Loch Ness Highland Resort Reviews

"The cabin was spotless and well-equipped, making our holiday really comfortable. We loved exploring the stunning surroundings too!"
Sam - Mar 2025
"Great value since its off-season. Would happily come back and recommend to others!"
Sam - Mar 2025
"Comfortable stay, just a slight upgrade needed."
Sarah - Feb 2025
"Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with our stay. The manager was nice enough, but the place was just filthy. The dust was thick everywhere, even the manager agreed it was really bad. We found a pair of dirty socks on top of one unit and the rusty water coming from the bath radiator fittings was gross. The extractor fans were coated in dust and there was mould in both showers. The inside of the teapot was rusty and the frying pans looked like theyd been through hell-burnt food on one, grease on the other. We paid a good amount for February, so it was quite a letdown."
Emma Carter - Feb 2025
"Our Loch Ness Highland Resort review: Very welcoming and comfortable stay!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect for exploring nearby spots and the lodges are cosy and well-designed. Thanks for a lovely time!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"Great family stay, definitely planning to come back next year."
James - Oct 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay here"
Emma - Sep 2024
"The on-site cafe and bar are closed from Monday to Thursday, which was a bit of a letdown. The pod looks bigger than it really is and while its generally tidy, I noticed dust in the corners and some cobwebs. The toilet seat kept moving, which was annoying. Didnt bother complaining at the time, so no fix. Overall, a bit disappointed."
Emma Clarke - Sep 2024
"Nice enough stay, though we didn't go for the lodge option ourselves."
Emma - Sep 2024
"We stayed at the new lodge and it was just right for our family of four. The main bedroom's en suite was really handy. Unexpectedly, towels were provided too!"
Claire - Aug 2024
"Really loved the vibe, feels like a fresh new place."
Jamie - Aug 2024
"Great spot overall, but WiFi is a real letdown these days. Pod 5 could use a bit more attention to cleaning, especially the bedsheets. Still, we enjoyed it!"
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"We had such a lovely stay at this place! Booked a cosy glamping pod for our family - myself, my partner and our two little ones. The pod was spotless and felt really homely. It was a bonus to find a fridge, toaster and microwave included. There's a big grassy area right behind the pod, which the kids absolutely loved running around in - they had a proper blast. Just a short walk away, there's a really well-equipped park, perfect for the kids to burn off some energy. We didnt use the laundry facilities, but its handy to know theyre available. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant on our last night and Anna was fantastic - so friendly and patient with the kids. She even let them draw on the chalkboard while we waited for our food. The portions were huge and the meal was delicious. Definitely a place well be coming back to!"
Emma - Jul 2024
"This lodge looks stunning and feels really spacious inside. If we ever decide to buy on site, this would definitely be our pick. Its got everything youd want for a comfy home from home, plus in a great spot too!"
Emma - Jul 2024
"Couldnt connect to WiFi at all."
Emma Carter - Jun 2024
"Really pleased with the pod, plenty of space inside for everything and the views from it are absolutely stunning. Love it!"
Mark - Jun 2024
"Had a lovely weekend away with my partner. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Our room was super comfy, spotless and felt really cosy. The hot tub was a dream-spotless and so relaxing. Grounds were beautifully kept, really impressed. We'd definitely come back!"
David - May 2024
"Great spot with a tidy cabin and perfect base for exploring locally."
Oliver - May 2024
"Overall, we had a lovely stay. The design is really charming and the hot tub was a definite highlight, especially with those amazing views. Some areas looked a bit tired and could do with a freshen-up, but we think its probably still a work in progress before high season. Wed definitely return for another relaxing break!"
James - Apr 2024
"Really enjoyed the experience"
Emily Carter - Apr 2024
"Really hopeful about the new management. Fingers crossed they can develop this area more, its got potential!"
James - Apr 2024
"Comfortable stay, would recommend it."
George - Apr 2024
"We just stayed for two nights and honestly, it was fantastic. The lodge was roomy and stunning. Loved the hot tub, especially since it was so private with the fencing. Brilliant stay!"
Emma - Jan 2024
"We had a brilliant weekend here! The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. They even let us check in early, which was great. The hot tub was spotless and everything was explained clearly. Definitely recommend it!"
Oliver - Jan 2024
"Really enjoyed staying here, honestly. The lodge was spotless, which we loved. Location is spot on, easy to reach everywhere we wanted to go. Plus, the price was just right, not too expensive at all. Definitely a great find for us. Would stay again without hesitation!"
Alex - Jan 2024
"We decided to go away last minute for New Years and managed to find a cracking deal on a place with a hot tub. The staff were super friendly and even surprised us with a bottle of wine to ring in the New Year-that was a lovely touch! The accommodation itself was spot on-clean, cosy and well kitted out. The site had a nice vibe and although the restaurant was closed because of the time of year, we came prepared with our own food, so no worries there. We also took some really peaceful walks around Fort Augusta, which was stunning. The location was perfect for what we wanted. All in all, a lovely short break, cheers to that!"
Emma - Jan 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay here! The resort was spotless and close to the village, making exploring easy. Kids loved the playground and the scenery was breathtaking too."
Charlie - Jan 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay here! The place was spotless and looked after well. Staff were super friendly and really helpful throughout. Definitely worth a visit!"
Emma Clarke - Dec 2023
"The lodge itself is stunning, but honestly, the park doesnt quite match the usual Hoseason quality Im used to. Having visited loads of parks over the years, I expected a bit more. Still, the lodge was lovely, but the overall park experience was a bit underwhelming for us. Would probably return just for the lodge, though."
