"Wow, what a fantastic stay we had at the Boxing Hares Lodge! Honestly, it went way beyond what we were expecting. The place just oozes luxury but also feels so homely, like a proper retreat. It really made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived. The layout is perfect for two couples because each bedroom is a mirror image with its own shower room or bathroom, so no one feels cramped. We were lucky enough to have the entire lodge to ourselves, giving us plenty of space, including a dressing area and the super comfy beds. The spa bath was a lovely treat after long walks and the shower pressure was spot on - always warm, which is a big plus. The heating system was easy to control and kept us cosy during those chilly winter evenings, thanks to the boiler. The kitchen was a delight - fully equipped with a proper full-size dishwasher (not one of those tiny ones you sometimes get) and a washing machine/dryer, which came in really handy after our walk in the squirrel woods. The design of the lounge area was perfect, with the sofa set facing out onto the site, so we could sit back and enjoy the views. Weve stayed in quite a few high-end lodges with hot tubs and I have to say, this was the best hot tub experience weve had so far - really memorable! Plus, little touches like thoughtful lighting, excellent WiFi for movie nights and the secure electric gate made us feel so relaxed and safe. Were so grateful to have found this place; it really made our holiday special. Thanks a lot for creating such a comfortable and luxurious space for us - well definitely be back!"

"Honestly, weve stayed in quite a few lodges over the years, but this one really stood out. The view over the countryside is stunning and, thanks to its perfect spot, you dont see any other lodges around, which makes it feel super secluded - like your own little world. The lodge had everything we could possibly need and more; its well stocked and thoughtfully set up. We barely left the place except for food shopping! The rooms are a good size and the living space is really comfortable. Every room has a large smart TV, so streaming was a breeze and the Wi-Fi was consistently reliable - never a problem. What made it even more special was the attention to detail - it genuinely feels homely. The hot tub was the highlight, massive and perfect for relaxing after a day out. Wed definitely come back and highly recommend it to others!"

"On arrival Wayne was extremely helpful and informative. The lodge was spotless and even smelt clean. It was equipped with pretty much everything you could need and was presented immaculately. If I was being hyper critical I would say that the sofa's could be more comfortable and that one more side table to rest your drink on would be a good idea. Again being hyper critical, the loungers could be more comfortable, maybe some pads would solve the issue. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Henfields. We'll be back, that's for sure."

"We had a fabulous time at Henfields Country Retreat. We stayed in the Rabbit Warren which had everything we needed and was very clean. The Lodge had it's only little secluded garden, which was lovely for relaxing. The lodge was a ten minute walk to the local village where you could go to the local pub for a drink or a meal. Also, we tried the local Indian Restaurant which provided good food. We will definitely book again as there was lots to do in the area and we could not fit it all in, therefore still plenty to do on our next visit. The owners where very helpful and made sure we were happy."

"A very neat and tidy lodge and we could not fault it. It was one of the better lodges we have stayed in with plenty of room. The outside decking was roomy with a hot tub and they had also made a space where you could place a disposable bbq if you wanted one. We were greeted by the owners who showed us the lodge and explained where everything was. There was also a lovely welcoming pack that was a nice touch."
