Cae Bach Reviews

Ben - Mar 2025
A fantastic getaway in a great location! Amazing outdoor area, the hot tub with Bluetooth and outdoor tv were great features. Everything we couldve needed was provided and there were great walks nearby. Would definitely stay again!
Melissa - Feb 2025
Truly astonishing, from start to finish was beautiful. Spent mine and my partners birthday weekend here and genuinely couldnt. Of asked for anything better. Everything was there and more. The minting views and sounds were breath taking we cannot wait to see what others they have available.
Finlay - Jan 2025
We had an absolutely amazing time staying here and have recommended it to everyone one! The cabin decor is beautifully thought out designed and the views and outdoor area are absolutely to die for and I feel it really makes this place worth every penny we paid. The owners were very kind and helpful too, our orginal pod we stayed in the hot tub wasn't working so they immediately moved us to another pod and had even apologised they were at work so they couldn't help bring over all our luggage to the new pod, I felt this was very thoughtful. The only reason we have not given this a 55 but 45 was because as much as the pods had clearly been cleaned there were a few areas that had been missed such as the taps not being wiped, crumbs on the counter and few food or tea stains on the fronts of the kitchen cabinets meaning I did have to give the kitchen in both pods a clean before we used them.Secondly as much as we understand this is not the owners fault there were several power cuts leaving us unable to cook, use any water or facilities for multiple hours over multiple days. However the owners were responsive and tired to do all they could to get facilities up and running again. However both of these things would not stop us returning or recommending to others.Overall we had a beautiful time, the views are unmatched and the hot tub facilities are incredible! We would love to come back in the future!
Elizabeth - Jan 2025
Perfect property for our first trip of 2025. It's the best place we have ever stayed. The pod had everything we needed and was surprisingly spacious. The outside area was a huge wow factor.
Caroline - Dec 2024
Absolutely amazing holiday, one of our best ever. Jane and Huw are fantastic hosts, always there to help if you need but in the background. They have gone all out with the pods you have everything you need and more. Outside space with the fire, hottub, ninja bbq, tv and lights is amazing. The views are spectacular and local town of ruthin is so quaint. I cannot recommend this highly enough you will definitely not be disappointed and we will be back for sure!
Paulina - Nov 2024

Sean - Nov 2024

Daniel - Sep 2024
The hobbit pod was amazing, it had everything we could ask for and more, comfy bed, warm and relaxing vibes, hot tub with a view, fire place for the cold evenings and a place to cook outside, the locations of the pods is central to most areas that north Wales has to offer, local walks, would recommend this amazing pod to anyone wanting to just get away! Hosts were happy to help with anything and easy to contact. we will definitely be coming back
Imogen - Sep 2024
Absolutely incredible place to stay! ! The pod was fully equipped and the outdoor space was amazing. Hosts were happy to help with anything and easy to contact. Also had the mention that the bedsheets were the incredibly comfortable! Thank you!
Chloe - Aug 2024
Amazing place to stay, great facilities, amazing views, was quite central to what we wanted to do throughout our week. Hotub, fire and outdoor cooker were a bonus
Kerry - Aug 2024
We absolutely loved our little break staying at Cae Bach. It was the perfect location to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Everything about the pod was perfect. It was beautifully decorated and furnished, extremely comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The outside area was stunning, the views are breathtaking from the pod and the hot tub. We loved the fire and fairy lights in the gazebo. It was the most romantic setting sitting in the hot tub with the fire blazing and lights on. Having the outside tv and Bluetooth for music was an added bonus too. The Prosecco and chocolates were a lovely welcome surprise. Having had many hot tub breaks in the past, this is 100 the best place we have ever stayed. We will recommend and definitely return.
Kayley - Aug 2024
WOW ! This place was worth every penny. We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday. The accommodation is on a working farm and the views from the pod are incredible. We spent most of our time outdoors, relaxing in the hot tub, cooking BBQs, and enjoying prosecco by the fire. There was nothing I could complain about. Everything you could possibly need was provided, as well as a welcome basket with prosecco and chocolates. So thoughtful. We brought our dog with us, and loved that he could just run around off lead due to each pod being very secure with lots of outside space. Don't hesitate to book this place !
Beth - Jul 2024
What an absolutely fantastic place! We really found a gem here. Spectacular scenery and spectacular facilities. Jane and Huw were lovely hosts and made sure we were very comfortable during our stay. Brilliant for dogs as well, such a big area for them to play. The hot tub, outdoor kitchen and view makes this place magical. We will definitely be returning.
Louise - Jul 2024
Absolutely wonderful little hideaway. The hobbit hut was great it had everything we needed and more! There were thoughtful touches the welcome tray, lots of throws, a fully equipped kitchen. The outside area was just amazing sitting in the hot tub with the views was brilliant.
Rachel - Jul 2024
Im not one for leaving reviews but felt compelled to do so on this occasion. The most perfect spot to set up home for a month let alone a short break. I came here with my partner for a few days and the first thing we noticed was the breathtaking views. The pod itself is totally unique to any other we have stayed in and we have stayed in a few, beautifully decorated inside, warm and a very comfortable bed. The pod is in the ground with only the door to be seen from outside. It was very private with Clocaenog forestry behind. Jane recommended we go for a walk in the forest from the pod it was full of wildlife. We spent most of our time in the outside timber frame gazebo, which had an outside kitchen and ninja bbq. The hot tub was amazing with Bluetooth. We also loved the wood burning stove and sitting area and the lights in the gazebo are stunning when it gets dark.We will definitely return.
