We have been to this lodge three times now. Each year it has improved with new appliances and furniture. Patio furniture has been replaced with more modern aluminium chairs and tables. Lodge was clean and beds made on arrival.

Really good lodge , enjoyed our stay
Mark, Ramsgate
Date of stay: 2nd April 2018
Spotless caravan. We could not believe it was 2 years old. One issue was that they are very closely packed in. More so than other parks we have visited. Other areas of the park were more spaced out though.
Wendy, Worthing
Date of stay: 2nd April 2018
The lodge was very comfortable. The things that let it down was there wasn't enough cupboard space to put food, there wasn't enough comfortable seating for all of us, the parking was a bit of a problem. Too many cars for the amount of spaces available close by.
Otherwise, it was great. Comfortable beds and all the appliances you could want. Good heating system we were very cosy.
Paul, Walton
Date of stay: 23rd March 2018
Excellent lodge, a bit more seclusion around hot tub required- thats the only negative
Sarah, Bexleyheath Kent
Date of stay: 23rd March 2018

Great accommodation! Clean and has everything you need.
Claire, Chingford
Date of stay: 16th February 2018
We had a great time and mainly stayed onsite and used the indoor pool and did the nature trail walk too. Nice to arrive to milk in the fridge and tea/coffee etc. Would be great to see fairtrade and environmentally friendly products used instead though eg washing up liquid.
The lodge was nice but showing signs of getting old with bath getting black mould. Only annoyance was that the boiler would start up at 5.30am and be noisy for half an hour but then stop. Great location with deck not overlooked by other lodges.
Andrew, Worthing
Date of stay: 12th February 2018
Lovely two night stay at Shorefield. Fantastically helpful staff on a holiday park with a really nice feel. Dog friendly, very clean cabin and great hot tub. Will come again for a linger stay next time.

Furniture. Sofa Dining chairs volume on tv need adjusting / updating.
Carol, West Midlands
Date of stay: 6th November 2017
Parking spaces too narrow, impossible to open the car doors if parked between two cars Path to caravan unsatisfactory, paving slabs uneven and broken and sunk into grass which was wet and muddy during our stay.
Lyn, Thatcham
Date of stay: 6th November 2017
Loved the lodge and hot tub
Sarah, Fareham
Date of stay: 3rd November 2017
Perfect for 2 people and a Rottweiler.
Lynn, Bognor Regis
Date of stay: 30th October 2017
Caravan was exceptional but downside was lack of parking and no footpath to the door. (We stayed in G17). Walking across wet grass at night resulted in mud and grass being taken into caravan. A few paving slabs would be a great improvement.
James, Oxford
Date of stay: 27th October 2017
Really loved the accommodation best so far, we would like to go for a hot tub next time
Kim, Tamworth

Absolutely amazing apart from the shower noise in he downstairs bedroom and the bedroom with the bay window apart from that it was perfect for our holiday.
Carolyn, London
Date of stay: 22nd September 2017
The waitress was great but the food I had the salad leaves were past their best the chips were very dried up. My partner's meal was served quite a whiles after mine and there were only a few people in the restaurant but our food took a long time to come. We did not eat in the restaurant again.
Jon, Chessington
Date of stay: 22nd September 2017

Date of stay: 25th August 2017
Mostly 10,s , found the price for 4 days rather expensive , was school holidays though. Coming 3 weeks later and the price was less then half .
Lorraine, Bedford
Date of stay: 25th August 2017
Lovely place, very peaceful and quiet, lodge with hot tub is amazing, very well equipped and comfortable. Swimming pool is good, could do with a slide. Food in restaurant was lovely, prices very reasonable, amusements good and lots of bars, good shop and the outdoor swimming pool was awesome in hot weather! Would definitely go again- just needs a few more activities for kids on site.
Andy, Eastbourne
Date of stay: 18th August 2017
Caravan was very clean & modern & well equipped although we did need to exchange our tin opener for one that actually opened a tin. Quickly swapped over with house keeping. Caravan could have done with a radio & the trees could have done with being pruned to stop the branches banging on the side in the wind. Other than that we had zero complaints & would highly recommend it.
Nicola, Bedfordshire
Date of stay: 12th August 2017
beautiful caravan
Maggie, Gravesend

