Crowhurst Park Lodges Reviews

"We had an amazing stay! The park was lovely, with stunning views and friendly staff everywhere. The hot tub and facilities were spot on too. Can't wait to come back to Richmond Plus!"
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"We had such a lovely stay, honestly it was better than we expected! The photos made the place look a bit dated, but that actually added to the cosy vibe. Everything was spotless and we loved the little touches like Christmas crackers and chocolates on the table - on the 30th of December, no less! The staff were super friendly and really helpful throughout. The pool, sauna and gym were all top-notch and best of all, no need to book ahead. Our whole family had a great time and were already talking about coming back soon. Definitely a place wed recommend!"
Oliver - Jan 2025
"We had a really lovely time at the park! The cabin was spot on - super cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas, with a little tree to hang your own baubles on. The Christmas table was all set up with festive touches, which we loved. The place was spotless and it had everything we needed for self-catering, so no fuss there. The staff were genuinely helpful throughout our stay, which made things even better. Only thing we noticed was the mattresses felt a bit worn out, but not a big deal. The heated pool was a bit chilly for winter, but still manageable for a quick dip if youre brave enough. The steam room and sauna were a real bonus too. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and definitely plan to come back!"
Charlie - Jan 2025
"We've stayed here twice this year and really like it. The lodge is spotless and perfect for a small family wanting to explore the local area comfortably."
Emma T. - Dec 2024
"Our Crowhurst Park Lodges review: The Montana was perfect for us-spotless and well-equipped. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks a lot!"
Emma James - Dec 2024
"The bed was super comfy and the central heating kept us warm during chilly nights. The hot tub on the deck was a real treat, loved it! Great quality all around."
Oliver - Nov 2024
"We had a lovely relaxing stay, surrounded by stunning scenery and really friendly staff who were always happy to help. Theres plenty to explore nearby - we loved the Rye bonfire festival and Hastings is just a short drive away. Weve been five times now and definitely plan to return again soon!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"We recently stayed at the Richmond lodge for a birthday weekend and honestly, it was fantastic! The decor is really stylish and its super clean and spacious - we felt right at home. The views are stunning and having a hot tub was such a bonus. Everything we needed was there, fully equipped, which made things easy. The cosy snug was perfect for relaxing. Wed definitely come back to Richmond again - loved every minute of it!"
Emily - Nov 2024
"We stayed at the lodge and it really had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The space was great, especially the patio doors leading to the sun balcony - perfect for unwinding with a drink while watching the sunset. Beds were comfy and we slept really well. The only thing is, No 10 could do with a doorstep outside the entrance - theres quite a step down, which might be tricky for some. Overall, a lovely stay!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"We've stayed here several times now and it just keeps impressing us. The views of the coast are absolutely stunning. Love returning every year!"
Emma Parker - Oct 2024
"The rooms are nicely furnished and super comfy beds. Towels are fresh and white, but theres no salt, oil or extra loo rolls."
Emma Harper - Oct 2024
"Great experience, highly recommend!"
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"We loved our stay at the lodge - it was super clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The views were simply breathtaking! Weve stayed in New Jersey, Colorado and now Richmond and honestly, Richmonds our favourite by far. Cant wait to return!"
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"Beautiful spot for a peaceful getaway. Staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. Perfect for a relaxing short break. Would come again!"
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge, its super cosy and comfortable overall. That said, a few things could do with some upgrades-like the showers, which werent the best and the cupboard under the sink in the main bedroom needs replacing. Also, theres some missing skirting and the mattress could be more comfy. The fire in the lounge was tricky without a remote, but the maintenance guy helped us out!"
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! Staff were friendly and knew their stuff. A couple of minor lodge issues, but overall lovely."
Emma - Sep 2024
"Overall, our stay was pretty decent. Some cabinets had dropped, so we just avoided using those, which wasnt too much hassle. There was a loose handle on one of the bathroom doors, but nothing major. We did notice a few cobwebs in the lounge, but honestly, it didnt spoil the vibe. The decor could use a bit of updating around the Lodge, but it didnt affect our holiday at all. Wed definitely come back!"
