"Our Thurston Manor review: The lodge was boiling , you could not turn the raidiators off , there was a hole in one of the room walls (look like it had been punched) it was very dusty and did not look clean, windows were drippy fall of cobwebs and dirt"

"The duvets on the bed were not big enough and due to this reason it became cold on an evening. The location of the boiler was not ideal and was very noisy during the night and distrub the sleep of our young child so therefore we had to switch this off after the first night.The options of blinds inthe bedrooms would also be an great added touch as the curtains were very thin and let alot of light in"

"We had a great holiday for Easter break at Thurston Manor. Our caravan was clean and had everything we needed, the wifi in the van worked great. The only thing which would have been nice to have would have been a wee brush to keep the floor clean as a week stay with two children comes with some mess and no way to clean up. Also as the week went on the machines in the arcade kept breaking down and werent repaired during our stay. Would still return as pool is great, location is brilliant and the entertainment was fantastic. Staff were superb ????????"

"Unlike all my previous stays in similar places there is no Iron, clothesline or dishwasher.The soap and shampoo are just for one person and there were 6 of us and the caravan was for 6 adults."

"We had a really lovely stay at this cosy little park. The caravan was spotless, with nice touches like towels, tea and coffee. The courtesy car was a real lifesaver since we were stuck at the bottom of a steep hill. Definitely recommend!"

"We didnt end up using it, but the place looked spotless and lovely when we arrived. Sadly, our caravan was missing a bedroom TV, so they sorted us out with something else."

"I spent a week in the caravan and found it very comfortable, warm and cosy, well equipped with good quality kitchen and dining utensils. Lovely fluffy white towels, comfortable beds. Highly recommend."

"We had a fantastic stay at the park! Ivy was spotless, super comfy and cosy. Even in December, it stayed warm. The sports facilities are top-notch-definitely coming back! Highly recommend!"

"We found the place really comfy and well kitted out, with a separate fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Modern digital TVs and reliable Wi-Fi made it feel homey. The only downside was its a 6-person unit but seating for just 5 in the living area, which isn't ideal for six adults. Also, its a bit of a trek up a steep hill to the main facilities, but it didnt bother us much."

"Good accommodation and very well equipped with separate fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine etcModern digital TVs and wi fi in the unit.Only gripe would be its a 6 birth unit but only seating for 5 in living area so not great if 6 adults sharing.Unit is a distance from the main facilities up a steep hill so something to consider but wasnt an issue for us."

"We had a lovely stay at Thruston Manor, the caravans were really nice and comfy. The pool was decent, but it was a shame that most of the other stuff like the jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and showers werent working. Still, wed definitely return!"

"We found the caravan to be quite lovely, much nicer than we thought from the photos. Given the current restrictions, like the pool being off-limits, we do think the price could be a bit lower for now. Its a really beautiful spot, but some improvements could make it even better during peak times."

"We stayed in Lakeside 59, a 3-bedroom lodge. The lodge was clean, spacious and sufficiently equipped for a holiday stay. A little sparse on cutlery but we could live with that. We had wifi but the connection wasn’t great.
The few queries we had were dealt with swiftly by the staff, whom we found to be very friendly and helpful. As we’re the many semi-permanent residents we encountered in The Glen ?.
The swimming pool was a big hit with our granddaughter, as we’re the organised activities for children.
The shop is well-stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely consider going back."

"Beautiful surroundings. We was down in the Glen in lodges. Beautiful location. Very clean. Not a blade of grass out of place. Wonderful stay. Lovely food in restaurant and a wonderful bar manager. Overall 10/10."

"Great little park , close to beaches. Play park and swimming pool great too for kids. Restaurant and bar good value for money too. Shop on site is very handy with everything you need. Very helpful friendly staff."
