Drimsynie Holiday Village Reviews

"Overall, a pleasant experience. Maintenance was quick and courteous, though they needed two visits due to missing mirror and the vacuum being taken. Still, no worries!"
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"Great space, love the pool, really useful for relaxing times."
Emma - Sep 2024
"We stayed at the lodge and it was pretty handy being so near the town centre. The place was really roomy and kept tidy, though a bit old-fashioned. Having three showers and a bath was great for the family and the separate fridge and freezer were just what we needed. When we asked for a tin opener and some towels, they arrived quick as anything. Definitely good value for what we paid, especially since we skipped the hot tub!"
Mr. Harris - Jun 2024
"Lovely spot, very calm"
Emily Carter - May 2024
"Our Drimsynie Holiday Village review: We actually stayed in apartment 2, not 4 as the listing said, but honestly, it was fantastic. The place was spotless, really cosy and spacious enough for our family gathering. Loved the farmhouse vibe, especially the huge kitchen table that fit all 8 of us comfortably. Parking was no problem at all with plenty of space just outside the door for two cars per property. Our son loved the upstairs double room with the en-suite and lovely views of the loch. All in all, a top stay!"
Emma Roberts - Apr 2024
"Honestly, I wouldn't tell my friends to stay here. The lodge was really disappointing-dirty and falling apart. We found dead flies on the ceiling of the main bedroom and a horrible smell from the shower room because of mould all over the ceiling. We asked reception if someone could clear the flies, but nobody ever came during our whole stay, which made that room pretty much unusable. We booked a 3-bedroom lodge since thats what we needed, but cleanliness was just not up to scratch. The hot tub was another letdown-only a couple of jets actually worked and despite reporting it to reception and the hot tub guy, nothing changed. Overall, the place was just not clean enough and felt pretty neglected. Its a shame because we had high hopes, but it really didnt live up to expectations at all."
Emily - Nov 2023
"The lodge was lovely overall, though a bit worn out in places. Our tall family members found the beds a touch small and one bedrooms wallpaper was ripped. Still, excellent amenities like dishwasher and dryer!"
Emma - Nov 2023
"From the moment we arrived, we felt really welcomed. Devin and Kirsty at reception went out of their way to help us settle in; they were genuinely friendly and helpful. The caravan was spotless and had a stunning view that we couldnt get enough of. The swimming pool was a highlight-so relaxing and well-maintained. Hazel and her team were full of energy and always ready to assist, which made our stay even better. Our kids loved the activities we booked beforehand and Justin truly stood out as a star staff member-what a guy! We also appreciated the little shops selection and friendly staff. We had arranged a food delivery from Morrisons before arriving, which worked perfectly. The movie night was such a lovely touch, super chilled and fun for everyone. The location is simply perfect and the site itself was immaculate. Paige at the Rob Roy was a joy-so cheerful! We dined at The View and despite some mixed reviews online, we found the food and service spot on. Our daughter especially loved Joy-shes fantastic! Were already looking forward to next years holiday!"
Charlotte - Nov 2023
"From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel really welcome with their warm smiles and friendly attitude. My son had a bit of an accident and hit his head - honestly, the staffs first aid training was evident and they were so calming during a stressful time. The manager, Collette, was simply amazing - she even offered us a hot drink while we waited for the paramedics and gave my son a lollypop to cheer him up. Later, she kindly checked in on him and suggested some fun activities since he was quite brave. I didnt get a chance to thank her properly, especially since were deaf - her kindness truly meant a lot. The location is stunning - breathtaking views of the lake and mountains, so peaceful and beautiful, Scotland really does have some of the most scenic spots. Well definitely be back! Thanks to everyone for their kindness x"
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"The caravan had everything we needed and was quite comfy, but it was boiling hot! Had to turn the heating off. Lovely view, though, just a bit dirty."
Sarah - Nov 2023
"Great service and spotless environment"
Emma Clarke - Nov 2023
"Honestly, we loved the lodge. Some reviews made us a bit cautious, but honestly, theres nothing to complain about. Were pretty picky, but this place really impressed us."
Emma - Nov 2023
"The shower over the bath kept leaking and the paintwork in the downstairs shower room needed some touch-ups. We do love this lodge though!"
