Springwood Holiday Park Reviews

"The caravan was really lovely overall, though the ensuite bathroom felt a bit tight. The sofa wasnt very comfy in the middle seat, but we enjoyed our stay."
Emma - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay, the place was super comfy and felt like a proper home away from home."
James - Mar 2025
"We had a lovely stay! The place was spotless and set in such a pretty area. The kids loved the little on-site park and the facilities were top-notch-especially that powerful shower. Honestly, I didn't want to leave that comfy bed! Highly recommend."
Emma Carter - Dec 2024
"We received our order on Monday and hit the ground running. Used the bike the very next day around our local trails and by Wednesday, we managed a solid 62-mile ride - pretty impressive! Thursday was all about the van, as we drove to the Jim Clark motor museum in Duns, which was closed when we visited by bike the day before. Then we explored the coast near St. Abbs and Eyemouth, squeezing in more cycling. Luckily, the weather stayed on our side all week, even though we booked last minute based on the forecast."
Alex - Nov 2024
"Our Springwood Holiday Park review: Really enjoyed the peaceful vibe and stunning scenery here."
Emma - Nov 2024
"We had a brilliant stay! The lodge was super spacious and spotless. The hot tub was definitely a highlight-pure luxury. Loved that there was a washing machine too. Getting Asda delivered was a real bonus!"
Mark - Aug 2024
"We had a fantastic stay! The caravan was spotless and really well equipped, with everything we needed. The welcome pack with tea, coffee and essentials was a lovely touch. The balcony was perfect in the sunshine and our little one loved relaxing outside in the evenings. Great experience overall!"
Emma - Jul 2024
"We had a lovely holiday here! The staff genuinely went above and beyond, especially when our caravan wasnt what we initially booked. They quickly sorted out a better one that suited our needs, which was so appreciated. Overall, one of the friendliest sites weve stayed at, definitely worth recommending!"

Attractions Near Springwood Holiday Park

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Springwood Holiday Park. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Conundrum Farm - EX5 3AQ
about 21 Miles
With easy access from the A1 this lovely farm just north of Berwick makes a fantastic family day out.  Follow the farm trail and meet an array of friendly farm animals.  Kids will also enjoy the indoor and outdoor play areas, pet barn and tractor circuit.  The admission fee is excellent value and you will get a free bag of food for the animals and a bag of fish food for the trouts in the fish pond. When you want a bite to eat, the licensed restaurant is the place to go with quality home cooking and a charming location in some of the converted farm buildings.
Kailzie Gardens - EH45 9HT
about 27 Miles
Kailzie Gardens are another popular attraction and are an excellent place for a day out in the summertime. The gardens are a peaceful and colourful place to spend the day with a wide variety of flora and fauna on display. Other attractions here include live viewing of the Tweed Valley ospreys, a Gift Shop where children can pick up a souvenir, a Tearoom serving tasty local produce and home cooked meals, a Children's Corner, Putting Green, and a gorgeous private 2½ mile stretch on the River Tweed where visitors can enjoy Fly Fishing and a Picnic Area.
Kielder Water Bird of Prey Centre - NE48 1BT
about 28 Miles
Housing the most fascinating collection of Birds of Prey in the North East this centre is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the Kielder Water area. Located in Falstone it's easy to get to and makes a great day out for both families and couples.  As well as seeing the amazing birds you can learn all about the captive breeding programme and the excellent work being done there.  Some of the highlights of the day might include watching a Falcon stoop down from the skies at over 100mph and admiring the grace of the Eagles, Kites and Hawks.
Cragside House and Gardens - NE65 7PX
about 28 Miles
Cragside House and Gardens (National Trust) are a popular Northumberland attraction with a beautiful stately home and gorgeous grounds to explore. The rhododendron labyrinth is a unique and fun addition to the grounds and there is also an adventure playground where children can let of steam. It is the stunning scenery that attracts most of the visitors though with many bringing a picnic for a relaxing family day out. The house itself hosts exhibits which change regularly. World of the Water Wizard is currently on display.
Alnwick Castle and Gardens - NE66 1NQ
about 31 Miles
Alnwick Castle and Gardens today are perhaps best known for their roles as Hogwarts in Harry Potter movies but have for many years been a family favourite attraction in Northumberland. The beautiful medieval castle is open to the public and during school holidays and at Christmas and Halloween a range of activities can be enjoyed including Santa's Workshop, a Pumpkin Parade, Spell Making Lessons and Owl and Bird of Prey Flying.
Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB
about 39 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
