"Great lodge with lovely modern appliances, great furniture and spotlessly clean. Hot tub is amazing and the bathrooms are lovely too. The inhouse bose speaker was such a nice addition too."

"Nice loge and swim spa Tyres to be 5 star with fancy soap and conditioner robes and slippers, but it is not.No instructions on how to operate the heating and fire, washing machine dishwasher oven and microwave Just a lake of general information on the loge and facilities."

"Our Kielder Waterside review: Lovely little lodge, lush seeing all the birds in the day and foxes and hearing owls late on. Only thing was the washer was very noisy and under the sink leaked a little when washing up, but had a lovely weeks stay here :)"

"We spent a wonderful week at Kielder Waterside. Beautiful location, great facilities, friendly and helpful staff and lots of things to do for adults and children alike. Our daughter loved the Bird of Prey Centre and the swimming pool and our son could not get enough of Kids Drive Time. I would highly recommend Kielder Waterside for a fantastic family holiday!"

"The lodge was great"

"It was a lovely cabin."

"What a wonderful time we had at Kielder. The lodge was comfy and well equipped and having the hot tub was a winner with our teenage children in particular. The setting is beautiful and there is plenty to do and lots of lovely walks. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a great menu, lovely food and also very friendly staff. Overall we had a fantastic time and would recommend."

"We usually like to book Falstone BBQ and Elf Kirk is just that little bit smaller. That is made up for by the beautiful view from the decking."

"Our lodge was clean, spacious and really well equipped. Robes, slippers and a bottle of fizz in the fridge were a lovely touch. We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub. WiFi was really fast and the smart tv in the living room meant we could use iPlayer, Netflix etc when needed."

"Great Cabin, best views"

"We stayed in a dog friendly lodge with a hot tub. We found all staff to be very friendly and helpful, including those on reception, restaurant and running activities. The lodge was clean, well equipped and came with some treats for the dog and a bottle of prosecco for us which was a nice touch. Well thought out set up and facilities, including the games room, pool and restaurant. Loads to do and great walks on the doorstep. Hot tub was always warm and robes and slippers were nice too. Two things to mention, neither are a criticism just things to be aware of. First, the midges are a real pain. They do provide spray and a citronella candle but please do consider bringing your own stuff and long sleeves etc. we all got bitten a lot! It's a lake and forest so perfect conditions for them....Secondly, I think important to let visitors know about an invasive plant on the lakeside way called Piri Piri burs if you are bringing a dog. I had never seen or heard of these before. Our dog walked through a patch of low growing plants on a grass verge, what I thought was clover, but was actually Piri Piri. She was badly covered and tangled in burs which was really very stressful and distressing to unpick and cut out (it took hours). I mentioned it to a couple of people on reception and they weren't aware (probably only notice if you have a dog)Please look them up and be aware of what they look like before you go."

"Lovely lodge. Clean and very well equipped. Nice and spacious with great hot tub."

"We have stayed at the Lewisburn Spa twice before and chose this lodge specifically because of its corner position. Lovely and clean with all necessary equipment and more."

"5 stars first class lodge, a real luxury , absolutely gorgeous! Quality throughout - was perfect for our special occasion , loved it!"

"Great place to stay. Fantastic view & hot tub a bonus.Comfortable accommodation and plenty of family space.Welcome pack & games board well thought out."

"I loved it and the fishing was great ."

"My lodge was cleaned to a high standard, better than on some other visits if Im honest. Everything was just perfect. No complaints. Obviously lots of work has been going on around the park. Lots of trees down and new well positioned bushes and shrubs for screening which is better at offering privacy for the hot tubs."

"Great location and cabin was excellent. Nice touch on the extras added (Prosecco, marshmallows, etc)."

"Lodge31. Loved the setting and the view was fantastic. The lodge would benefit from more comfortable settees and the decking areas require a tidy up ."

"Fabulous destination , beautiful and peaceful The lodge had everything we needed and more"
