Nodes Point Reviews

"Really enjoyed the stay here! The cottage was cosy and perfect for some peace and quiet. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. Just a heads up about the planes, mostly at night."

"We just got back from a four-night stay at this charming cottage and honestly, we had a great time. The owners were super friendly but never intrusive, which we really appreciated. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The cottage had everything we needed, including a lovely hot tub that we used every evening. Well definitely come back and have already told friends about it. Thanks for a wonderful break!"

"The owners were super friendly and really helpful when the storm knocked out the power. The place was spotless, warm and well-equipped. Our dog loved the enclosed yard and we definitely enjoyed the hot tub! Lovely stay!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead. The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right from the doorstep were perfect. The owners were genuinely lovely and made us feel very welcome. Brilliant trip!"

"Our Nodes Point review: The cottage was really charming and perfect for a peaceful escape. Just a heads up, its close to Stanstead, so planes can be heard mostly at night. Hot tub was a hit! Definitely recommend."

"Had a lovely weekend here, definitely recommend it for a peaceful anniversary retreat. Everything was just right."

"Such a lovely spot, really relaxing and the Jacuzzi was fantastic!"

"We had a really lovely stay! Sharon and Robert were such friendly hosts, making us feel right at home. The place was spotless, comfy and perfect for our dog Archie - we appreciated the security. The location was spot on, with plenty of nice walks nearby and Thaxted and the surrounding villages are absolutely charming. By the end of the week, we felt totally recharged and relaxed - a proper little escape!"

"We really enjoyed our visit, the surroundings were lovely and walking with the dogs was perfect. Would come back!"

"We had a fantastic weekend stay here! Everything truly met our expectations and were already planning to return. The pups had a great time, especially with the underfloor heating and the garden-Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but she was loving every minute! Definitely a place wed recommend for a fun getaway with your furry friends."

"We stayed in the caravan which had all the essentials, though oven gloves would have been handy. We lost power for a few hours on our last day, which was a bit frustrating, especially since we chose not to venture out because of the weather. Luckily, it came back just in time, saving us from a real hassle. We did have to pop to reception for some help with a babys bottle, but they were quite helpful."

"We had such a great time at Nodes Point! Honestly, its probably the nicest Parkdean weve stayed at over the years. The lodge felt really cosy, like a proper home from home and being so close to the beach was a huge hit with the grandkids. The staff were fantastic-cheerful, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We're definitely coming back next year!"

"Beautiful place, super quiet and perfect for unwinding. Our dog loved the fully enclosed garden!"

"Really cosy place, felt like home."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead! The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right outside were perfect. The hosts were genuinely friendly and made us feel so welcome. Lovely experience!"

"We had a really lovely stay at this place. The setting is so peaceful and private, yet the owners are super friendly and always there if you need anything. The hot tub was a real highlight after cycling all day, honestly! Only thing to note is that the cottage is right under the flight path at Stansted, so there's quite a bit of noise from aircraft. It didnt bother us too much after a while, but if you're sensitive to noise, its worth considering. Overall, a great spot to unwind!"

"Really enjoyed our stay, staff were friendly and helpful."

"We had an amazing stay! The cottage was so cosy with the log burner and the hot tub was just perfect after a day exploring. The hosts were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Its such a peaceful spot, ideal for a mini break. Were already planning to come back for longer next time!"

"We loved the cosy log burner and the hot tub was a real treat. The hosts were lovely, super welcoming and the peaceful setting was perfect for us. Hope to stay longer next time!"

"We really enjoyed our stay! The caravan had everything we needed, especially loved the central island in the kitchen. The single beds were just right and the double room with ensuite was a lovely bonus. Definitely would come back again!"

"We had an amazing weekend here! The place was just what we needed and were already planning to return. Our dogs were totally in their element, especially with the underfloor heating - they loved it! The garden was a hit too. Lunas wagging tail got a bit strained, but shes fine. Happy pups, happy us! Definitely recommend!"