Uri, London
Date of stay: 11th August 2017
Overall had a nice time. Loves the lodge and the surrounding area but was disappointed with the holiday park apart from the pools.
Date of stay: 7th August 2017
Lovely caravan, comfortable and clean, I requested a caravan in a sunny spot but unfortunately we were under a tree that blocked out the sun. Other than that we were very happy.
Richard, Hull
Date of stay: 7th August 2017
Lovely clean caravan but we wouldn't have expected anything less given the price that we'd paid.

A shame there's no option to not include the use of faculties to bring the price of the stay down. We only needed the caravan as somewhere to sleep.
Sonia, Grimsby
Date of stay: 5th August 2017
Odour of urine in both bedrooms when no ventilation.
Nadine, Long Sutton
Date of stay: 5th August 2017

B, Tonbridge
Date of stay: 14th July 2017

Lisa, Maidstone - Kent
Date of stay: 3rd July 2017
Our caravan was new for this year. We was very impressed as it was a perfect lay out. It had the lounge area in the middle and the bedrooms either side. It was very clean and included everything you would need or would expect from a basic caravan. We were intrigued to see what the higher standard caravans could offer !
Marie, Fareham
Date of stay: 23rd June 2017
Comfort would have been 10 if we had been given a fan
Pat, Norfolk
Date of stay: 23rd June 2017
Nice contemporary style but lounge not comfortable and kitchen set-up not practical. Lovely for a week but no more.
Tim, Cornwall
Date of stay: 19th June 2017
Great accommodation for two couples, both bedrooms were on-suite. Bit of a raised patio with room for all 4 of us to eat and drink in the evenings, complete with barbecue. Parking was a bit tight but okay.
Jackie, Staines
Date of stay: 16th June 2017
Lodge was very clean and well furnished
Gemma, Norwich
Date of stay: 10th June 2017
Lovely caravan, but nowhere to put travel cot in bedrooms.
Diana, Dunbar
Date of stay: 3rd June 2017
Good lodge comfortable and well equipped.
Caroline, Bedfont
Date of stay: 3rd June 2017
The caravan was clean and comfortable and warm. The only downside was the television had terrible sound quality and if you had it at a volume that you could just about hear it, the sound distorted. A dishwasher would be a good idea as do not want to have to do washing up when on holiday and other caravans we have stayed in have had dishwashers.
Norman, Runcorn, Cheshire
Date of stay: 3rd June 2017
would of liked a chalet with bunk beds because their was five of us. but the staff at reception helped by giving my son a second chalet. my whole family really enjoed our holiday and the surrounding area.
Rose, Swindon
Date of stay: 29th May 2017
Based on the last visit very over priced for three nights. Had complained that the sauna didn't work a refund has been suggested and they apologised for it not working. staff were great on this matter and would still go there again.
Date of stay: 29th May 2017
We had a Select 3 Plus caravan, very conveniently located close to the restaurant and play area. The caravan was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. The bed in the main bedroom was super comfortable!
David, Hayling Island
Date of stay: 26th May 2017
Lots of ants on arrival. Apart from that, very good.
Christine, Sevenoaks
Date of stay: 26th May 2017
Caravan contained all equipment required and plenty of storage space.
Lyn, Worthing
Date of stay: 26th May 2017
Unfortunately the carpet in the lodge had a most unpleasant 'doggy' odour and looked dirty in places. Otherwise I had a most relaxing & enjoyable break.
Mark, Stanwell
Date of stay: 26th May 2017
Great place nice and quite where we were, short walk to woods across a road, warm and clean and cosy!
Rebecca, Surrey
Date of stay: 22nd May 2017
The cabin was clean and comfortable inside although the veranda was quite dirty. The main bedroom was a good size although we had to move a bed in the twin room in order to fit the travel cot in. We would have struggled if there had been another couple with us as there would have been no room for the cot! Good sized bathroom and lounge and kitchen area was lovely.
Jane, Southampton
Date of stay: 8th May 2017
We had a very pleasant stay and would return
Date of stay: 8th May 2017
I would love to stay here again. The lodge was lovely and the hot tub was checked daily by a member of staff.
The 80's entertainment was such good fun and all the staff were happy and helpful. Thank you!
Stephen, Maidenhead
Date of stay: 1st May 2017
We had the 'supersaver' chalet, which was very reasonably priced. We were a little worried it might be a little grotty, but it was not. We thought we would have to make all the beds up, but they were done already. In short, given the option we had gone for, we were very satisfied with the accomodation. It had what we needed in terms of facilities, and was clean and warm and comfortable.
The only thing which was not good was the shower, which would either be piping hot or freezing, was very difficult to get in the middle (i gave up after 10 minutes of trying - how can it be piping hot when on the coldest setting! - but my wife somehow managed it).
Would be happy to stay again for sure.
Peter, Flint Mountain Ch65un
Date of stay: 28th April 2017

