"Standard caravan facilities, though the mattresses were far too soft for us oldies, with our aged backs and aches and pains. Plenty of room for the two of us though and although we didn't cook in the caravan, there seemed to be ample utensils and pots etc. Wi-fi was good, though tv went down during set up. Soon sorted by two of Marine Parks' excellent Maintenance guys."

"We stayed at Goddard's Mead recently and honestly, the owners Rob and Sharon have done a lovely job transforming this historic place. They were so welcoming from the moment we arrived, along with Bonnie, of course! The location is perfect for exploring Essex-definitely take some time to walk around Thaxted and nearby villages, there's so much history and charming buildings to see. Its a truly relaxing spot with everything you need for a comfy stay. Would definitely recommend!"

"We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners were super friendly and helpful without being intrusive, which we appreciated. The garden is huge and fully fenced, perfect for our dog to run around. The place had everything we needed and even a BBQ for a nice evening cookout. The hot tub was a real highlight! Wed definitely come back and already told our friends about it. Thanks for a lovely break!"

"The beds could of been more comfy, it was really springy and made me have a bad back. The kids said the beds werent comfy either. The bathroom door u had to be careful with as u nearly got stuck in! Lovely caravan though"

"Overall, we had a decent stay. The caravan was spotless and had all the essentials we needed. The only downside was the parking situation; its quite common nowadays and our spot was a bit further back, so lugging our stuff involved a few trips. Luckily, the weather stayed dry!"

The owners were genuinely friendly and super helpful whenever we needed anything, yet they respected our privacy completely. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day cycling around. A little heads-up - the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt ruin our holiday at all. Would definitely recommend!"

"My partner and I recently stayed in the accessible caravan at Marine Holiday Park and honestly, it was fantastic. The place was spotless and really welcoming from the moment we arrived. The ramp made a huge difference for getting in easily and manoeuvring the wheelchair inside was no trouble at all. Everything in the caravan was well thought out, making our stay comfortable. We had a small issue with a blown bulb, but the staff sorted it out quickly - they replaced it before the day was over, which was really impressive. We left feeling totally refreshed and are already thinking about coming back. Its rare to find such good service and a place that caters so well to our needs. Would definitely recommend!"

The owners are super friendly and always there if you need anything, but they respect your space completely. The hot tub was an absolute highlight after a long day of cycling. Only thing to note is that the cottage is directly under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if youre sensitive to noise, bear that in mind. Overall, a lovely place!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Captains Quarters lodge. Its quite comfy, with TVs in the bedrooms and a fantastic hot tub. At the reduced rate, its definitely better value than booking multiple hotel rooms or B&Bs. Would recommend!"

"We recently stayed in the accessible caravan 410A at Marine Holiday Park and honestly, it was fantastic. The place was spotless and really felt welcoming. The ramp made it super easy for my partners wheelchair and moving around inside was no problem at all. All the amenities inside the caravan worked perfectly, which made our stay so comfortable. We did have to ask staff about a blown bulb for the fire since my partners quite sensitive to light and they sorted it out quickly-by the end of the day, it was replaced! We left feeling really relaxed and refreshed. Fingers crossed we get to visit again sometime soon. Its rare to find such accommodating and friendly service, so thumbs up all round!"

"We didnt bother with the pool since our teens werent interested in the entertainment. The caravan was spotless when we arrived and it was a nice touch to find some tea, coffee sachets and even miniature washing up liquid with a sponge and tea towel. The location was decent - a bit of a drive to the main attractions, but Morrison's is only five minutes away and the local cinema by the seafront was affordable. Not bad at all!"

"Honestly, weve been to better places, but this one had some ups. We splurged on the Captains Quarters lodge and that was definitely the highlight - super cosy and nice inside. The site itself is quite small, which was a bit disappointing, especially when trying to keep the kids entertained. We only managed one swim because the lifeguards seemed a bit over the top - kinda put us off having fun with the little ones. The buggies arent allowed in the club, so we didnt bother trying to go, which was odd since it doesnt seem very family friendly if you cant get around easily with a baby. The cafes coffee was pretty terrible, so we didnt bother with the food either, as we spent most of our time exploring off-site. North Wales is stunning, though and the staff were lovely and really helpful. The guys checking the hot tub were great, especially chatting with our 4-year-old. Not the worst holiday, but couldve been better!"

"A good affordable holiday for the family, kids had a good time,
It is directed more towards the younger children as my 13year old only had the pool that she was interested in,
Pool is lovely and had chairs where you can sit and relax and watch the kids If you don't want to get in,
Only thing is very little staff in the pool area, I went to book us in for the pool for the next day but there were no staff at all, so had to come back the next day
Over all it is a nice place to holiday, staff are friendly and the molibe homes are perfect for the family"
