Green Hill Farm Holiday Village Reviews

"Weve usually gone through an owner at this site, but when the agent told us we needed to change our booking because our usual lodge was no longer available, we decided to book direct. Honestly, it was quite a letdown. The previous lodge was lovely and felt quite luxurious, but this one was cramped and lacked that cosy feel. The beds were more like camping mats and there was no washing machine, which was inconvenient. We also asked for two bathrooms, but one was just a toilet and sink, which was a bit disappointing."
Emma - Nov 2024
"Overall, the sofa was a bit wobbly on one side and the toilet roll handles broke easily. But the place was lovely and clean, which was a real plus!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! The lodges were spotless and well-maintained and everyone on the team was friendly and eager to help us. Would definitely return!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"From the moment we booked, the team made us feel really welcomed with their friendly communication. The lodge was top-notch and spotless and the park itself is beautifully kept in a lovely part of the New Forest. Definitely a trip to remember!"
Samuel - Oct 2024
"Our Green Hill Farm Holiday Village review: Great holiday overall! The hot tub was a real highlight, used nearly every night, just a shame about the first."
James - Oct 2024
"We had a really nice stay overall. The place was spotless and comfortable, but the narrow single beds werent everyone's favourite - they seemed more suited for kids. Still, we enjoyed it and appreciated the cleanliness. Thanks a lot!"
Emma B. - Oct 2024
"We stayed at this caravan and honestly, it was spotless and super comfy. The teams small gestures like tea, coffee and drinks in the fridge made all the difference. Lovely touch!"
James - Sep 2024
"Great place, would definitely return"
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the hot tub was fantastic!"
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"Really liked the overall service, but a shelf would be handy."
James Carter - Sep 2024
"Great setup, very comfortable stay"
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"We recently stayed at Green Hill Holiday Village and honestly, its a gem if you're after a peaceful retreat in the New Forest. The cleanliness of the accommodation really stood out-spotless and well-maintained, which is super important to us. The place is quiet, perfect for unwinding and the staff are lovely; they give you your space but are always happy to help if needed. We didnt get round to trying the ranger activities, but the on-site fishing was fantastic-caught some lovely fish! Now, the restaurant might be small, but the food more than makes up for it. The pizza was incredible, especially with honey on top-dont dismiss it until youve tried it, its a game-changer! The location strikes a nice balance-far enough out to feel like youre really getting away from everything, but still close enough to explore the local sights. Theres even a gate straight into the forest, which is perfect for walks. Just a heads-up, if you go alone, make sure to remember your location because I got a bit lost once and it was quite an adventure! Luckily, the staff couldnt have been more supportive-they sorted a new key for our lodge and even helped search for my lost bag when I misplaced it in the dark. My highlight? Waking up early to see a stag just outside the lodge, bathed in sunrise light-absolutely breathtaking. If youre thinking of a break in the New Forest, Green Hill is definitely worth considering!"
Emily - Sep 2024
"We stayed at The Snug for a little escape and honestly, its a cracking spot. Perfect for a cosy night in but still close enough to town if you fancy going out for a bite. The place has everything you need, even a tiny dishwasher which was a nice touch. The facilities are spot on, with lots of thoughtful little details that made our stay really comfortable. The hot tub was a bit disappointing, covered in limescale, but it didnt ruin the trip. Parking was a bit tricky-only four spaces and someone had two cars so we had to park on the verge. Still, wed definitely come back!"
Alex - Sep 2024
"The place was spotless and well-equipped in the kitchen, making cooking easy. Bedding was really nice too. Might be a bit cramped for eight, though."
Emily - Sep 2024
"We stayed in this caravan recently and honestly, it was pretty much spot on. It had everything we needed and the fixtures and furniture looked almost brand new, well cared for. The only tiny gripe was some dusting missed in the living room and bedroom, but it wasn't a big deal at all. The double bed mattress was a bit bouncy and springy, definitely in need of an upgrade, which was a bit odd since the twin beds had thick, good-quality mattresses. We slept fine, though, despite back issues. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend it for sure!"
Emma - Sep 2024
"Overall, everything was pretty much spot on! Maybe just add a couple of pillow options like thin and thick ones - would be the cherry on top! Definitely recommend though."
Sam - Sep 2024
"We stayed at this lodge and found it really cosy and well-kept. The beds were super comfy and it had everything we needed for a relaxing break!"
Emma Roberts - Aug 2024
"Really enjoyed the stay! The deck was perfect, big and secure so our dog could roam freely. Lovely place!"
Emma - Aug 2024
"We stayed for a week, didnt buy a lodge, but had a lovely holiday experience."
Emma - Aug 2024
"We had a fantastic stay at Green Hills! The location is just breathtaking, with lush green hills everywhere. The staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our lodge was spotless, comfy and well stocked. Theres so much to explore nearby, were already planning our return. Cant wait!"
Emma - Aug 2024
"The hut was super roomy with all the essentials and a lovely hot tub. We loved the privacy and stunning views - perfect for a relaxing getaway! Definitely recommend it."
Emma - Aug 2024
"Absolutely thrilled with it! Even better in real life than online photos. Great size."
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"Really enjoyed the experience"
George - Aug 2024
"Absolutely loved staying here! The chalet was spotless, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. Cant wait to come back!"
Emma - Aug 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was spotless, comfy and had everything we needed. On-site shop was handy too."
Sam - Jul 2024
"Good value, especially considering the season and cost."
Emily Carter - Jun 2024
"Great spot, can't wait to come back!"
Emma Carter - Jun 2024
"The towels could be a bit bigger, honestly. The bed in the master was quite small - Im 5ft 10 and my feet kept hanging out! Also, the food and drinks on-site close early on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which isnt great if youre there Monday to Friday. Fix those stuff and itd be a five-star place!"
Jamie - Jun 2024
"We had a really lovely stay here. The accommodation was spacious, with a big fridge freezer that came in handy and the bathroom was large with plenty of hot water for all five of us. The heaters worked perfectly, taking the chill off in the mornings, which was great. The kids were especially taken with the snug and the den downstairs - they loved having their own little space. The only downside was the oven; its pretty small and part of the log burner in the lounge, so when the weather was nice, we didnt bother using it. We were glad we brought our BBQ instead. The hot tub was a fun feature and we appreciated that its woodburning and you can collect free logs. Controlling the temperature was a bit tricky - it was either too hot or not hot enough - but overall, it was a fantastic trip and wed definitely return!"
Emma Thompson - Jun 2024
