"We had such a lovely stay at this cosy place, tucked away in a really peaceful spot. The owners were super friendly and always happy to help if needed, but it still felt private and quiet. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling, definitely a highlight! Just a heads up, its right under Stansted's flight path, so theres quite a bit of noise from the planes. Took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but it didnt ruin our break at all. Would definitely recommend it!"

"Weve stayed in some budget places before, but honestly, this one beats them all. The hot tubs fired by wood were fantastic and having peacocks wandering around while relaxing with a drink was such a quirky touch. The kitchenette only had a microwave, so cooking when the weather was bad wouldve been a hassle, but luckily, the weather was nice enough for us to use the BBQ. The hosts really looked after us and made everything feel special. Wed definitely recommend Apple Mount to anyone looking for a cosy getaway!"

The place is really spacious and the kitchen and bathroom are well-equipped - made cooking and getting ready feel easy. The bed was super comfy and the garden, dog-proof and secluded, had nice furniture for relaxing outside. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted's restaurants, like The Star and The Maypole, are worth a visit. Wed definitely recommend it!"
