"We just got back from a wonderful week at Goddards Mead. The cottage had everything we needed, really well stocked. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel at home. Despite being on a farm, it was such a peaceful spot, loved it!"

"We stayed in this lovely lodge with 5 adults, a baby and our dog-plenty of space. The hot tub was a real highlight! Beds were comfy, just right for everyone. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!"

"We stayed in the caravan and honestly, it was pretty great. The size was just right and the beds were comfy enough for a good sleep. The kitchen had all the essentials, so cooking was hassle-free. It was spotlessly clean too, with thoughtful touches like tea towels, bin liners and even little bottles of shampoo and washing up liquid. Plus, if you bring a dog, theres a basket, blanket and bowls which is a lovely touch!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely little spot. The setting was really private and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The owners were super friendly and always happy to help if needed, but they also respected our privacy. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling. Only thing to note is that its right under the flight path at Stansted, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. Took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but it didnt ruin our holiday at all. Definitely recommend!"

"Overall, we had a decent stay. The caravans were pretty tidy and well-equipped, with everything we needed, though the oven was slow-took ages to cook anything! The beds were comfy, but dont expect much room. Biggest downside was the lack of privacy; the hot tub and terrace are overlooked by the neighbouring caravan, which also has a clear view of your windows. We ended up keeping curtains shut most of the time. A screen or privacy glass would make a big difference!"

"The caravans are clean and have most things you need. Oven takes forever to cook but is perfectly usable. Beds are comfortable but don't expect alot of space.Biggest let down is privacy - hot tub and terrace are overlooked by the adjoining caravan which also is in direct sight of your windows, we had to keep our curtains closed so maybe a screen or privacy glass put in would help."

"We had a really lovely stay! Sharon and Robert were such welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home. The place had everything we needed - super clean, comfy and secure for our dog Archie. The location was perfect, with loads of nice walks around and charming villages like Thaxted nearby. Honestly, it was just what we needed to recharge our batteries and enjoy some proper relaxation. Definitely recommend!"

"We loved the cottage! Its perfectly tucked away but still close enough to essentials. The hot tub was fantastic after a day out and the underfloor heating made it super cosy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie were lovely hosts. Can't wait to return for a longer stay soon!"

"Two things that i would like to see are somewhere to get vegi food and bacon butties/brunch/hot drinks in a morning."

"Excellent food including wood fire pizza, traditional fish and chips and burgers, crepes, ice cream. Bed extremely comfortable. Type of customers are disappointing as they complained over prices which were actually reflective of the current climate. Seagulls noisy, but still had a great sleep. Really helpful staff and good evening entertainment."

"The location is great, it has direct access to the beach. There are plenty of food options and we found the pricing very reasonable. The caravan was great too, it had everything we needed for our stay and It was spotlessly clean. The location of the caravan was also great, at first we were a little concerned as it was right next to the pool but there wasn’t too much noise apart from the seagulls on the roof. The park facilities such as the pool and entertainment were also good. We took our 3 year old granddaughter and she had a great time, there was plenty to keep her entertained.The staff were all friendly and more than happy to help. The only negative thing was the chippy. They only cook one order at a time which caused a backlog and long waiting time. We would definitely recommend this park and would return."

"Lovely site in a fabulous location. The caravan was first rate and we had a warm welcome from the staff. Lost a point for on site facilities as we didn't use all of them so can't comment, but there was plenty to do! Would definitely visit again and recommend. (Remember to log out of your Netflix when you leave...!) ?"

Superb location, onsite facilities are brilliant, staff are friendly and so helpful, evening entertainment in the club is brilliant. Everything is very clean.

Would recommend 100%. Defo booking again for 2023"
