Colliery Lane Lodges Reviews

"Overall, it's a pretty decent place, but it could really use a few more essentials. With 12 girls sharing one lodge, some extra oven trays, oil and toilet rolls would make life so much easier. Still, we had a good time!"
Emily - Nov 2023
"We stayed at the cottage recently and really enjoyed our time there, but it does need some TLC. The skirting boards and sofa cushions are quite worn and the door upstairs has a big hole covered by a sign. Also, adding curtains or blinds upstairs would make it feel more cosy. Still, a lovely place overall."
Emma - Oct 2023
"Great place, will be back soon!"
Emma - Aug 2020
"We had a fantastic time and the teenagers loved the hot tub, even in the rain!"
Sam - Aug 2020
"Our Colliery Lane Lodges review: The place is fantastic overall, but the mattresses could be a bit more comfy, honestly! Great venue though."
Emma - Aug 2020
"We had a lovely, chilled-out stay - exactly what we needed. The staff were super friendly, especially the guy looking after the hot tubs. Well be back for sure!"

"We really enjoyed our stay! The area was lovely and the staff were super friendly. The marque was nice, though a bit quiet now. Cant wait for it to get busier!"
Emma - Jul 2020
"We had a relaxing holiday with loads of activities for the kids. Fishing was a highlight too, especially with affordable gear at just £17.50 all day!"
Tom - Jul 2020
"We stayed at Colliery Lane Lodges from Friday to Sunday and honestly, it was a lovely getaway. The staff were really friendly and quick to help when we had a couple of minor hiccups on arrival-sorted within half an hour. Definitely recommend for a chill break!"
Emma Roberts - Jul 2020
"We recently stayed at this lovely spot and honestly, it was such a treat! The cabins were spotless and cosy and the hot tub was definitely the star of the show. Our kids loved the park and theres a peaceful fishing lake nearby which we really enjoyed. One thing to note is that when we booked, it mentioned a BBQ was included, which was great, but it turns out its actually a fire pit/bbq combo. The extra £65 for the gas and grill plates caught us off guard, so itd be handy if that was clearer during booking. Still, wed happily come back - its a gorgeous place and well worth it!"
Harper - Jul 2020
"Absolutely loved our stay! The place was fantastic and were already planning another visit. Cant wait to come back soon!"
Emma - Jul 2020
"The cottage was really spacious and well-equipped, plus that hot tub was definitely a highlight!"

Alex - Feb 2020
"The bed in the double room wasnt the most comfy, but the singles were spot on! We enjoyed our stay."
Emma - Feb 2020
"Really impressed with the details"
Emma - Jan 2020
"We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Cadley lodge. It definitely exceeded our expectations - so much more spacious and cosy than we thought. My partner and I went away for a quick two-night break, just the two of us and honestly, all we did was unwind. The hot tub was a real highlight, we spent quite a bit of time in there. When we had a tiny mix-up with the temperature, the staff member onsite was super helpful and came straight over to sort it out. All in all, a 10/10 experience and were already planning to come back for another chillout soon!"
Oliver - Jan 2020
"The lodge was really stylish and felt quite fresh compared to the accessible one, which was a bit outdated. Overall, it was a lovely place and perfect for a weekend getaway. Wed go back!"
Emma Carter - Jan 2020
"We loved the spacious lodge and warm hot tub. Staff were really friendly too!"
Emma - Dec 2019
"Really enjoyed the lodges overall, but the beds could use an upgrade for a more comfortable sleep."

"We visited for my sisters birthday the lodge was lovely really spacious and had everything we could need. We had one minor issue whilst on site we called the number in the guest book and the staff were with us in a matter of minutes they were really helpful nothing was too much. I’d highly recommend. We will be returning with our children as it is a great site for all x"
Stacy - Jul 2022

Charlotte - Jul 2022
"Had the best break with family and friends. My daughter uses a wheelchair and the lodge was ideal. Loved the big decking, fire pit table and hot tub, also had good night in the marquee. Will be booking again for next year"
Amanda - Jul 2022
"We had a lovely week here. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The lodge was a great size and we had everything we needed. It was lovely and clean. The hot tub was lovely and was checked and cleaned each morning. We didn't do any fishing but spoke to others who did and they were catching plenty. The site is very well laid out and very tidy. The bar was very reasonably priced. The kids loved the football pitch, trampoline and Slushies! We hope to return next year."
Jamie - Jul 2022
"Had best time ever lovely clean site friendly staff definitely will return"
Gillian - Jul 2022
"Great Lodge, loads of room, hot tub excellent, was inspected and cleaned every day. Location was good, close to Conkers, Moira Furnace, and not too far to Drayton Manor, Warwick Castle. Staff very friendly, after reading previous reviews which were pretty mixed was pleasantly surprised, all very good, we could nix pick for a few more cooking trays etc.. Shower head hose was leaking and informed staff, was fixed that day (I wish people that complain would ask as nothing seamed to be a bother). A little bit of noise came from the marque tent but this stopped after 10:30pm. Kids loved the play area which included a bouncy castle."
Verified Guest - Jul 2022
"Fabulous girly weekend away . Beautiful clean lodge . Only negative is that the glasses were sparse ."
