Crowhurst Park Lodges Reviews

We spent the last week of the 6 weeks hols here and we all loved it. Our children 10 and 7 could run around and paly while we just relaxed in our own little garden. Highly recommended.

Very smart lodge with good aspect. Interior is of a very high standard - plenty of room - there were 6 of us! Clean, comfortable and well maintained.

Had a lovely week, despite my injury. Very quiet and peaceful so I wouldnt recommend it for teenagers but ideal for me. Rather pricey for food and drink but to be expected. Staff exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Bonus to park by lodge. Theres no entertainment at night, which suited me fine. If you want a break to just chill, this is ideal.

Just a slight note to say that the leather chairs were a bit saggy, so were a bit difficult to get out of.

This is really a silly thing, but the rail for hanging clothes in the two single bedrooms was too high, the only thing wrong

We love the informality and comfort of the lodges

We had a great stay! Cabin was really clean and well equipped.
Zara
With the exception of one member of staff in the bar/restaurant, who was rude when we arrived for break face at 11, as she had laid out the tables for lunch already even though breakfast was not finished until 11.30. Other than that, we had a lovely weekend.
Gwen
We had a lovely time, the lodge and its location was perfect. The singer on Saturday evening was fantastic, we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening with him. The only issue we had with the site was the fact that there were private functions on in the main bar area on Friday night, which we were advised about therefore it did not affect us, but on the Saturday night, without any notification, the main bar area was closed to the park guests and owners, leaving us with the small bar which cannot accommodate the amount of visitors wanting to see the entertainment. It had only 24 chairs and 5/6 tables, clearly not enough. Also the television was on throughout the entertainment which was very rude. The singer deserved more respect but some if the customers in the bar were watching the football, not listening to the singer. Very poor organisation we felt. We loved the site and would like to book again for later in the year, but would need to be advised if there are private functions on before we could confirm.
Stella
Absolutely perfect! Just what we were looking for, so peaceful, our lodge was warm cosy and perfect Loved it, will 100% book again My 16 year old loved the fishing and my 10 and 5 year olds can’t wait to go back
James
Couldn’t have been easier, staff were incredible, place was incredible, secluded but not too far from locality, definitely going again for our anniversary

Fun Days Out near Crowhurst Park Lodges

Bodiam Castle - about 7 Miles
Bodiam Castle (National Trust) was built in 1385 and much of the exterior of the castle is still in tact although most of the interior was destroyed during the Civil War. The castle and grounds are a popular attraction in Sussex and have a children's activity area and a year round events programme including Bonfire night firework displays and Halloween spooky pumpkin parades. On selected date's visitor's cam meet real castle characters and get an insight into castle life.
Fort Fun and Rocky's - about 11 Miles
The Fort Fun family theme park has something for everyone and makes a memorable day out in Eastbourne.  It's also great value for money and you can currently save money on your tickets by booking online.  Both indoor and outdoor activities make this a good choice rain or shine.  Some of the highlights include the brand new outdoor Super Splash Aquaslide Park.  Indoors, Rocky's Adventure Land is sure to impress with a massive soft play area, sky high aerial runway and Indiana's Ravine.
Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest is another very popular attraction and is great for families as there is loads of open space for children to run around. Bedgebury is home to the beautiful National Pinetum and a further 2000 acres of forest as well as an excellent adventure play trail. Families can explore the site via the miles cycling routes and for the more experienced rider there are also 12 km of mountain biking tracks. The specially designed play area features a butterfly climbing wall, a spider's web, a ship wreck and tree stump nest tunnels. Other activities include Go Ape aerial ropes and a brand new zip wire course.
Imagine Playcentre - about 21 Miles
Great Kent attraction and actually the biggest play centre in Kent.  From babies right through to toddlers and juniors there is something to suit all ages.  For roddlers the under 5s play frame has a host of activities including a tube slide, ball pool and funny mirrors. Juniors will be attractoed to the Imagine Village where they can drive little cars on the specially designed roadway. If you live locally this is also a great place to meet people and make new friends.
