Brokerswood Holiday Park Reviews

"We had a lovely stay at the lodge, which was really spacious and peaceful. The showers worked well, though one bathroom was missing a toilet roll holder-bit annoying but no big deal. The wine cooler fridge was a nice touch! Only thing missing were bedside lamps, so reading in bed wasn't possible, not sure if its just our lodge or all. The beds werent the comfiest, but overall, we'd definitely recommend and come back!"
Charlotte - Apr 2025
"We loved our stay at the lodge! Its super cosy and feels just like home. The location is peaceful, yet only a short 10-minute drive to shops and takeaways. Longleat is just 20 minutes away. The site is really well kept and tidy."
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"The lodge was super roomy, spotless and really comfy. Loved the hot showers and the big patio doors leading to the deck. Parking for two cars was a bonus too!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, there were some plus points but quite a few downsides too. The hot tub was definitely a highlight - really relaxing after a long day. The little walk through the mini-forest was lovely, really scenic. However, the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The sofa was filthy and the floor looked like it hadnt been cleaned properly - there were finger nails, dirt and wrappers under the footstools. The curtains were mouldy and broken, which was disappointing. The kitchen was pretty much useless with just one pot and pan and they were ruined beyond use. It felt like the lodge had only been quickly tidied up - the hand soap dispenser was empty and the toothbrush holder was crusty and rusty. The outside furniture was covered in dirt, needing a proper jet wash - it was so green and grimy, I wouldnt want to sit there. Oh and the welcome letter? They got our names wrong, which is a small thing but shows a lack of attention to detail. Despite all that, we did enjoy our stay, but for the price, wed probably try elsewhere next time. If you find a cracking deal, maybe you can overlook some of these issues, but generally, Id look at other lodges around."
Rachel - Mar 2025
"Our Brokerswood Holiday Park review: Absolutely loved our stay! The lodge was fantastic, definitely one of the best we've experienced after many trips."
James - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay here! Its peaceful, well-equipped and the shower pressure was spot on."
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay, will definitely come back!"
Harriet - Feb 2025
"The caravan was quite cosy and had all we needed, but visiting in winter meant the 19-degree heating wasnt quite enough to keep us warm. Still, nice place!"
David - Feb 2025
"Great spot to relax after a busy day"
Emma Carter - Feb 2025
"We had a lovely time! The 4-bed lodge was comfortable, even with the initial mix-up. Definitely planning to come back soon!"
Emma - Feb 2025
"We stayed at Lakeside 1 recently and honestly, its a lovely spot. The lodge feels very modern and well thought out, with TVs in both bedrooms and comfy double beds with loads of storage. The kitchen is fully equipped, which was great for cooking in. The heating kept everything warm and the hot tub was a real treat after a day of exploring. The only thing to note is the wooden steps up to the lodge, so might be tricky for some. Its tucked away from the lake, so only a tiny view through the trees in winter, but the surrounding walks around the lake and woods are perfect for dogs. Staff were really friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. Definitely a quiet, peaceful place to unwind!"
Emma - Jan 2025
"The place was really clean and super comfy, just what we needed."
Oliver - Jan 2025
"We had such a lovely stay. The peaceful place really helped us unwind and the accommodation was top-notch. The hot tub was a real highlight! Staff were super friendly. Already booked for next year, so obviously we loved it!"
Emma - Jan 2025
"We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is fantastic, just a short drive to Bath and Longleat, which made exploring easy. The lodge itself was lovely-spacious, comfy and well kitted out. The hot tub was a real highlight! A couple of small things: some clearer signage would help find the place more easily and itd be great if they provided a dishcloth and tea towel. The sofas werent the most comfy, as the cushions sloped, but overall, we had a lovely time."
Emma - Jan 2025
"Honestly, we expected more for the price. The place looked tired and wasnt properly cleaned. The blinds were broken and the hot tub wasnt ready, which was a real letdown. The decking was super slippery and unsafe. One bedroom heater didnt work and the fire in the lounge was out. We just left after one night-big disappointment!"
Emma Carter - Jan 2025
"The lodge was quite cosy and we enjoyed our stay overall. However, it wouldve been great to have a hairdryer included and a slightly firmer mattress. Also, the twin rooms light was out and some decking lighting wouldve been handy. Still, good experience!"
Emily Carter - Jan 2025
"Really recommend"
Emma Collins - Dec 2024
"Great stay! The lodge was spotless, super comfy and had loads of facilities."
Emma - Dec 2024
"Absolutely loved our stay! The lodge was cosy, clean and perfect for a relaxing weekend away."
Emily Carter - Dec 2024
"The place definitely needs a proper deep clean soon."
Harriet - Dec 2024
"Wed definitely return, but a few things could be better. The place wasnt very well lit or clearly signposted, which was a bit frustrating. Also, the lodge wasnt the one we originally booked. No welcome pack either, so we struggled with the heating at first - it was boiling when we arrived! Had to wait until the next day to sort it out."
Emily Roberts - Dec 2024
"We had a fantastic weekend! The lodge was super comfy with loads of space. Having three toilets really helped us and the bathrooms were great too. Definitely recommend for a relaxing break."
Emma - Nov 2024
"We had a great stay! The lodge was lovely and spotless. The smallest room was a bit snug for adults, but the hot tub was perfect after a day out. Gorgeous forest views!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"We loved the lodges spaciousness and it had all we needed. The location was perfect, but dont forget a torch - it gets very dark at night!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"Great vibe, comfy lodge, friendly staff, really enjoyed our stay!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"The place was spotlessly clean and super comfy, with decent beds and plenty of room. The sofas looked a bit worn, but they still worked well, especially for a pet-friendly spot. Wed stay again!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"Weve stayed here three times now and always love it. The place is stunning and totally worth it! Cant wait to come back next year."
Jamie - Nov 2024
"We had a lovely stay, the place was spotless and beautifully presented. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The hot tub was pristine and the decking was always leaf-free. Great experience!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"Really impressed with how spotless everything was and how well everything was stocked."
Emma - Nov 2024
"Excellent short break. First time we had been to this park, lovely and quiet. We have a dog so it was the perfect setting. Will definately be returning."
Kerry - Aug 2022
"We had a fantastic stay at Brokers wood. So much to see and do in the surrounding areas. We loved the on-site activities."
Sarah - Aug 2022
"We had a fantastic time, the accommodation was so clean and well looked after, the hot tub checked daily and it was so quiet. I do think this park is undersold as we couldn't fault anything. We had deliveries from local takeaways direct to our lodge, the children did the Tarzan Trial and the walks in the wood with the dog were fantastic. Yes down by the lake there is building work for the new lodges so I agree with previous comments of not wanting to stay in one of the pods currently. We would 100% return."
Victoria - Aug 2022
"My husband and I took our pup on his first holiday to Brokerswood. He absolutely loved it. As did we! Such a lovely location. Beautiful lake and woodland area. The cabin was comfortable and cosy, exactly what we were looking for. Gated decking area, perfect for the pooch. Friendly staff, very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will most definitely stay again. Thank you! ?"
Sam - Jul 2022
"Had a wonderful relaxing family time . Only complaint is the double bed needs a new mattress. Thank you"
Annette - Jul 2022
"Short notice weekend away was amazing value for money and had an amazing time booked an activity and the coach for canoeing was absolutely incredible will definitely be back"
Kieran - Jul 2022
"We loved the area, the walks around the lake were great and the staff were lovely"
