Just off the entrance hall is the ground floor bedroom ‘sycamore’ which can either be a twin or superking room depending on your preference. Equip with a smart TV, a shower room opposite and direct access to the lounge area and dining room, this bedroom caters perfectly for less able guests.
Also on the ground floor are the kitchen, lounging and dining areas. Cook up delightful meals in the open kitchen, home to all the utensils you could wish for. If cooking isn’t for you, head to the local pub, another nearby restaurant or treat yourself to a takeaway. Eat around the excellent oak table before retiring to the lounge area. The added convenience of a dishwasher and fridge with water dispenser allows you to spend more quality time with family and friends, and less time washing up.
There’s even a wine cooler, superb for chilling a white wine or Prosecco to enjoy on the patio, overlooking the rolling hills. The patio can be accessed from sliding doors located in the living room. Open these during the summer to allow a cool breeze into the room while watching Netflix on the smart TV or lounging on the sofa with a book. A utility room with a hoover, washer drier, clothes horse, iron and ironing board can also be found on this level.
Moving upstairs, the first floor is home to three more bedrooms. ‘Rowan’ boasts a king size bed while ‘Holly’ can be either a twin room or a superking if preferred. The master bedroom, ‘Maple’, has a superking bed, a smart TV and an en suite with bath, shower, toilet and hand basin. Each room is light and spacious with a modern yet homely feel.
Old Barn House has just as much to offer with its exterior as it does interior. A lovely selection of rattan furniture would make a brilliant spot for al fresco dining, a barbeque, or just to play some card games in the last light of the evening.
