"There were four adults and three children staying in the caravan. The living room, kitchen/dining areas and decking area were really spacious. However the bedrooms were extremely tight space wise it was a struggle to move around the bedrooms. No space for storage, empty suitcases had to placed in cars. We had a toddler with us and the lock on the entrance gate to the caravan and decking had no key and there was no way of locking this. We were advised by the reception staff we would need to contact the owner of the caravan to get the key as the park does not hold it, seemed silly the key was not left in the caravan. There was also only one key provided for the caravan, which was not helpful."

"Beautiful holiday park, scenery was lovely and very quiet.Travelling with two under 5s though I felt their age group was a bit under represented, apart from the nighttime entertainment and swimming there was not much for them to do on a dreary October week. As one fell under the minimum age for organised activities, did not try to pre-book until the wednesday morning, epic fail as it was all fully booked. To be fair to Hunters Quay, there was a power cut on our second day, the one dry day we had to fully explore on our stay. We went off on a hunt for the playpark to find three swings and nothing else, if I've missed something would love for someone to point it out. The jumping pillows and crazy golf were off due to power cut. The pirate ship was more aimed at older kids say 6 and above. We ended up in Dunoon at the soft play within council facilities down there, would highly recommend for younger kids and not expensive at all compared to some."

"We had a lovely weekend at Juniper Lodge with the kids. They really enjoyed the park and splashin around in the pool. Not all facilities were open because of Covid, but the weather was great for outdoor fun. The lodge itself was spotless and looked just like the photos. Definitely recommend!"
"We had a fantastic stay at this charming place! The location is truly private and peaceful, with stunning surroundings. The owners are super friendly and always happy to help if needed, but they respect your privacy completely. The hot tub was such a treat after a long day of cycling - absolutely loved it! A small thing to note, the cottage is directly under the flight path at Stansted, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. Luckily, we got used to it quickly and it didnt ruin our holiday at all. Definitely recommend!"

"The Lodge is a great size, the sofa was sagging and whole place could do with refreshing but still clean enough - I loved the secure verandah as it allowed the dog to enjoy sitting out. The views were stunning and hot tub was clean and checked daily and perfect for relaxing in of sn evening."
"We really enjoyed our stay here, its a great spot for both kids and adults to relax. The outdoor activities like forest walks and swimming kept everyone busy and you occasionally spot a deer wandering around-its quite charming! The bar, arcade, crazy golf and soft play area on the pirate ship were all hits with the kids. The staff are super friendly and helpful, which makes all the difference. Only downside was the beds-ours sank in the middle, not ideal if youve got a sore back. Still, overall, a lovely place to stay!"
"Great place to chill out just thay could do with upgrading there beds the one we had sunk in the middle wich isn't good if you have a sore back but over all great places for adults and kids plenty to do with swimming, molty gym(wich you have to pay for but is well quipped with machines) forrest walks,outdoor activities and sometimes you see the odd deer walking through the grounds,bar, amusement arcade, crasy golf and a piret ship soft play area. Friendly staff and shop, chip shop papa John pizza shop to."

"We had a pretty good stay overall. The kids loved it and are already asking to come back, so thats a win! The lodge was comfy, though we did notice a few cobwebs and a strange smell that we couldnt quite identify-thought it might be wet dog at first, but it wasnt too bad once you get used to it. The double bed was a bit snug with the kids wanting to sleep with us, but its only temporary. All in all, a decent trip!"

"We have been coming to Hunters Quay now for the past 6 years and will be booking again for July 2023! We always have a fantastic time there. Obviously because we have been coming for so long it would be lovely to see some further activities added to the Go Active but honestly the staff are so helpful, the Go Active instructors are just lovely our grandchildren did sand art, wall climbing and archery and the girls were just fantastic. We had booked the premier caravan this year and it was stunning. Look forward to seeing you all again next year!"

"We had such a lovely time at Hunters Quay Holiday Village. Would 100% recommend. Perfect for a short break with the family. There’s so much to do from swimming, outdoor play area, soft play, gym, evening entertainment. It brought us together. Everything there was reasonable priced and the restaurant put out good tasting food. The only downfall was the go active, there wasn’t much activities my children could do together due to their age groups ."

"Everything was great my kids loved it, apart from i have allergies to animals. They did clearly state they are a pet friendly resort so i have no issue its just i couldn't enjoy it as much due to my weazing, sneazing and itching. That is the only reason i would not go back however its a fantastic place and highly recommend."
