"We had such a great time! The lodge by the river was perfect-serene and stunning. Everything we needed was there, plus a lovely welcome pack. Relaxing in the hot tub with that view was definitely the cherry on top. Can't wait to return; it was just what we needed for some proper R&R!"

"We had such a cosy stay here! The location is stunning, especially the drive to Fort Augustus - really breathtaking scenery. The lodge might be a bit on the small side compared to others, but the beds were super comfy and we appreciated the extra touches like the bed linen, towels and kitchen supplies. Its rare to find a place with everything from washing up liquid to oven gloves included, so that was a real bonus. The sofa was lovely to sink into after a day out, especially with the view from the window. Water pressure and temperature were spot on, which is always a plus. The bath was a bit bouncy when standing in the shower if youre a bigger person like me, but thats personal really. Loved that they refresh the hot tub for each guest - very thoughtful. We grabbed some food on the way, but forgot bread, though we found some at the petrol station in Fort Augustus - bit pricey. Definitely dont miss the Falls of Foyers, just a quick 10-minute drive, but watch out for kamikaze grouse! The pub up the hill is a lovely spot with great food, just a couple of minutes walk. Would come back for sure!"

"The lodge was stunning, super clean and had everything we needed. The WiFi and phone signal were pretty weak unless we headed near the hot tub, but honestly, it didnt ruin our stay. The view was amazing and it felt so private, loved it!"

"We stayed at Glen Mhor Lodge recently and honestly, it was lovely. The place was spotless when we arrived and the hot tub was kept really clean, checked daily which was great. The inside felt spacious enough for us, our dog and all our stuff. The beds were super comfy, so we had some really good sleeps. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, which made things so much easier. Also, the welcome pack was a sweet touch. Outside, the grounds were gorgeous - perfect for the dog to chill out and watch the birds. If I had to pick a tiny downside, the lounge chairs werent the most comfy, but cushions sorted that. Wed definitely come back!"

"During our stay, we noticed the bath was quite difficult to drain and the sink was the same. We had to use our hands as a makeshift plunger to clear the bath a bit. The four-slice toaster only worked on the left side, but other than that, the place was tidy and had all we needed. Not perfect, but okay."

"We recently spent a couple of nights at this lovely place and honestly, we had a really enjoyable time! Our lodge was the Red Deer Tomatin, positioned at the front, offering incredible views of the mountains, the river flowing just outside and what might be the most secluded hot tub weve ever seen - total privacy, which was a real bonus. The interior had a cosy, Scottish vibe that made us feel right at home. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was beautifully done. We especially loved the living area; it had a charming feel that made relaxing easy. Upon arrival, we were greeted with some shortbread and a tiny whisky on our table - such a sweet touch! The log burner was fantastic too; we actually wished it was cold enough to light it up, it looked so inviting. Outside, we were lucky enough to spot some deer wandering about, which was truly spectacular. Theres a handy little book in the lodge filled with ideas for things to do, which we found really useful. It definitely made us wish we could stay longer! We took a lovely walk to the Falls of Foyers from the site, returning by the same route and it was a great way to see more of the Highlands up close. If youre into walking and soaking in stunning scenery, wed highly recommend it. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean, well-stocked with cutlery, glasses and all the essentials like an oven and microwave. Each morning, a friendly guy checks in on the hot tub briefly - hes polite and doesnt disturb, which we appreciated. Its nice to see them maintaining high hygiene standards without being intrusive.The only quirks were the reception situation and Wi-Fi. When we arrived on Friday night, there was no one around-our keys were left in a pocket outside the reception building. Similarly, on the Sunday when we checked out, no staff were there, so we werent entirely sure where to leave our keys. The Wi-Fi was pretty much non-existent unless you were near the reception, which we only realised the next day. In todays world, reliable Wi-Fi in all lodges seems pretty essential, especially if you want to check in with loved ones or in case of emergencies. Not having that access definitely felt a bit limiting, even if it adds to the remote Highl and experience.Overall, wed absolutely return - this spot is one of the most stunning little places weve visited, with loads of activities and beautiful scenery. We really wish wed stayed longer because its such a peaceful retreat and perfect for unwinding. Cant recommend it enough!"