Emma - May 2023
"We had an amazing time here! The caravan itself was spotlessly clean, modern and surprisingly spacious - perfect for our little family. There are plenty of facilities to keep everyone entertained, which we loved. Next visit, well definitely plan ahead and book some activities early on since some were already full when we arrived, especially with a baby in tow. Were already thinking of returning in October with more of the family because we enjoyed it so much. The food was also really good, too!"
Emma - May 2023
"We had such a great time staying here! The view from the main bedroom was stunning, especially over the lake. Honestly, it made for one of the best birthdays Ive ever had. Highly recommend!"
Jessica - Aug 2020
"The caravan was really well-equipped and perfect for our trip. The twin beds suited the kids, but honestly, theyre a bit small for grown-ups!"
Emma - Aug 2020
"Well definitely return, really enjoyed the experience."
Emma - Aug 2020
"We had such a great time! Felt really secure throughout, especially with everything going on right now. Lovely holiday!"
Emma - Aug 2020
"The caravan was super comfy and we really liked our pick overall."
Sam - Aug 2020
"Great experience overall, definitely planning to come back soon!"
Mark - Aug 2020
"The place had loads of space, way more than we thought, really suited us."
Rachel - Jul 2020
"Overall, we found the caravan to be spotlessly clean, which was great. The early checkout at 9am was a bit of a pain, quite stressful really. Also, having to pay for WiFi when theres no entertainment was a bit disappointing. Some extras wouldve been nice."
Oliver - Jul 2020
"Really enjoyed the stay, golf course was lovely, staff were super friendly."
George - Jul 2020
"Lovely spot for family days out, loads to do and enjoy!"
Emma - Jul 2020
"We had an enjoyable weekend celebrating both milestones, the 40th anniversary and the 60th birthday."
Emma - Jul 2020
"We had a great 4-day stay, really enjoyed it."
George - Mar 2020
"We stayed at the lodge recently and found it to be quite clean and comfy, which was nice. The only real downer was that in one of the twin rooms, the water in the en-suite shower was pretty much cool, not hot at all, which was a bit annoying. Comparing it to other places we've been, we didn't think the price was great value, especially since gas, electricity and swimming cost extra. Still, overall, we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely return!"
Emma - Mar 2020
"Really pleased with the service, everyone was friendly and worked quickly. Will definitely come back!"
Emma Carter - Mar 2020
"We loved our stay here! The scenery is stunning and the family-run vibe makes it feel really special. Can't wait to come back soon!"
Emma - Feb 2020
"The lodge was clean and in a beautiful location. The staff where friendly and helpful. My young nephew really enjoyed the entertainment at night and it is the most dog friendly place I have ever been. So we all hope to come back soon!"
Reagan - Aug 2022
"Will definitely return was so much activities for my son to take part in. Surrounding views were stunning. Caravan was absolutely beautiful and spotless. Great time had by all. Had a weeks holiday and could definitely have stayed longer"
Margaret - Aug 2022
"Very friendly and informative staff all round. Beautiful surroundings, we had a hot tub and were not overlooked by anyone and the views were amazing. We complained about a dog barking constantly as he was left on his own after around 7pm till late on night. Within the hour a member of staff came to inform us this had been dealt with and thanked us for reporting it. Apart from the dog barking the remainder of the time the site was peaceful. Reported sound was not working on TV in the living area and this was replaced the next morning."
Val - Jul 2022
"The overall holiday experience was very good, the venue amazing and all the staff friendly. On our first evening we needed further information regarding our bungalow but reception was not open. This was a Saturday so I presume a lot of people had booked in that day, there were other people at the desk looking for staff at the same time as me (approx 7pm). I would suggest a later time for popular book in days or at least put a notice up so people know they have gone home."
Nikki - Jul 2022
"Loved every minute definitely go back !"
Catherine - Jul 2022
"After a few initial problems on site we had a wonderful time and would recommend the site to anybody. We were upgraded to the most beautiful lodge we have ever stopped in. Everything was there. Great time was gad by all."
Neil - Jul 2022
"Caravan was spotless Location was perfect Staff were so helpful and always smiling. Food at restaurant was outstanding as was the waitress. I have and will recommend this place to all my family and friends. Outstanding location"
Angela - Jul 2022
"Stunning place to visit, would be great if there was a cash machine for easiness, overall 10/10 stay. Will definitely be back!"
