"We had such a lovely stay here! The owners are genuinely friendly and super helpful, making us feel really welcomed. The cottage itself is adorable, with charming timber framing and a cosy vibe. The shower was powerful and the bed was so comfy we didnt want to get up! Parking right next to the door was a real bonus. Its well heated, spotless and perfect for exploring the local area, especially those beautiful walks to Thaxted. Wed definitely come back!"

"We recently stayed at this cosy lodge and honestly, it was quite a find. The hot tub was spot on, set at the perfect 40 degrees and we loved relaxing in it. The place had all the essentials, including a washing machine and dryer - though we didnt use them, its handy to know theyre there. Every room had its own TV, which was a nice touch. The location was pretty convenient, with a pub just a short walk away. We tried the Sunday lunch but felt it was a bit off - probably because of Mothers Day rush or trying to do too much. The food that arrived looked decent, though. Closer than the pub, theres a kebab and pizza shop that we honestly think is the best weve had in ages - tasted proper lamb! Theres also a chippy and a Spar nearby. A couple of minor things: you can see into the lodge opposite from the lounge and the hot tub could do with a blind on the patio doors. The noise from the main road isnt too bad, especially when in the hot tub, as the hedge is growing to block it out. The kitchen could do with a jug and a wooden spoon, but wed definitely come back!"