"We loved the relaxed vibe and the dogs had a blast exploring all the fields! Definitely recommend."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The chalet was spotless and looked after really well, which was great. The only hiccup was the limited kitchen stuff-meant we couldnt cook our usual meals and had to opt for ready meals instead, which was a bit of a pain. The swimming pool and slides were open, but sadly no changing or toilet facilities due to restrictions, so walking back in swimwear in the rain was pretty chilly-definitely bring a dressing gown! The arcade was a fun highlight and the staff were genuinely lovely throughout our visit, making everything even better!"

"Really enjoyed the calm vibe, Jacuzzi was a proper treat! Will return."

"Really enjoyed the lovely setting and walking with the dogs through all the open fields was great!"

"We loved the cosy log burner and the hot tub was a real treat. The hosts were so friendly, really made us feel at home. Hope to come back soon!"

"We honestly had one of the best holidays we've ever had! The lodge was absolutely lovely and super cosy. We're already trying to save up for next year because we really want to stay in the same one again-its perfect for our 60th wedding anniversary in June. Itd be a lovely way to celebrate such a milestone. The staff on-site are genuinely lovely; one of them even remembered us from last year when we stayed in a touring van. The whole site is so well looked after, which we really appreciate. Ive known the place for years because a relative of mine started it ages ago and I grew up nearby in St Helens, so its quite special to us. Honestly, I just hope they dont stop doing camping, as lots of my family still use it. 10/10 all round, keep up the great work, well be back next year!"

"We had a pretty great stay overall, but a couple of things did bug us. First off, the location of our caravan was spot on - really convenient and peaceful. The fixtures, furniture and everything inside were of good quality, so no complaints there. However, the electricity went out on the Wednesday morning, which was a bit frustrating. I reported it to reception at 9 am since we were heading out for the day and honestly, we had no idea when it would be fixed. When we got back around 4:30 pm, the power still hadnt come back on. I went straight back to reception and they said it should be back around noon. Since wed been out all day, I asked if someone could check it the next day, especially since we had freezer stuff worth about £100 that would spoil if it stayed off. I really think the staff should have made sure the electricity was back on before we returned, because I ended up having to throw everything away. I did report this, but they didnt offer any apology or compensation, which was a bit disappointing. The rest of the holiday was fantastic, though. Oh and when we first arrived and picked up the keys, someone from reception came by an hour later, just to check if everything was okay. Its a shame that didnt happen when the electricity was out - no one checked in with us or followed up. Still, overall, we had a lovely break!"

"We had such a lovely stay at this place! The setting is really peaceful and private, perfect for escaping the hustle. The owners were super friendly and always there if we needed anything, but it still felt secluded. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day cycling. Only thing to mention is the noise from planes overhead since its right under the flight path, but we got used to it pretty quickly. It didnt ruin our trip at all, just something to keep in mind. Definitely recommend!"

"Really enjoyed our stay, the cottage had everything needed."

"The best place ever"

"we have been coming to the island for years and this has been the best time we have had, The staff were amazing, the pool and life guards were great, the kids loved it when the life guard squirted them with the hose.
To be able to walk to a beach on site and also have priory Bay in walking distance was a massive highlight for me, I've already been sending people links for Nodes point and will definitely be booking for next year.
Hearing all their laughter and seeing my kids faces light up and be so happy and relaxed was the cherry on the cake for both my husband and I.

we've done nothing but talk about it..
Thank you for the wonderful happy memories"

"Lovely camp, beautiful caravans"

"Entertainment & pub were top notch"

"We had a very enjoyable experience with the facilities and friendliness of staff. The only downside was in the availability of food in the restaurant. For a seaside resort to not have fish and chips available all week is not good. Also by wednesday the scampi had run out and there were no Pizzas available after the first night for the rest of the week. I had plenty of choice but my two muslim refugees can only eat Halal meat so without fish or pizzas there was very little choice on the menu for them. Surely in the 21st century there could be at least one Halal option. The table ordering did not work and with only 1 member of staff taking orders and getting drinks the queues were long and slow."

"Beautiful place. Well worth a visit. Lovely staff"

"Lovely location lovely friendly staff chalet could've been a bit cleaner on arrival but overall a great stay and will come back again as have before ?"

"Best holiday ever, 1st time to the Isle of white and was not disappointed. The park is amazing with fantastic views and amazing staff. The lodge was spotless with everything you need. The food on site is great value for money and tastes great. We loved it that much we plan to book again for even longer."