Mrs Sophie M. Carter - Sep 2024
"Great location, comfy beds, friendly staff."
Emma Clarke - Sep 2024
"Very well kept, all essentials covered"
James - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, will come again!"
James - Sep 2024
"Clean, cosy lodge perfect for family getaways!"
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"We had a really nice stay at the Country Plus lodge. The place is surprisingly spacious with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was perfect for us. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The lounge had comfy sofas and the hot tub was a real bonus - it stayed warm even in the rain! The view from the decking was absolutely stunning too. Wed definitely come back!"
Sarah - Jul 2024
"It was really warm when we returned in the evening, a fan would have made a big difference."
Emma Carter - Jul 2024
"We loved the place! The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were comfy. Having two bathrooms was a real bonus with six of us. The hot tub was definitely the highlight for relaxing evenings."
Emma - Jun 2024
"The beds were super comfy, but the seating was pretty low and not great for older guests with mobility issues. The kettle switch was a bit awkward too."
Emma Carter - Jun 2024
"Nice lodge, great spot, would stay again, no worries."
Emma Carter - May 2024
"While the furniture felt a bit outdated and not super comfy, we found the beds way too firm for our liking. The bathroom could use some sprucing up. Still, overall, we enjoyed the lodge and the peaceful site. Could be better, but quite alright!"
Emma Carter - May 2024
"Decent enough, but some bits look worn."
Emma Carter - May 2024
"We stayed in a lodge that looked lovely and was very clean, with a smart interior and a nice welcome pack. The lodge was around 12 or 13 years old but had been refurbished recently, which made it feel fresh. The only downsides were that the bed was a bit too soft for our liking and the curtains let in sunlight early in the morning, waking us up. First time in a Colorado lodge, but wed definitely book again!"
Sarah Collins - May 2024
"The lodge was pretty much spot on, apart from one sofa losing its comfort after a while. The bed was a tad soft for us, but honestly, thats just personal preference. Overall, we were quite happy!"
Charlie - Apr 2024
"Beautiful location, great staff. Overall brilliant. Its why we keep returning. Our only criticism this stay was there was two small "sofa's" which were really very small, given its a cabin for four people. There also no cushions, so one person was sitting on the floor with out even a cushion. But over all still our go to place."
Brenda - Jul 2022
"Great stay, good location and facilities. Helpful and friendly staff ??????????"
Julian - Jul 2022
"Lodge was lovely site very clean and the staff are wonderful"
David - Jul 2022
"Superb A1 a lovely lovely site"
Daniel - Jul 2022
"We spent the time as a spa retreat and the staff at the spa were fantastic. The swimming pool and gym facilities were clean and staff were friendly. We liked the takeaway deliver to your lodge service. The food was excellent. The views over to the South Downs and across to the sea were beautiful."
Lynne - Jul 2022
"We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the lodges, lovely view, very friendly and helpful staff and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. The swimming pool was really good and as a non-swimmer I found the steps, bars and shallow water very helpful."
Diane - Jul 2022
"Crowhurst is a beautiful peaceful place to stay, this was our second visit and we enjoyed it. But there were a couple of little things we thought they could of done to make the say a little better. Some comfortable soft furniture on the deck for relaxing in would have been nice, instead of the hard ridged chairs that are there. Also some sort of sun shade/large umbrella that could be used to give you some shade while in the hot tub. Our tub was in direct sunlight all day till sunset."
Chris - Jul 2022
"Everyone very helpful, holiday was good. Pool very good. Childrens playground was a little difficult being on steep slope. Enjoyed our time there."
Cynthia - Jul 2022
"Our second visit. Such a lovely place. Accomodation is great and the staff are exceptional. So friendly and helpful. Pool is superb and the grounds are kept immaculate. 15 mins to the town centre and lovely beaches. Great family park."
Jonathan - Jul 2022
"Excellent from start to finish. We'll be back"
Norman - Jul 2022
"Very nice place"
