"Overall, we thought it was quite a good stay. The place was spotless when we arrived and everything worked well during our time there. We did find it a bit pricey for just two people, but since its a lodge meant for five, it makes sense. The bathroom heater was out at first, but they sorted it quickly - good service! Wed stay again."

"We stayed in the sleep 9 lodge and really enjoyed it. The space is fantastic, perfect for our group. The hot tub was a lovely bonus after long walks. Speaking of walks, the surrounding area is stunning, with some great local pubs that welcome dogs, which was a big plus for us. Only thing to note is that theres no grass near the bigger lodge, so youll need to walk downhill a bit for your dogs. Also, dont forget to bring £1 coins for the electricity meter - we missed that! Overall, a great stay!"

"We had a lovely stay! The place was really clean and surprisingly spacious. The owners were super friendly and made us feel welcome. The location is perfect if you're into walking - it's central to some stunning trails. The nearest town is a bit hilly, about 3 miles on foot, but only 1.5 miles by car. Our energetic lab, Bear, loved the walks and all the fuss he got at the Bear Inn. Well definitely be back!"

"Lovely place to stay accommodation was clean very well kitted out with necessities to make for a comfortable stay. Host were amazing nothing was too much trouble. A larger area for kids to run around somewhere within the site would have been an added bonus. Scenery was lovely felt in the heart of the countryside. Hot tub area was private and not overlooked used the games room multiple times kids loved it and all very good value for money. Private pool was well worth a visit clean warm and plenty of toys for kids. would love to return for another stay."

"Lovely setting, the lodge was clean and everything you could need was there . It’s peaceful and full of wonderful wildlife all around. A bit too hilly for walking for me and roads around don’t have paths always. The villages near are really friendly and most shops and pubs are dog friendly."
