"The lodge was in a lovely quiet spot at the top of the site. It was very clean except for stains on the carpet. We enjoyed using the sauna and jacuzzi bath in the lodge. The lodge was very hot despite turning all the heating off. I was glad to have requested a sheet to use instead of the duvet and a fan. Even though it was a mid week break the pool was too busy for us to use as it had a lot of noisy children in it each time we tried to go for a swim in the afternoons as it has local members who use the pool. The lodge living area / kitchen was smaller than we expected."

Alton Towers is one of the UK's largest and most popular theme parks, set in over 500 acres of Staffordshire countryside. Tip: Bring coins or a bank card for the Dovedale car park, or use Ilam Park's car park instead. Tickets aren't valid at both, and the paths have uneven surfaces, steps and stiles.
