Searles Leisure Resort Reviews

"Comfortable, well-equipped, great location"
Emily Carter - Mar 2025
"The van was spotless and modern, with good heating, plus a lovely sunny balcony. Bathroom was small but decent for the price and the bed was super comfy."
Emma - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was modern, super tidy and cleverly designed for comfort and space."
Emma - Feb 2025
"Comfortable stay, loved the cosy vibe here."
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"Our Searles Leisure Resort review: Not quite what we hoped"
Emma - Oct 2024
"The caravan was tiny and really not suitable for five people. It was clean but poorly maintained. The site was lovely, though, with good amenities."
Emma - Oct 2024
"Really loved the lodge, it was super comfy and well placed."
James - Sep 2024
"Nice spot, enjoyed the stay overall."
James - Aug 2024
"We really enjoyed the van; the lounge was comfy and spacious and the bedroom bed was super cosy. The kitchen was alright, though we think a round dining table wouldve made it better. Still, overall, a nice stay!"
Emma - Jul 2024
"Really comfy space, love the modern vibe and open layout."
Emma Carter - Jun 2024
"We loved how spotless the lodge was, honestly! The beds were super comfy and everything from linen to furniture felt brand new. No faults at all."
Emma Clarke - Jun 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was super clean and modern, just what we needed. WiFi wouldve been the cherry on top, but still a great trip overall."
Oliver - Mar 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay overall."
Emma Carter - Mar 2024
"Very comfortable and spotless stay overall."
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"Great spot with fantastic views, our kids absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend."
Emma Thompson - Nov 2023
"Really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was super roomy, well-equipped and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Definitely recommend!"
James - Jul 2023
"Really happy with the service"
Mark - Jul 2023
"We stayed at this caravan site recently and really enjoyed it. The location is perfect, just a short stroll to the town centre and the beach, which was ideal for us. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One thing to watch out for if you have kids - the tables have quite sharp edges and my son did bump his chin on one, which split open. Luckily, the first aider was lovely and took care of him. Thanks to the kind lady who helped him out!"
Emma - Jun 2023
"We really appreciated the layout and how well-equipped the place was with electricals and heating. The patio with chairs was a lovely touch for relaxing outside. That said, it wouldve been perfect if there were more baking trays and a shelf or cabinet in the shower room-having to go back and forth to the toilet to store gels and shampoos was a bit of a faff. We also found the hanging space a little limited."
Emma - May 2023
"Really enjoyed our stay, though the mattresses were a bit too firm."
Emma - May 2023
"Great spot, everything's within walking distance which saves hassle. Plus, there's plenty to keep you busy on-site too!"
Emma - May 2023
"Great experience, highly recommend"
Alex - Jul 2020
"We really enjoyed our four nights here. The holiday park was lovely and relaxed. Can't wait to return once restrictions ease. The deer safari in Snettisham is a must!"
Emma - Jul 2020
"We really enjoyed our stay; the place was modern and spotless, which we loved. The only hiccup was the shower temperature-either freezing or blazing hot, which was a bit frustrating. Still, we'd return!"
Laura Stevens - Jul 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay here."
Jamie - Feb 2020
"Weve visited quite a few caravan parks over the years and honestly, this was one of the cleanest caravans weve ever stayed in. Thanks so much!"
Emma - Feb 2020
"Looking forward to coming back, already planning next year's visit!"
Emma - Nov 2019
"Relaxing trip, would definitely do again"
Emma - Nov 2019
"Beds weren't made up, which was a bit disappointing, but overall, we were impressed."
Emma - Oct 2019
"Really enjoyed our stay, can't wait to come back soon!"
Alex - Oct 2019
"Came here mon-fri. Staff were welcoming throughout stay. Had a couple of minor issus they were dealt with promptly. Would recommend only thing is can't get in till 5 and out by 9.30. Also can't get on actual site till 2. Think should be able to be on site earlier."
Jenny - Jul 2022
"great place well run and looked after so much to do or as little if you just want to relax"
Alan - Jul 2022
"Fantastic site, facilities, accommodation, staff. No complaints whatsoever."
Doreen - Jul 2022
"The park is clean and well kept the caravan’s are very close together.not far to walk to sea front and Hunstanton."
David - Jul 2022
"Was an absolutely lovely holiday all round"
Sandra - Jul 2022
"Would go back again very good experience"
Alberta - Jul 2022
"We have enjoyed coming to you for years with our own children and this year we enjoyed it with our granddaughter thank you. Only issue we had was the late check in I understand the is more care needs to be taken with cleaning now but when you know your accommodation is ready and your just hanging around it becomes frustrating and not the best way to start your holiday."
Lesley - Jul 2022
"great accommodation and site"
Malcolm - Jun 2022
"Fantastic resort and excellent location right by the beach, fair and shops. We have a toddler and baby twins and there was so much for them to do. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, especially the pool staff. Caravan clean and spacious. The only downside was the splash pool was closed for 2 of the days of our stay due to an unforeseen maintenance issue. Nobodies fault but it was our young sons favourite activity."
Claire - Jun 2022
"I was on holiday with my elderly Mum and adult niece who has down syndrome. The Lodge was very quiet and private and spacious. The resort staff were very kind and helpful. We were blessed with wall to wall sunshine so we were able to take advantage of the outside pool which is lovely. We did find the food was a little basic and costly but went into Heacham and had a lovely meal. We have been before in a caravan and will return but only in a lodge as it was so open and airy."

Attractions Near Searles Leisure Resort

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Searles Leisure Resort. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 16 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 18 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 22 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 29 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 30 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 31 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 35 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
