Woodside Lodges Country Park Reviews

"Honestly, we had a lovely stay! The place is super spacious, with a massive decked and roofed patio thats perfect for breakfast or just chilling out while watching the wildlife. Its also really secure, which was great for our dogs. The lower tiled terrace is ideal for soaking up the sun in the afternoon or evening. Inside, everythings well thought out; theres even an external hose by the front door for muddy paws and a handy utility room. The underfloor heating and log burner kept us cosy, even on cooler nights. The hallway is roomy and has plenty of hooks for coats and bags. Upstairs, the third bedroom and landing are lovely - bright and airy but still really cosy. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, making it easy for five of us to cook and eat comfortably. And the beds! All adult-sized, which we really appreciated, especially after busy days. The views of the lawns and copses add to the peaceful, relaxing vibe. Wed definitely come back!"
Alex Morgan - Oct 2024
"Weve just come back from another lovely stay here. The lodge is always spotless, well kitted out and the staff are really friendly and helpful. This year, we did run into a few small issues, but Helen, one of the owners, was quick to jump in and sort things out. She assured us everything would be fixed before our next trip, which was reassuring. Weve started to look forward to this holiday every year, especially because we love bringing our dogs along and exploring the local dog-friendly pubs. Theres a good variety of accommodation options and pitches, plus stunning scenery nearby. Only thing Id suggest is maybe swapping the food truck next year - the pizza wasnt quite worth the price, in our opinion. But overall, a great spot to unwind!"
Emma - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed the experience"
Alex Morgan - Jun 2024

Emily - Apr 2024
"Our Woodside Lodges Country Park review: We had such a wonderful time at Woodside Lodges! The Kites Nest VIP was perfect for our week-long stay - spacious enough to relax and move around comfortably. Even with our two small dogs, there was plenty of room and lovely walks nearby, which they loved. The scenery around the lodges is really calming and the town of Ledbury is just a short drive away; we enjoyed a fantastic Sunday lunch at the Prince of Wales public house, which is very dog friendly. The staff and owners made us feel very welcome, adding to the peaceful vibe of the place. Thanks for a lovely break - were already hoping to return soon!"
Emily Carter - Apr 2024

Emma - Aug 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was super roomy and the veranda perfect for relaxing outdoors. Would recommend!"
Mark - Aug 2020
"Lovely, relaxing break"
Claire - Aug 2020
"Overall, wed give it a solid 9 out of 10. The lodge itself is fantastic and the park is really lovely, especially in the winter when its a bit quieter. The only downside we found was the fly problem during July. We had to leave early to give the lodge a proper clean, which was understandable, but then we were told to open the windows before leaving. Thats when the flies really became a nuisance - there were loads in the kitchen and it was pretty off-putting. Its such a shame because otherwise, everything was perfect. Its definitely a place wed consider visiting again in the colder months, but summer flies are a real issue. Would be great if they could sort that out!"
Charlotte - Jul 2020
"We stayed at Woodside Lodges recently and honestly, theyve done a brilliant job with all the safety measures following government guidelines. The place itself is stunning and the staff genuinely seem to care about guests wellbeing. Cant recommend it enough!"
Sam - Jul 2020
"Looking forward to our next visit!"
Chris - Mar 2020
"We really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was spotless and beautifully set in such a lovely area. The fire and sauna were perfect touches that added to the relaxing vibe. There were six of us, aged 23 to 52and everyone loved it. Would definitely come back!"
Emma W. - Mar 2020
"Looking forward to next years stay already!"
Alex - Mar 2020
"We had such a lovely stay from start to finish! The lodge was super cosy and warm, perfect after a day out. We loved having the kitchen at our disposal and the log burner made everything feel extra homely. Sadly, we didnt get to try the sauna this time, but next visit, we definitely will. Our big dog was totally at ease - there was loads of space for everyone to spread out. The dishwasher was a real treat, something we dont usually get on holiday, so it was great to just load up and relax with some board games instead of doing pots. Honestly, well be back!"
Emma - Feb 2020
"Overall, a cosy stay with decent amenities. Wouldve liked some extra toilet rolls and salt, but Tescos nearby, so no big deal!"

"Looking forward to visiting again soon."

"My partner and I took our 6 month old puppy to one of the log cabins at Woodside Lodges. We had the best week! The cabin was perfect, the campsite was so beautiful with lots of nice walks to take the puppy on. There is a lake which we took him swimming for the first time. We travelled into the Cotswolds each day which was only 45-50 minutes away to some gorgeous little towns. We’re already looking forward to going back. I would highly recommend staying at Woodside Lodges. Thank you for a memorable week"
Katy - Jul 2022
"What an absolute gem of a place! The lodge was pristine, and well equipped right down to dishwasher tablets! The bed and pillows were comfy and it was sooo quiet and peaceful. The conservation area was magical, could have sat there all day, a great place to relax and connect with nature. The staff were so incredibly kind, and friendly, and helpful. Can’t wait to be back! Thank you all, for looking after us and Luna!"
