Emma - Mar 2024
We had such a lovely weekend at this quirky place! The full-sized snooker table and tennis court kept everyone entertained. The kids adored the dolls house and chasing the sheep with lambs in the garden. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing-hot tub, fire pitand BBQ all in one spot. Our dogs and puppies loved running freely in the nearby field. Honestly, we wish we could stay longer-it was just brilliant for all ages. Can’t wait to come back!

This place is fantastic! Full of charm and super cosy, it’s perfect for unwinding. There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained, no matter their age. The best part? They’re pet-friendly - we brought our four dogs and felt right at home. It’s so rare to find spots that welcome dogs like family. Can’t wait to come back and book another stay soon. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!
