Widemouth Bay Caravan Park Reviews

"Caravan was basic but clean and basis met. Bedrooms and toilet/shower was snug although all of this as expected. New for 2025 so was clean and well furnished.Only gripe would be had to make own bedding as sheets and covers left in a tidy pile on the beds, but it did state this on the description."
Ian - Apr 2025
"Accommodation was very clean and the beds very comfortable, it was a lovely stay."
Verified Guest - Apr 2025
"Broken know on the grill and broken hinge on the cupboard door above the microwave."
Brian - Apr 2025
"Really appreciated the quick fix for the heating issue, made our stay much better!"
Claire - Mar 2025
"Our Widemouth Bay Caravan Park review: We found the caravan to be pretty spacious, which was nice. The bed was comfortable and everything like the dishwasher, oven and fridge worked perfectly. The shower was a decent size too. We did have some trouble with the WiFi and a couple of lights that didnt work, plus a leak in the toilet, but overall, good value for what we paid!"
Emma Clarke - Mar 2025
"We really enjoyed our stay at the caravan. The lounge was spacious with a big sofa that comfortably sat all six of us, which was perfect. We did have to shuffle around the table since there were only four stools, but honestly, it wasnt a big deal. The shower was a highlight - really hot and refreshing and the kids didnt want to get out! The rooms offered plenty of storage, so unpacking was easy, especially since the twin rooms are a bit cosy. The double rooms en-suite was a lovely surprise and super handy. The kitchen had everything we needed - dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven, hob and grill. The fridge freezer was big, though its a shame there were no ice trays. We missed outdoor seating, but using camping chairs worked fine for us. Parking was always nearby and the EV charger was a bonus. All in all, a great place to stay!"
Emily Carter - Aug 2024
"We had a lovely time staying in the caravan. It was spotless and there were plenty of kitchen utensils which made cooking easy. The welcome drinks and biscuits were a nice touch. Thanks so much for having us!"
Harriet - Aug 2024
"Beds were broken and oven didn't work"
Jenna - Aug 2024
"Caravan was well appointed with a large sofa enough for all 6 of us. We had to move the table to sit everyone as only 4 stools but wasnt a problem. Shower was lovely and hot, struggled to get the kids out of it. Rooms had loads of storage which was handy as it the twin rooms were small. The double room had an en-suite toilet which was very handy and a nice surprise. Kitchen had everything youd need: dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven, hob and grill. Large fridge freezer although no ice trays. There is no outdoor seating provided which would have been great but we used camping chairs so not an issue for us. Parking was always available close by and we used the EV charger whilst there which was handy."
Rebecca - Aug 2024
"The Caravan was not new, and our double bed was not very comfortable. There were sufficient cupboards for us to store our clothes in, and the cupboards in the shower room were adequate."
Richard Cook - Jun 2024
"See previous review"
Fiona - May 2024
"Pretty decent, honestly nothing too bad."
Ben Harper - May 2024
"We loved how spacious and cosy the caravan was-felt just like being at home, super clean and comfy. Definitely made our trip special!"
Rachel - Apr 2024
"We stayed in the caravan which was really comfy. The restaurant seemed lovely and the staff were super friendly. Didnt eat there ourselves, but the food looked delicious. Plenty of drink options too!"
Mr. Johnson - Jan 2024
"Really pleased with what we got for the price. Thanks a lot for your help and time with us."
Michael - Nov 2023
"We loved how spacious this van is - it really feels like a home away from home. The added bonus of the dishwasher is great and the gas BBQ arriving on request was a real game changer for us!"
Simon - Oct 2023
"Lovely place, would love to return soon!"
Sam - Aug 2020
"We were really impressed with this van. Its got all the usual modern comforts like a dishwasher and plenty of space to relax. The gas BBQ was a great addition and everyone loved it!"
George - Jul 2020
"We had a lovely holiday overall and definitely felt it was worth the price. The caravan was pretty good, though we did notice quite a few flies which was a bit odd. The TV remote was missing at first, but they sorted it out quickly. The restaurant was a bit overpriced, but the food was tasty. The staff member serving seemed very rushed and wouldnt let us pay by card for the food, even though we could pay at the bar. Strange! Still, wed go back."
Jamie - Mar 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay, the views were breathtaking and the site was perfect!"
Clara - Oct 2019
"Really enjoyed our stay, would recommend."
Mark - Jul 2018
"We had such a great time! The van was spotless, comfy and had everything we needed. Honestly, from start to finish, it was brilliant!"
Oliver - Oct 2017
"Really enjoyed the peaceful stay"
Sarah - Jul 2017
"Really enjoyed our stay, definitely coming back again soon!"
Lucy - Apr 2017
"Really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was fantastic and in a lovely spot. Beds were super comfy and the dishwasher was a bonus."
James - Jul 2016
"The caravan was comfy enough, but honestly, we missed a clothes airer for drying wet swimsuits - a bit of a hassle. Also, the clubhouse could do with a refresh, but overall, not bad!"
Martin - Aug 2015
"Very pleased with our stay"
Amelia Carter - Jul 2015
"We really enjoyed our stay! We were after a quiet break and thats exactly what we got. If we had brought the grandchildren along, we probably wouldnt have enjoyed it as much due to the location. We would definitely book again as the caravan was faultless and so spacious and comfy. Thank you for a lovely stay."

Denis - Jul 2022
"what an amazing place, the site the staff the entertainment team absolutely brilliant, we didn't want to leave, and can't wait to book again! our caravan was spotless and had everything you need, can not wait to see the hot tub option next year, how exciting! the pool was lovely, but bookings a bit of a pain when you just want to roam the area and luve by the moment, but when we fancied a dip we just drove the 3 min drive to the absolutely stunning widemouth bay! I've never really been interested in North Cornwall before or really travelled to South, but I have to say this area and site completely changed my mind, so much to explore and do, we can't wait to go again. can't wait to recommend it to everyone! thank you yo stripey Heather and the stripey team for making Sydney feel included and giving her amazing memories ?"