Sarah, Reading
Date of stay: 24th April 2017
Lovely holiday. Lodge possibly a bit pricey but couldn't fault it.
Date of stay: 24th April 2017
The lodge was everything we needed. It took us a while to figure out the heating as it seemed to always reset itself to 24 degrees. Apart from that it was great.
Cyril, Stone, Staffs
Date of stay: 22nd April 2017
Perfect lodge for a group of 8.
Perfect situation for visiting the surrounding area.
The best thing about it was the cleanliness and helpful staff.

Plenty of things to do in the camp and locally with lots of good supermarkets close by
Bernice, Surrey
Date of stay: 14th April 2017

Date of stay: 25th June 2016
Doors between rooms were sadly too narrow for the mobility walker that a member of our family uses. So she couldn't access the rooms from the lounge without difficulty. We haven't found this in previous lodges so it was an unexpected problem. It is partly our fault and we will ensure we have a narrower walker next time or a lodge with wider doors!
Beds and pillows could be more comfortable. The TV was difficult to get started.
But the lodge is very nice and lovely to see the rabbits, squirrels and woodpeckers, etc., around the lodge.

Very modern and clean.
Date of stay: 3rd June 2016
Nice lodge.
Although showing externally some aging issues, this not reflected inside the lodge itself.
Nicely modernised with attractive and comfortable fixtures and fittings.
Could do with some attention to lighting in the bathroom however as this was quite dull.
Overall, quite acceptable.

Wisteria House is brilliant. We stayed for a long weekend in early March - twelve 47-56 year old ladies. The house is fantastic with all mod cons. Kitchen is extremely well equipped. Lovely large dinning table which sits 12 easily. The 4 en suite bedrooms are lovely, the two that aren't en suite are more basic but still adequate - they have narrower single beds so I presume they are geared towards children. The one thing that could be improved are quality of the matresses, they are fine but for the standard of the house you'd expect them to be better quality. Hot tub is a massive plus. We didn't use any of the facilities in the park but did have a look at them before we left and they are really nice.

Take away pizza's were awful considering what we paid for them , such a shame as we will never have another from them, if some thought had gone into them they could be a big selling point as people on holiday do not want to cook.

The property was absolutely wonderful. It had everything we needed to make a perfect weekend for my family celebration of mums 70 birthday. From the utensils in the kitchen, to the sonos system throughout the property. Lots of space and comfort. I would definitly recommend it to my friends and would love to come back again. Thank you so much.

The lodge was very quiet, comfortable and spotless. As there were 7 of us, another sofa would have been nice. The lodge was plenty big enough but a few more pots and pans would have been useful!!! Plenty of glasses tho................
The hot tub was worth the extra cost.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing New Year's break and would recommend this site.

