Warren Wood Country Park Reviews

"Lovely lodge. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Good balcony space and hot tub."
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"I do not think it was value for the money we paid. The bathroom had a terrible smell of the drains. There was no coffee table we had to use chairs. Things that had been broken or missing hadnt been replaced , an example being a knob on the bed in the master bedroom leaving a sharp edge. There was no utensil to remove fried eggs from the frying pan , we had to buy one. It left us a little disappointed and probably wouldnt return to warren wood."
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"I came back home feeling very refreshing.
I love the countryside and wish I could live in the countryside forever. Its my dream..

See you soon xxxx"
Helena - Aug 2020
"Fabulous lodge, lovely and clean. Wonderful hot tub, 2 fluffy bath robes provided and bath sheets. Very comfy beds and very quiet.
However, there was no WiFi and despite many phone calls we couldn't connect to it for the whole week.
And apart from the garden center next door, nothing is in walking distance."
Alexandra - Aug 2020
"Excellent stay , would definitely go again"
Smith - Aug 2020
"Only thing missing was a toilet roll holder and an airer to dry towels other than that it was excellent."
Christine - Aug 2020
"Cleaning has to be improve"
Ivannia - Aug 2020
"A lovely, clean lodge. The lodge was well equipped with everything you need for your stay and the bottle of Prosecco on arrival was a nice touch. The hot tub was also enjoyed by all and liked that the owners had designed this area with privacy screens."
Vanessa - Jul 2020
"Very enjoyable stay in a quiet and well maintained site. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and a great base for lovely walks in a beautiful area."
Kay - Jul 2020
"Cant recommend the lake view chalets enough. The view over the pond is so calming and peaceful. You dont look onto another cabin which is nice. Would highly recommend this park very peaceful and great place to get away for a few days"
Bernice - Jul 2020
"loved it but the patio doors needed a stoper on as they blew open and closed, there was also I light outside that kept banging the doors. And the kitchen door opened the wrong way into the kitchen and this was annoying when someone is stood by fridge. But it was very clean and modern and had everything we needed for a great relaxed weekend"
Lisa - Jul 2020
"Nice clean modern lodge."
Mark - Jul 2020
"I would thoroughly recommend Warren Wood."
Marnie - Jul 2020
"Little expensive considering we had no hot tub"
Natalie - Jul 2020

Paul - Jul 2020
"Better than my house, which is a bit sad"
Daniel - Jul 2020
"The lodge was very luxurious, great decor and great lighting. Good powerful shower and a well equipped kitchen. Lodge was very clean on arrival and a nice touch was the complimentary bottle of Prosecco which was ideal as we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We will definitely return."
Linda - Jul 2020
"This was a much needed break for both me and my partner, upon arrival we entered our amazing lodge to be greeted with lovely touches including a bottle of bubbly, dressing gowns and slippers! The lodge was spotless clean and we couldn't fault a thing! We had an amazing time and were gutted to leave, will definitely be returning in the future!"
Ellie - Jul 2020
"We had a very relaxing stay. The standard of facilities made it perfect!"
Verified Guest - Mar 2020
"Perfect. There was nothing that the park could have done to make our stay any better. Thoroughly recommended to couples or - as we are - families alike."
Simon - Feb 2020
"Stayed during the storm weekend, it was great and we were still able to use the hot tub!

Arrived on Valentines Day and it was lovely surprise to see table made up pretty with heart chocolates and small bottle of prosecco!"
Arlene - Feb 2020
"Perfect place for a peaceful week away. Didn't see much staff but everything worked perfectly. Only issue was a few bits of broken equipment which should have been picked up on turnaround. Accommodation homely, spacious and furnished to a great standard. Beds comfortable. Hot tub icing on the cake. Plenty of parking and a frequent bus stops right outside. Thank you for a great stay."
Paul - Jan 2020
"We really enjoyed our stay! Extra touches of chocolates, Prosecco and Christmas tree were a really nice touch x"
Anna-marie - Dec 2019
"Loved the location but the lodge lacks a few things for me"
Gill - Dec 2019
"Amazing, relaxing, chilled"
Ellie - Dec 2019
"Well be back again"
Matthew - Nov 2019
"Fantastic lodge with wonderful view. Only points that could have improved was a small coffee table near sofas."
Maria - Nov 2019
"Stunning lodge, everything was clean and tidy on arrival, staff member showed us to our lodge explained everything to us and how the hot tub worked. Nice touch with the tea, coffee, sugar, milk and little bottle of Prosecco. Beautifully decorated and set out well. Would highly recommend."
Melinda - Nov 2019
"We both loved the lodge so warm and welcoming, beautiful & great facilities.

If I had to mention improvements
the fence separating the road to back of lodge 24 was more covered so no one can see in that be great.

Freezer had crumbs in it from previous people that stayed.

Some of the pans, oven trays and plates felt really greasy so we had to wash those before using them.

And there was only 1 half pint glass in cupboard but there was loads of plastic wine glasses.

May want to put salts in the dishwasher as well.

Otherthan those things overall we really enjoyed our stay."
Ryan - Nov 2019
"Loved it here esp the hot tub!"
Naomi - Nov 2019
"Amazing log cabin over looking the lake. Hot tub was fantastic, fully stocked kitchen and a hair dryer included, we brought our own but didn’t need to!! Two bathrooms with a free standing bath in the one was just a lovely touch. Although we did not speak to any staff during our stay, the staff on the phone prior to our stay were really helpful and informative. Would definitely come back, had a wonderful staycation! 10/10."
Gemma - Aug 2022
"Just booked again for warren wood had a fantastic time the lodge was pure luxury with beautiful surroundings ideal location for towns and beaches wood definitely recommend"
Kay - Aug 2022
"Excellent quiet retreat. Location good for visiting other areas of interest. A little in the quiet side but that is not a complaint."
Terry - Jul 2022
"Excellent location to see the surrounding area and the lodge was comfortable and clean"
Carolyn - Jul 2022
"The resort is ideal if you want toget away and have some relaxing time.. We loved it... We were a bit dubious due to all the red writing in the to do and lots of not to do list.. but i think this was due to previous guests being too rowdy at this tranquil location. It is quiet, but you are only 15 minutes away from the sea front, 5 minutes from shops and 2 mins from nearest pub. Had a great time."
Pauline - Jul 2022
"Lovely place to stay, for a nice relaxing break. Lodges were very clean and spacious. Only comment would be the geese making a mess on the patio area."
Jacqueline - Jul 2022
"Very enjoyable short break. Highly recommended."
Vasiliki - Jun 2022
"Very quite and peaceful Would not suggest using the taxi that is recommended as went 2 miles down the road and they charged £15 but we got a different taxi back and it was £5"
