"Our St Ives Holiday Village review: Weve stayed here annually, but this years lodge was a letdown. It was tiny with a poor layout and the space for food was non-existent since its meant to be self-catering. No wardrobe space either. Even with just two of us, it felt really cramped, despite being listed as a 6-8 berth."

"We had a fantastic time at this place, honestly! The site has everything we could need and the atmosphere by the pool was just lovely-music playing, floats floating around and a fun slide too. Theres a park right next to the pool, but we also discovered a hidden one tucked away in the forest, which was a nice little surprise. Location-wise, its really convenient for heading to St Ives or Penzance, with a bus stop right there and the train station just about five minutes away, so getting around was super easy. The Rafters restaurant served up some great food and we couldnt fault the service at all. Every staff member we met, from the shop guy to the bar staff and pool helpers, were so friendly and helpful. Cristina and the office team also did a cracking job, sorting out little issues quickly. But honestly, the entertainment team was the highlight-so much fun and really went above and beyond. They offered loads of activities both during the day and at night and all four of the stripeys worked brilliantly together, adapting to whatever came up. Heather, Dane, Kelsey and Neeve really made our holiday special. Were already planning to come back in June-cant wait!"

"Honestly, we were a bit disappointed with the lodge. It supposed to be br and new, but it had a strange smell and stained seating that didnt quite look fresh. The bathroom radiator was rusty and the sink plugs didnt work at all, which was annoying. The fridge wasnt fixed properly either - just a small thing, but when you pay for platinum, you expect better attention to detail. On the bright side, the beds were really comfy and the main room was massive, plus the heating and shower were spot on. Wouldve been great to have smart TVs, especially since the weather kept us indoors most of the time. Not perfect, but okay overall."

"We had a really pleasant week at St Ives Holiday Village. One of the best bits was definitely the bus service that drops you right into St Ives Town, saving us the hassle of parking there - which is a nightmare! Our lodge was super peaceful, perfect for us since we love staying up late and playing cards. It was nice to know we werent disturbing anyone. The only hiccup was the kitchen tap coming loose, but we reported it and it was fixed the very next day - quick service! Overall, wed happily come back and recommend it to friends. "We recently tried our first caravan holiday and honestly, we had a great experience at St Ives Holiday Park. The layout of the site made everything easy to find and relax. The caravan itself was spot-on - comfy, clean and clearly looked after well. We were a bit worried about what to bring, but it turned out we didnt need to pack much because everything was provided, including all the tableware. The bathroom was really nice, especially the second toilet in the main bedroom - a real bonus! The place was warm and cosy and it felt like a home away from home. Cornwall is stunning and the location is super convenient - Tescos just a few minutes away and Carbis Bay Beach is either a short drive or a lovely 30-minute walk. Well definitely be back!"

"The holiday was pretty good overall. The lodge was absolutely stunning, which was a real highlight for us. The swimming pool queue system was a bit of a pain, only managed to swim once, probably due to Covid rules. Sad about the arcade being closed, but still had a lovely week nonetheless."

The portions were decent, but honestly, it seemed pricey for what we got. The food was okay, not terrible, but definitely not worth the cost in our opinion. Overall, not the best value, but it wasnt awful either. Might try somewhere else next time."