This particular lodge has a 2 Car parking space which was sufficient and a lovely hot tub but the bonus was having a sauna inside the lodge, which really was the icing on the cake.
A lovely layout comprising of main bedroom with ensuite two twins and a double room.
There were a couple of nice touches and it's always the small and simple things that put a smile on your face as I found an umbrella available to use and the Shakespeare rubber duck for the bath tub ;-)
I would like to once again take this opportunity to thank you all for a wonderful Christmas break

When we booked the superior 2 we were expecting a wooden lodge, but to our pleasant surprise we were actually booked into the 'Solent cottage' which is a brick bungalow. This cottage was lovely, a really nice size and nice and clean and modern inside. The hot tub was lovely on the decking surrounded by a nice garden. Couldn't fault it, the only downside if i had to be picky was the washing machine and one of the Windows didn't work properly. I only rated the value for money 7/10 purely as I thought it was quite expensive to stay there. Overall it was a lovely stay and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone!

Date of stay: 16th October 2015
Great lodge lovely location if one small moan had a distance to walk from club house to lodge and as dark at the time of year we went the lights on route back to amberwood weren't very good.
Date of stay: 12th October 2015
Made much use of the west facing decking and hot tub. Far enough away from other lodges to give some sense of privacy. Situated close to pool etc so 3 year old could easily walk there. Appreciated the welcome touches (milk, tea, coffee, wash up liquid etc.) we had good weather but still needed the heat on in the main room and we felt snug. More than enough crockery and kitchen gadgets for our party of 5.

Pleased with the lodge, hot tub was fun. Lack of seating for 8 people the children had to sit on the floor, we had 6 adults and 2 children.

A tidy and well appointed site. A comfortable lodge for our family get together. Unfortunately there was one broken chair and acouple of lights not working, but this were fixed immediately when reported. Facilities were very good but the childrens play area and crazy golf needed some attention. The staff were very cheerful and efficient. Overall a very enjoyable holiday in a beautiful part of the country.

Superior does allow pets, which probably accounts for doggy smell in Lodge, could of been aired better.

Outside of lodge needed a clean(not good 1st impression) and some utensils missing, DVD not working but all replaced with outstanding efficiency.

However we were allowed in the lodge early (11am) so this may account for above notes.

Thank you.

Absolutely stunning lodge. 10/10 upon unlocking door on first entry. 10/10 all through the holiday everything we needed was in place.
Date of stay: 6th July 2015
The location of the lodge was not explained when booked. Very dark with trees/bushes requiring maintence. Two of the party could not walk up the very steep hill that was excess to the lodge, and the car had to be used. I was only asked can they make two steps. Not can they climb the hill.

Such a disappointment, compared to last time. The lodge was on the flat.

Very impressed with the caravan. We , especially, enjoyed having an enclosed patio where we and our dog could sit and enjoy the sunshine. Inside, the caravan was spotless,
the bed made and a welcome pack of tea and coffee . Outside, the patio and furniture needed sweeping and cleaning. Overall we quickly felt 'at home' and really appreciated the quality of the furnishings and fittings. Everything you need for a wonderful self catering holiday are provided.

Very clean and tidy and ideal for us and our 2 young children (2yrs and 9 months) and due to gated decking area outside, was quite secure for the children to have a bit of freedom.

Date of stay: 19th June 2015
As this was a Supersaver Chalet, the facilities were basic (e.g. bath but no shower). The chalet was very clean and there were one or two maintenance issues but nothing that detracted from our enjoyment of our short break.
Gillian, Brentwood
Date of stay: 13th June 2015
This lodge was much better than I was expecting and was very clean. Two of the bedrooms were larger than caravan bedrooms. There was adequate wardrobe space in each room. The kitchen area was large with plenty of storage space. There was ample crockery and cooking utensils. I would like to have had a larger fridge freezer, especially as the lodge was for sleeping 8.
The lounge was also large enough to sit 8 adults comfortable on sofas. A decent sized TV if you wanted it and dvd player. Each room had a radiator, which we needed first thing in the morning. I did not feel the gas fire was safe to use with young children as it got too hot and there is no guard.
Bathroom was ample big enough with a bath and a shower over it. The main bedroom also had a shower ensuite. Don't try to use both showers at the same time though. The outside decking surrounded two sides of the lodge and was gated, so safe for a toddler.
our lodge was near the back of the park overlooking a small fishing lake. very pleasant surroundings. All in all a great week.

