The lodge itself is fantastic. Incredibly well designed, the aesthetics are very relaxing and it's a great place to be. The hot tub was fantastic. The kitchen and all of the other areas of the lodge are well equipped and the cleanliness on arrival was truly second to none. They've thought of all eventualities and that's important when you're renting a lodge like this. Towels were provided for showering and hottub. There is a washing machine is required, dishwasher was provided to us with 3 tablets one for each night, and as we were still coming out of summer, they left fans for us as well which were needed on one of the nights. The views of the hills opposite are spectacular and it's a lovely place to be whether in the hot tub or sitting on the front of the lodge with a coffee in the morning. The lodge is touching distance to Welshpool and we used Alltrails to find some nice morning hikes on each of our full days there. One thing to note, we did feel that the mattress perhaps could have been better quality, however other than that I don't think we could fault it. We 100 would recommend this lodge to family and friends!

Fantastic lodge to stay. Great views and certainly peaceful. Lodge was in great condition and very clean. The owners greeted us on arrival which was very helpful.

Pool view was beautiful it had everything you would need. Very clean on arrival hosts were lovely. views were to die for perfect place to relax and recharge and hot tub was an added bonus also.

This was our 3rd time at Pool View, and as always it was spotlessly clean and perfectly maintained. David and Sonia go above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect for their guests, always pleasant and polite but still give you privacy to enjoy the lodge. Our hosts Sonia and Dave were lovely hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The lodge was lovely. Very peaceful and the views were exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The most amazing accommodation and hosts. Very modern and comfortable with some of the best views and a private hot tub. The cows in the distant fields are very entertaining. A hidden gem for relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic property. Wonderful to look at and to live in. Everything that you could have possibly needed was there to hand. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Great nights sleep in comfy beds Plenty of storage for clothes and personal bits and pieces. Bathrooms very modern with hot water always available even when all four of us wanted baths and showers.. The outside was not forgotten. Comfortable seating to sit outside to admire the views, picnic table for outside eating and even a hot tub for relaxing in whilst admiring the stars. The best bit? The wonderful, magnificent, peaceful setting. I will return and can't recommend it enough.

The lodge is immaculate, very well equipped and very comfortable. The views are amazing and the location is very peaceful and quiet. David gave us a tour on arrival and showed us how everything worked and was available if we needed anything. We would definitely recommend this lodge, the hot tub made for perfect relaxing after a day exploring and we cant wait to go back!

We would like to say a really big thank you to Sonia & David. We had the most wonderful relaxing weekend for our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Everything was PERFECT, the lodge is absolutely beautiful, with the most amazing views. The hot tub was FANTASTIC and so were the views. The lodge was immaculately clean and appeared as though no one else had stayed in it. We have got the most wonderful memories of our weekend stay.

Swarms of flies, we couldnt have any windows open throughout our stay. We couldnt prepare food until we spent two hours spraying and sweeping them up.I did mention fly screens but I wasnt listened to. A shame because its easily fixable. Luckily we had some fans, other wise it would have been unbearable. We werent shown how to use tv or cooker hob. The hob just went on & off no matter what we did, and we had to get rid of apps on the tv every time before we could watch it. The door handles were very loud and squeaky. Ensuite shower room was too small with no shelves for soap etc. Apart from that, a beautiful place.

Loved our stay at Pool View lodge last week. As soon as we arrived we we're greeted by David the owner who showed us around the lodge and explained how everything works and where everything could be found. Absolutely beautiful lodge with stunning views! Hot tub is spotless and maintained regularly throughout the week by David. The beds and sofa are so comfortable, and there was plenty of towels, blankets, toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc. They had lots of games for our daughter to play with. I could go on and on about how great this lodge is! We can't wait to go back
