"We had a lovely stay overall. The cabins are pretty nice, though theyre starting to look a bit worn. Booking during term time was a real bargain, but prices during the holidays seem way too steep, which might make it less worth it then. The facilities are top-notch and the views are absolutely stunning - really breathtaking. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The food was a bit meh, but the hot tubs and scenery definitely made up for it. Well be back for sure!"

"We really enjoyed our stay! The accommodation was comfy and parking was hassle-free. There are lovely walks around the site, perfect for walking the dog or just stretching your legs. The scenery is stunning, especially the woodlands and forests which we love. Most dog owners were respectful and the dog bins were well placed. Definitely a great spot!"

"We had a lovely long weekend and can't wait to come back! The place was pretty comfy overall, but the second bedroom had two single beds that were a bit uneven in height, which was a little awkward when pushed together for our daughter and her boyfriend. The decking couldve been tidier too, with grass cuttings lying around. Oh and a little checklist of essentials to bring along wouldve been handy for first-timers like us. Still, a great stay!"

"We really liked the place overall, especially the beds which were super comfy and gave us the best sleep! The layout was thoughtfully done. However, some things could be improved, like adding a toilet upstairs and fixing the plugs. Also, removing the breakfast bar for a dishwasher would be much more practical."

"We had a lovely stay at the bungalow with our group of six. The garden and decking BBQ area were fantastic and the location felt really private, which was a bonus. That said, a few fittings could do with fixing - one chair was broken and the bed head was a bit wobbly, which was a concern for the little one. Overall, though, it was a great spot for us!"

9am check out seemed a bit unnecessary. Cuts a 2 night stay down to very much one day and feels much less value for money."

"Enjoyed stay so much, we tried to extend it but sadly it was fully booked. Excellent leisure facilities - shame the 2nd Jacuzzi wasn't working as the functioning one got full in the evenings. Extensive menu and tasty food in the restaurant - loved the mocktails. The site was quiet and well maintained with lovely walks in the adjoining wood. It is well situated for the forest of Dean attractions, Welsh borders and even the Cotswolds. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was our 1st stay in this area and we hope to return very soon."