My little one was crawling around a lot, the carpets in the living room and kitchen floor could do with a deep clean as I noticed her clothes got very dirty from them.
Apart from that, a great lodge and well equipped for all our needs.
The staff were so helpful setting up the rooms as we needed (removing a bed from my room for the cot was super helpful).

We really enjoyed our stay at Shorefield. It's a convenient location for lots of lovely places to visit-Christchurch, Bournemouth, Poole etc. The weather was lovely so was a bit disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed as our little one would have loved that. We did know that from the 1st Sept it would be closed though.

We were pleased that our caravan was near to all the amenities as the park is very vast.

Indoor pool was lovely although we found it a little annoying that childrens private swimming lessons went on every day after school. You felt like you were getting in their way! After being out and about in the daytime this was always the time we would want to use the pool.

Our 2 year old was also disappointed that the kids entertainers only worked 2 out of our 4 nights. He really enjoyed the disco and games and it meant we could relax with a drink!

On arrival our Lodge was very clean and spacious.
Other reviews we had read before booking were mixed but we had no complaints. We were only a very short walk from swimming pool, reception and resteraunts. If there was anything to grumble about it was the indoor swimming pool, which wasn't very big and every time we went we had to leave our name and wait until called to go in.
Jenny, Sheffield

Excellent accommodation. The food on site was very good and reasonably priced. The park was clean and well maintained. My only minor criticisms are there were waiting times to get into the indoor swimming pool every time we went and the park was further from the beach than we expected.

Accommodation excellent but showing signs of needing an update. Balcony wood rotten. Bathroom looked a little jaded. Poor selection of glasses in kitchen.

Nice, quiet park, nice and comfortable caravan. Parents had a great week at Shorefield, kids however would have liked more facilities.

So glad we paid the extra for the hot tub - a real bonus. The cooker and fridge could do with replacing and it would be nice to have a larger freezer compartment.

Lovely holiday, would recommend this park very good facilities both in pool and club. A drive to other areas but not a problem for us.

Some elements of the lodge were premium for example two sinks/showers and tv in bathroom.

Then as a contrast there is a faux leather sofa-i don't think it needs to be real leather but a nicer, more comfortable, luxurious looking fabric would be sufficient

Fantastic location if you like walking especially with a dog. Site was clean and well kept, reception and gym looked good and the Spar has all the basics. caravan was better than expected for a pet friendly type. Entertainment area maybe could do with updating.

loverly holiday park very well kept and clean. The caravan was good and clean with a vacum cleaner good for the dog and a proper clothes horse excellent my towels weren't on the floor. I really enjoyed my break. Location was good with excellent walks around the park with the woods and streams etc. I would definitely come again. Well done had a good break the standard of park and accommodation excellent.

The fact that the bed was made on arrival was a real treat. Also there was tea and coffee available so we could have a drink as soon as we arrived.

Fantastic park - lots of facilities but still a peaceful park for the whole family. Exemplary staff - couldn't be more helpful, and that includes the booking operator. The caravan was a fully wheelchair-friendly one and my wheelchair-bound father was overwhelmed with the amount of thought that had gone into the layout. Gorgeous surroundings - the new forest in one directly, the beach in the other, and breathtaking clifftop views on your doorstep. I've never contemplated buying a caravan before but am now considering it, particularly at Shorefield. I would highly recommend it and will definitely book again. Thanks for a great break - even the weather was beautiful.

Excellent few days at Shorefield - minor annoyances in the mobile home - wobbly loo seats - squeaky doors. Nice touch that a member of staff popped round to see if all was Ok shortly after we arrived. We expected the accommodation to be not quite up to standard as it was to take a dog - but very clean - pleasantly surprised. Very Good.

