"Will be back next year"

"As said before, the caravan needs a lot of TLC. Radiators need a lick of paint as all rusty, seltaped remote. Stain on sheets, missing knives. Lots of wear and tear to the actual caravan which make it such a shame."

"We spent a fantastic week here with our two little dachshunds and they had a great time making friends in Thaxted. The cottage itself is charming and the hot tub was definitely a highlight-especially during the scorching days when the cooled water felt so refreshing. The hosts were lovely and really welcoming; it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields every day. Being close to the Stansted flight path was interesting to watch the planes land. Overall, wed happily recommend for a relaxing getaway. Will be back!"

"We had a fantastic stay! The house was super well equipped and kept us cosy on that rainy December day. The bath was really lovely and the shower was big enough for a proper rinse. The location is perfect for dogs that hate fireworks - so peaceful and away from noise. The place is beautifully converted and truly charming. Thanks a lot for a lovely break!"

"We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners were super friendly and helpful without being overbearing, which we appreciated. The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around safely. The place had everything we needed in the kitchen and the hot tub was a real treat! Weve already told our friends about it and would love to come back someday. Thanks for a lovely break!"

The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling - so relaxing! A little thing to note is the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us too much once we got used to it, but its worth mentioning if youre sensitive to noise. All in all, wed definitely come back."

"We stayed at this charming cottage on a working farm and loved how private it was. Robert and Sharon are such lovely hosts, really friendly and welcoming. The place itself is super spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that made us feel right at home. The garden is fantastic-completely secluded, dog-proof and with nice furniture for relaxing outside. There are lots of walks nearby and some great restaurants in Thaxted, like The Star and The Maypole. Wed definitely recommend it!"

"We had a great time exploring Dorset from this spot. The location is perfect for getting around and seeing the sights. The park itself is spotless and the staff always go out of their way to help. The only thing is, theres a bit of noise from the A31, which didnt bother us but might be an issue for those after total silence. Facilities are a bit limited on-site, but we appreciated the passes to the nearby site with swimming pools, a bar and food. Our 3-bed caravan was spacious enough for four adults and two kids. It was very clean, though the furniture wasnt the most comfy, but wed definitely come back!"

"We really appreciated how tidy and modern the caravan was-definitely the cleanest site we've been to! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the cycle through the woods to reach the main area with the pool and facilities. Only downside was the constant road noise at the back, which made sleeping a bit tricky, especially late at night."

"We had a really good stay here, honestly. The site was peaceful and kept nice, with clear signs and friendly staff who were happy to help. The location of our caravan was spot on, super clean, warm and cosy. We loved that there were two parking spaces right next to the caravan-such a relief! The hot tub was spotless and at just the right temperature, which made evenings really relaxing. The best part? Check-in was contactless and our caravan was ready a good two hours before the scheduled time, so we missed the rain while unloading-winning! Overall, we had a fantastic week and will definitely come back, hopefully to the same caravan again."

"We recently stayed in one of your caravans and honestly, it was quite a lovely experience. The staff really went out of their way to help us out, which we appreciated. The location is fantastic - close enough to loads of attractions but far enough that it wasnt too busy all the time. We enjoyed the peaceful walk through the woods when we crossed over to the main site. All in all, a really nice place to stay and wed definitely come back!"

"We enjoyed our holiday very much, our van was clean & of a good standard, the park is very clean, not very large but the sister site is close by for swimming & entertainment. There are a couple of dog friendly pubs which do good food nearby. This site is quiet & just outside the entrance is forest which is great for dog walking which our dog loved. We would definitely return to this site to see more of Hampshire."

"Back from a lovely weekend break at Forest Edge. Very small site but use of Oakdene facilities. The site was very very clean and with just my husband and our dog perfect location for forest walks. Would recommend and will stay again"
