Beech Hedge Reviews

"Everything was good for us."
Sandra - Apr 2024
"Lovely lodge with everything you need. Would definitely go back."
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Lovely little log cabin for a relaxing getaway. Some aspects of the lodge were a little tired but had a lovely relaxing break and great value for money. The hot tub was amazing and the giant umbrella over the hot tub allowed us to use it in all weather's."
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Had a perfect long weekend in the willow lodge. A beautiful location with a perfect view and wonderful hot tub. Very well equipped accommodation, spotless and comfortable with lovely lighting and even a walk in wardrobe!!! We would highly recommend a stay in this beautiful lodge. We found the location perfect for exploring the area and the hot tub perfect for relaxing and recharging."
Amanda - Mar 2024

"Great cabin plenty of space and always clean. The hottub is always cleaned every morning and we enjoy using it.It is just a home from home."
Angela - Feb 2024
"Lovely Lodge was homely. Only thing lacking for us personally was no place for walking the dog. Had to drive to nearby trail for that. Overall really enjoyed peaceful surroundings. Would go back again"
Verified Guest - Dec 2023
"Furniture needs to be steamed cleaned. Spoilt the stay by all the dirt and stains in the seating areas"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Beech Hedge is in a beautiful location and the gentleman who greeted us promptly was lovely. The caravan was nice inside and clean. The only thing that really let it down was the equipment inside the caravan, particularly the kitchen. There were no basics like chopping board or colander to drain pasta. The only small vegetable knife was coming apart between the blade and the handle and was dangerous to use. At least two of the pots had handles that were barely attached. We enjoyed our stay in a beautiful location but the kitchen situation made it difficult to cook for our family. Strangely for such a small campsite in the middle of the countryside, it was also very noisy at night - on the Saturday night there was music playing till 3am - again, not great for the family."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Very nice ???? we would like come back again ????????"
Marwah - Nov 2023
"Really nice lodge with everything to hand that is needed. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Lodge is very welcoming and comfortable, nicely decorated, clean and practical. Bed was very comfortable and area very quiet. We will definitely be back and will bring the dog next time! Easy access to surrounding towns and Perth. Couldnt fault it and the price was brilliant too."
Jennifer - Oct 2023
"A quiet, convenient location with lovely views over the Tay valley. Easy access via A93 to Perth, Blairgowrie and the surrounding countryside. Lodge is generously sized for a one bed, and well fitted out internally. Very clean throughout. Comfortable modern furniture, recent kitchen and shower room installations. We needed a base for the week whilst visiting family near Perth and touring the area. This lodge fitted our needs well. We felt relaxed and had no issues during our stay. The only minor negatives were: 1. We had expected towels would be provided so had not brought any, although these can be hired at extra cost apparently. 2. We were woken in the early hours most nights by squirrels? (or large birds?) dancing on the roof! Overall a convenient and enjoyable stay."

"Beautiful caravan with an amazing view. Will definitely be coming back"
Sophie - May 2022
"Seemed unfriendly and in welcoming"
CAROLINE - May 2022

Katie - Apr 2022
"Fantastic place quiet and relaxing just what we needed. We have booked to go back."
Leanne - Mar 2022
"Lovely lil place. Really warm and cosy. Has everything you need. Highly recommend"
Thu - Feb 2022
"Great place, clean and stocked well."
Rosemary - Feb 2022
"Well equipped and comfortable."
Valerie - Jan 2022
"Great location and stay, only downside would be the bizarre 5pm check in and 9am check out with the cleaner waiting outside since 8:15 for us. Which more of less cuts a day off your stay and makes you unnecessarily anxious when dealing with children in the morning and extra hour would be ideal."
Sean - Jan 2022
"The lodge was lovely. It was very well maintained and clean. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival. We were only expecting basics in the kitchen but extras had been added for our Christmas stay. We ha a really good time and would highly recommend a holiday here."
Elizabeth - Dec 2021
"Kinclaven in need of TLC . Tv remote broken, subtitles always on, reclining chair no power lead, bulbs on extractor hood blown, toilet seat loose. All these issues should have been addressed prior to our arrival. Roads potholed, site messy."
Michael - Dec 2021
"Only bad thing was we were only there for 3 nights instead of 3 weeks. Honestly can't wait to come back!!"
Chantelle - Nov 2021
"The caravan had everything we needed & was in good condition. Lovely location to explore the surrounding towns & countryside. The reception was very friendly. Small quite site, but as we wanted. Only slight issue was the poor WiFi signal."
Alison - Aug 2022
"Relaxing and peaceful break. Nice caravan."
Heather - Jul 2022
"Met the owner when we arrived, very friendly and advised details etc. cabin was excellent, clean and tidy with everything you need. Hot tub was amazing. Only issue we had was the amount of flies. Bought fly spray and sorted the issue"
Debbie - Jul 2022
"The area was brilliant. We could go in any direction straight on the motorway. Location of our caravan was very good."
Dinoo - Jul 2022
"Lovely break. Very spacious and clean accommodation in very nice surrounding countryside. A little drive to any significant locations, shops, beaches etc…. but from my perspective this isn’t a complaint. Lidl was an 8 minute drive and beautiful walks within 10 minutes. We were more than happy to drive further afield in exploration. We had a lovely time"
Chris - Jul 2022
"Caravan modern, clean and comfy. A good location for exiring Perthshire."
Jude - Jul 2022
"Amazing people and place. We would visit again and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you ??"
Karen - Jul 2022
"Great wee caravan park, quite and just what we needed"
LAURA - Jul 2022
"Great site, very clean and tidy."

Active Kid Adventure Park is the place to go if you have energetic children and are looking for a fun day out. The site boasts many attractions including a Zip Line, Target Football, Go Karts, Play Areas, Pony Rides and Crazy Golf. There are also some friendly farm animals to meet including a docile Donkey. Brechin Castle Centre - DD9 6RL
about 29 Miles

So much more than a garden centre this place is ideal for a fun family day out in Angus. The garden centre stocks a huge range of plants, outdoor furniture and gardening equipment and also has a café serving tasty home made meals, cakes and snacks. The site has a large outdoor play area for children an ornamental pond and country park to explore. Halloween and Bonfire night's events are coming up soon. The annual Fireworks Display is really spectacular.

Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB
about 38 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
