Some lodges are pet friendly at this park meaning you don't have to leave anyone behind.

You can go sailing on the lake or relax in your own private hot tub and take in the scenery.  Nature lovers will be in their element at this park with walks and watersports including on sire wake-boarding right on the doorstep.

The charming town of Chester is just 10 miles from Delamere Lake Holiday Park where you can find great shopping and sight seeing as well as cafe culture.  There are plenty of unique independent shops to explore.

If you wanted to explore the region further there are so many recommended attractions.  For families then Go Ape Cheshire and Gulliver's World Theme Park are fantastic.

Delamere Lake Sailing and Holiday Park Reviews

"We had a great stay! The place was really warm, spotless and super comfy. Only tiny thing was the pillowcases felt a bit rough on our faces. Everything else was spot on though!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed the experience"
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"We stayed here with friends and woke up early to catch the sunrise at the misty lake - honestly, it was breathtaking! The location is so peaceful, perfect for unwinding. We took the dog for walks around the area, which he loved. The lodge had everything we needed: a hot tub, two double-headed showers and a nice bath. Although we didnt bring children, we noticed high chairs were available if needed. The kitchen was well equipped - dishwasher, easy-to-use oven and microwave - and there were thoughtful extras like sponges and washing up liquid in a cute little gift box, plus a handy guide to local attractions and facilities. The TV had Netflix, BBC iPlayer and standard channels, all straightforward to navigate. The place was spotless, towels were provided, but we brought our own just in case. Were already planning to come back soon - cant wait!"
Emily Carter - Mar 2025
"We had a fantastic time at the lodge, the view over the lake was stunning and it was so cosy. The hot tub was a real treat! Delameres peaceful setting made our spring break really special, highly recommend!"
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"Our Delamere Lake Sailing and Holiday Park review: Booking was straightforward and hassle-free, which was great. The Lodge was spotless and comfortable, plenty of space for our group of seven ladies. The hot tub was a good size for everyone. Staff were really helpful with our questions beforehand. The nearby pub offering a discount was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay again!"
Sarah - Feb 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay, perfect for relaxing weekends away."
Tommy - Jan 2025
"We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, it was lovely. The place was spotlessly clean, really spacious and the view over the lake was stunning. The hot tub was a big hit, especially since it was hot enough from the start, unlike some places. Beds were super comfy and parking right outside made things easy. Well definitely be back soon!"
Emma - Jan 2025
"We had a lovely time staying here! The lodge itself is stunning, really well kept. One thing that would help is adding a nest of tables and a rug by the patio doors - itd make getting out of the hot tub a lot easier and protect the floor. Our heating did cut out overnight Saturday, but the staff were super helpful about it. Hopefully we can come back soon!"
Emma - Jan 2025
"We recently spent a relaxing break at Delamere Lakeside and honestly, it was just what we needed. The setting is so peaceful and scenic, its perfect for a quick escape. Our lodge was spotless and beautifully furnished - super comfy beds made our nights really restful. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, it was pristine and truly relaxing after a busy day. We loved strolling around the area and since we brought the dog, it was great to find plenty of dog-friendly spots - Cheshire Oaks nearby was perfect for some shopping and Blu loved exploring the shops! We did have a small quibble about not having a hairdryer in the lodge, but thats a minor thing really. The staff, especially Bob, were lovely and reassuring, making us feel welcome even though we were on our own with our little pup. All in all, a peaceful retreat and well be back for sure!"
Emily - Dec 2024
"Beautiful, quiet place, well be back for sure."
Emma - Dec 2024
"Great stay, loved the peaceful lakeside and the hot tub was a bonus!"
Rachel - Dec 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was spotless and had all we needed. Cant wait to come back, especially in summer to enjoy the lake view and the hot tub. Definitely recommend!"
Emma Carter - Dec 2024
"Overall, a lovely stay but a bit disappointing that the hot tub only fits eight."
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"Beautiful spot, would recommend it."
Emma - Oct 2024
"We had a pretty decent stay overall. The setting by the lake was really lovely, with well-maintained grounds and a peaceful vibe that made it perfect for unwinding. The whole experience was contactless, which we appreciated - everything from check-in to key collection was via an app on our phones, so no need to chat with staff if you dont want to. The accommodation itself was quite modern, with a sleek, contemporary look. The bed was comfy and all the bedding and towels were spotless and fresh, which was nice. Only real downside was the amount of long black hairs we found on the bathroom floor, which wasnt ours. Also, the lodge felt a bit on the small side - more like an updated caravan than a spacious lodge, especially compared to some places weve stayed for less. Still, its a quiet, chilled spot wed return to for sure!"
