"Weve stayed in quite a few lodges over the years and honestly, this one really stood out. The little extras like a welcome pack, tea, coffee and basic kitchen supplies made a real difference - its those small touches that count. The park itself is super peaceful, perfect if youre after some serious R&R with no noisy distractions. The only hiccup was the bed; it wasnt the most comfy, so catching some good sleep was a bit tricky. We didnt interact much with the staff, but when our boiler broke down, they responded really quickly and sorted it out fast. One thing to note is that the lodge was listed as Dream View on my booking, but actually called Aubrey. Maybe the website needs a quick update on that. Overall, a lovely stay!"

"Just stayed here for the 3rd time. Me and my partner just love to come chill and unwind. We dont go out as we both enjoy cooking and the well equipped kitchen in the lodge are perfect. On this occasion we noticed there was a couple of things missing but after letting reception staff know we had a brand new full set of utensils delivered to the door. The hot tub is the perfect way to unwind. The big bonus at this time of year is that there are some lodges with undercover tubs so regardless of the weather you can still enjoy a relaxing dip with your favourite tipple. . Cant wait to book our next visit."

"We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was spotlessly clean and really cosy inside. The garden was fully enclosed, which was perfect for our little dog - we could relax knowing she was safe. My partner enjoyed the free golf included, which was a nice bonus. The surrounding area around Laceby was perfect for walks and its only about 20 minutes by car to Cleethorpes beach. Wed definitely return!"

The owners, Robert and Sharon, are such lovely people, making us feel welcome from the start. The place itself is surprisingly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bed was super comfy and the garden, which is dog-proof and furnished nicely, was perfect for relaxing. There are plenty of scenic walks nearby and Thaxted has some cracking restaurants-The Star and The Maypole being our favourites. Wed definitely recommend it!"

"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The lodges location is fantastic, right by the golf course and having a dedicated parking space was a bonus. The hot tub at the front was lovely and with the privacy screen, it felt quite secluded despite facing the main path. We did have some minor internet issues, but the staff sorted it out quickly, which was great. Its a lovely spot for a relaxing break!"

"We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, it was lovely. The place was spotless, super tidy and the decor was really modern and fresh - you could tell they take pride in keeping it up. The little touches, like the light-up tree, added a nice cosy vibe that we adored. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of towels and toilet rolls, which is always a bonus. The private hot tub was a real highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and a washer-dryer, which came in handy daily for our swimwear and towels! Bathrooms were huge and spotless and the overall cleanliness throughout was impressive-credit to whoever does the cleaning. We also appreciated the WiFi, which was great once we managed to connect; it was a bit tricky at first but no big deal. The lounge area was spacious, with comfy sofas and a massive TV with Sky - perfect for chillin. We liked that check-in was hassle-free, just arriving straight to the lodge without fussing at reception. The vacuum was there too, which I used on the last day to tidy up crumbs - small thing but shows they pay attention. Only tiny thing was a few old marks on the mattress cover, but since it looked washed, it didnt bother us. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and cant wait to come back!"

"We had a really good stay overall. The room was spotless and quite spacious, which was great. The reception staff were friendly and always willing to help us out. The only odd thing was the restaurant - it was empty but they still said we couldnt eat there because it was reserved for spa guests. That was a bit strange, especially since no one else was around. Weve stayed here a few times and will definitely come back!"

"I can't really comment on staff as we didn't see anyone, apart from the guy in the bar. The bar closed at 6 on the Monday we arrived, the restaurant was closed & only opened till 4 or 6 on the remaining 3 days we were there. As it's a golf resort we were expecting the restaurant & bar to be open later to cater for the golfers. We found some lovely pubs & cafes in/on the way to Waltham though. Lodge was beautiful & the setting is very quiet. Had a very relaxing stay."
