Tummel Valley Reviews

"The caravan had everything I needed. It did need a bit of an improvement in certain areas. But the caravan was in a great area."
Julie - May 2025
"We stayed at the lodge recently and overall it was decent. Graham at reception was really friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble for him. The burger on our first day was a letdown-the bun was burnt to a crisp, so we ended up eating out for the rest of the week. Even the barman, Mr Goth, couldnt quite get a decent cappuccino right. The Wi-Fi was non-existent in the lodge, which was a bit disappointing, but hopefully next time its sorted!"
Mark - Mar 2025
"Lodge was lovely and big and clean and warm, definitely value for money and used tesco vouchers. It is basic no frills but perfect with children less to worry about.Patio decking great outdoor space.Maybe some cushions?"
Sharon and Donald - Mar 2025
"We stayed at the lodge and really enjoyed it. Spacious, spotless and cosy-great value especially using Tesco vouchers. Its pretty simple but ideal with kids; less fuss. The outdoor decking is a lovely touch, maybe some cushions would be nice though!"
Emma and Lucy - Mar 2025

Verified Guest - Feb 2025
"We had an amazing time at the lodge near Loch Tummel. The views are stunning and its so peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The walks with the dog were fantastic. The lodge itself is really well equipped - washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, big fridge and freezer. Definitely worth a visit!"
Alexandra Hughes - Feb 2025
"Very relaxing just a couple of things wrong but didnt ruin our time"
Peter - Nov 2024
"Overall, we had a lovely time despite a few minor hiccups."
James - Nov 2024
"Never again"
Pauline - Oct 2024
"The caravan was pretty decent overall, though we did face some hiccups with the lighting and struggled a bit to get the heating going. We had to bring our own towels, which was a bit of an inconvenience. Outside, it was a tad messy, but hey, its expected in a forest area, isnt it?"
Oliver - Sep 2024
"apart from the issues with the lights and not being able to work the heating the caravan was quite good , we had to supply our own towels and things out side of van was a bit untidy but that was to be expected as we were in the forrest area"
Terence - Sep 2024
"Great vibe, really enjoyed the whole experience."
Lisa - Sep 2024
"The forest trails are quite a trek to reach from the park, needing a drive each time we want to walk the dogs there. Not ideal for quick trips at all."
Jamie - Sep 2024
"Poor access to forest trails directly from the caravan park area.To go to the forest with the dogs, you need to drive a few miles by car."
Konrad - Sep 2024
"We stay in 1 of the river side Lodges it was beautiful washing machine tumble dryer. Beautiful view"
Michelle - Aug 2024
"We stayed here recently and honestly, the location is stunning, with gorgeous views and a lovely surrounding area. Sadly, the accommodation didn't quite live up to expectations - it needed a proper deep clean and some of the facilities were faulty, like the bedroom TV not working and the main TV being pretty outdated. The cooker was also a bit temperamental. We found it tricky to keep our 16, 13 and 8-year-olds entertained, especially the older one, since it wasnt really geared towards teens. That said, were still keen to come back for a long weekend sometime!"
Emily - Aug 2024
"The location and surrounding were beautiful I felt that the accommodation let us down due to requiring a deep clean and also ensuring all of the advertised facilities available eg tv on bedroom not functioning also old dated main tv and cooker (oven) didnt work properly! However the view and surrounding were superb found entertaining 16,13 and 8 year old difficult not really catered for 16 year old but would love to come back for a stay long weekend next"
Suzanne - Aug 2024
"Broken glass and remote was snapped when arrived. Other than that it was the perfect caravan for us"
Stewart - Aug 2024
"To pricey for food and drinks and totally made a mistake with the bot box bingo wont be using parkdean resorts bar entrainment or restaurant"
Dawn - May 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, everything was spotless and super cosy too!"
Harriet - Mar 2024
"We had a fantastic week here! The staff were really friendly and helpful, making everything so easy. Very relaxing and wed definitely return without hesitation."
David - Feb 2024
"We booked a larch caravan mainly because it had a washer and dryer, but sadly, when we got there, the washer was out of order and there was no replacement available. Had to queue up at reception to get money for the laundrette on site, which was a bit of a hassle, definitely not as easy as having one in the caravan. The restaurant on our last night was a bit disappointing too - lots of dishes werent available and we were told it was because of low season. However, they knew how many vans were booked on Monday, so it seems lazy not to stock enough food. Honestly, were not in a rush to return."
Sam - Nov 2023
"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Just a bit surprised there was no washing up liquid or scourer included, but everything else was spot on."
Alex - May 2023
"The park is absolutely stunning, kept spotless and set in such a lovely spot. The staff are really friendly and always willing to help. Loads to explore nearby, though theres no on-site entertainment, which was a bit of a letdown."
Sarah - Aug 2020
"We had a fantastic stay! The caravan was spotless and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfy and the shower was excellent. The central heating came in handy on a chilly morning. The site was well maintained and looked after. We dined at the restaurant once-delicious food with good portion sizes, ordered easily via the app. Our son loved the play park, though he was a bit disappointed the pool was closed, but we understood it was due to Covid. Lovely location with stunning countryside, rivers, lochs and mountains all around. Would definitely come back!"
Harper - Aug 2020
"We really enjoyed the food here - it was top notch! The place was a bit chilly in the evening because of the open doors, but understandable given the current situation. The rooms were spacious, though a bit tired and in need of some sprucing up. Still, a nice spot overall."
Luke - Jul 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay, lovely atmosphere and comfy caravan."
Linda - Mar 2020
"Such a lovely spot! The caravan was cosy, the pool was great and the setting was really beautiful. Definitely recommend!"
Rachel - Oct 2019