Amelia - Oct 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was perfect and well equipped."
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"We had a lovely day, everything was spotless and well organised, thank you!"
Emily Carter - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed the whole experience"
Emma - Sep 2024
"We had a lovely stay at Delamere Lake recently. The location was spot on, just about a 20-minute drive from Darsbury, which was perfect for our trip to the Creamfields Festival. The whole site is really well looked after and the facilities were better than we expected - everything we needed was there. The lodges were super comfortable and had all the gear we could want, making for a really peaceful break. We did have a bit of trouble with the entrance barriers, which are managed by a third-party security firm. The security guy answering the bell often didnt respond quickly, which was a bit annoying. Not really the parks fault, but maybe they should think about switching to a more reliable security company. That said, the staff at the reception and during checkout were brilliant - really friendly and helpful. Overall, apart from that small hiccup, it was a fantastic trip and wed definitely recommend Delamere Lake if you want a relaxing getaway with great amenities!"
George - Aug 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was roomy and perfect for three generations. Location was spot on, just a shame about the drain smell and missing bulbs."
Emma - Aug 2024
"The place was spotless and looked brand new, really impressive. The hot tub was also lovely and clean, which we loved. Overall, a great experience!"
Emma - Aug 2024
"Very comfortable stay, loved the cosy atmosphere"
Emma - Jul 2024
"We had such a lovely girls' weekend here! The lodge was really nice, but honestly, the best part was waking up to the lakeside view - absolutely breathtaking. The staff were fantastic and sorted out a small problem really quickly. Would definitely come back!"
Emma Carter - Jun 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay here. The view of the lake was stunning and having a private beach was definitely a highlight for us! Would come back again."
Emma Carter - Apr 2024
"The lodge was stunning, with lovely lake views and a really clean, cosy feel inside."
Emma - Mar 2024
"We had a lovely stay, felt quite homely overall. A few pans could do with replacing, but thats understandable. The place was very clean, which we appreciated. Only small gripe was finding some old contact lenses near the bedside table, which shouldve been vacuumed up. Still, it was a nice trip!"
Emma - Mar 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay, even though it was just five miles from home. The scenery was breathtaking and it was so peaceful overall."
Emma - Feb 2024
"We had a great stay overall. The lodge was squeaky clean and modern, plus having the hot tub was such a nice bonus. We appreciated the privacy too. Only thing was, its not clear you need to request late check-out 48 hours in advance-when we asked last minute, they said no. Still, wed come back!"
Emma - Jan 2024
"We loved our stay! The lodge was so peaceful, with comfy, spotless beds. Perfect spot by the lake. Definitely recommend for a relaxing break."
Emily - Jan 2024
"We had a really nice stay at the lodge. The view over the lake was absolutely stunning and the hot tub was a lovely touch - kept perfectly clean by the staff every day. Everything from the booking to check-out was smooth; we didnt even need to visit reception since everything was handled by phone, including the door lock, which was really convenient. The lodge itself was spotless and cosy, though we did have a small hiccup with the heating when we arrived. A quick call to reception and someone was there within five minutes to sort it out, so no complaints there. The only downside was the en-suite shower - the head was loose and sprayed water everywhere, so we couldnt use it properly. The main bathroom shower was fine, though. Also, the plates and mugs couldve been cleaner - some food was still on the plates and there were sticky tea stains in the mugs. But overall, we loved the place and would definitely come back!"
Emma - Dec 2023
"The lodge was of very high standard, clean, had everything we needed. Hot tub was spotless and staff checked it daily. Surroundings were beautiful. We even had a dip in the lake. Have booked again."
Laura - Jul 2022
"We went away in a big family group which made the cost very reasonable. I was worried it might feel small for 8 of us but it didn’t. The facilities were great and the hot tub an added extra. We would have liked more dishwasher tablets and slightly comfier beds but everything else was perfect. The lake and park is very pretty and a tranquil retreat. We went into Chester as it’s quite close by (£25 in a taxi.). This was great as we were able to come home to the lodge as a base."
Rachel - Jul 2022
"Stunning location we had a lodge with a jetty on the water , would recommend this for full experience if you like water sports or just watching the wildlife. With lake delamrere wild shore wake park on the the same lake it was great to have this right at hand super fun . But you could not see it from lodges so you would not know it was there if you just wanted to relax ."
Kerry - Jul 2022
"Excellent lodge, very clean and in a great location. We will come back"
Mohamed - Jun 2022
"Had an amazing holiday and relaxing week gorgeous views to wake up to. Great hot tub our second visit here we can’t wait to go again! Lodge was outstanding."
DEBBIE - May 2022
"Lovely 3 night stay, close to Chester town and Cheshire oaks. Would recommend."