Love this Caravan and the location of it right out of the way so it was nice and quiet and only the wildlife surrounding me.

The caravan was clean & comfortable. We had a couple of problems which were dealt with quickly & efficiently. The caravan was well equipped, although it would have been nice to have a toaster but i understand that is because they tend to trip the electrics. All in all we had a lovely weekend & would certainly consider coming again.

Caravan had not been cleaned on arrival. Two phone calls were needed to reception to get housekeeping to clean the caravan. We arrived at 4pm and given free drinks whilst waiting and eventually were able to move into the caravan at 6pm. The situation was disappointing but handled well by the ladies on reception
Date of stay: 23rd May 2014
Our only criticism of the accommodation was the lack of Wi-Fi in the lodge
Sarah, Kidderminster
Date of stay: 23rd May 2014
could have done with a few more electric sockets, and hooks in bathrooms and behind doors, but overall very good.
Would have been good to have a few leaflets and maps of local places in lodge.
Lovely position and brilliant decking at back of lodge

we needed a base for a long weekend with our 2 small dogs and shorefield was ideal. We didn't use the facilities ie bars restaurant as we didn't want to leave our dogs as they bark, and this would have disturbed other people. The weather was brilliant and the walks around camp brilliant.

Issues with hot tub not reaching correct tmperature until third day. We also had problem with the electricity and no hot water for a day. However when this was reported it was corrected the same morning.
We also received a new toaster on the same morning as the electrician thought that was the cause of the tripping out electricity.
Graham, East Grinstead

A few minor things missing in the lodge. Wire wool for cleaning pots/pans. Nowhere to hang wet coats. No Shoe rack for dirty shoes no spare toilet paper and no soap of any description., Could it be made clearer that NO TOWELS ARE PROVIDED.
John, Bognor Regis

The only improvement would be Internet access in the Lodge, also a mid week clean would be good
Date of stay: 24th March 2014
We booked our short stay at the last minute - and were amazed to find we had a brand new caravan (even down to the labels still being on the kitchen utensils)! We found out later we were actually the first guests to use the caravan at all - and it showed. Immaculate, high quality, great value accomodation which we all thoroughly enjoyed. On top of that the facilities were great, staff friendly and very helpful, and the evening entertainments were great for us adults to relax while our 2 children (aged 2 & 5) were having thoroughly entertained! The pool was also great for the kids - lovely in that it had a shallow 'walk in' area for our youngest, and also that the sauna & steam room were easily available for us to relax in. We recently had a similar break at nearby Sandy Balls - Shorefield compares very favourably, and indeed we have already booked our next stay over Easter. Our kids can't wait and neither can we!

Only negative is that the hot tub wasn't working properly which was a real shame.

there is only one problem we had was that our caravan was such along way from the club itwas avery long walk and some of the paths were so dark we had to go out and buy torches and because the weather was so bad we did not go to the club as much as we wanted to because of the distance

As a way of bringing our 3 generation family together for Christmas, the house was ideal. We just had slight problems with the freezer - too small, and the settees - too soft for comfort; and there was a leek in the conservatory roof, which could not stand up to the extreme wind and rain. Otherwise it was an excellent house for a family Christmas. Many thanks!

Fantastic for couples. Me and my partner came to shorefield with our dog and we had a great time. The park is clean, our caravan was amazing and the staff were helpful. The location was great too as it was right next to the new forest that we wanted to explore Want to return again
Caravan was very modern and extremely clean and well maintained. We had a hot tub which was amazing worth the money alone just using it on the 1st day. Check in with painless and quick and very easy no hanging around.
The caravan was spotless, we couldn't fault the accommodation.
we had a lovely time. The lodge and area was clean and staff were friendly and helpful
Lovely clean relaxing park, easy access to the beach.
Excellent caravan, very modern and had everything we needed. It was nice to park the car up and not have to drive anywhere. Everything we needed was either on site or within walking distance. Kids loved the site entertainment.
