Blue Hills Holiday Park Reviews

"Really loved the furniture, both inside and outside, it totally matched the Safari Tent vibe. The kitchen was well stocked and small touches like towels and washing up liquid made all the difference. Will definitely return!"
Emma - Sep 2024
"We loved the spot here! The panoramic tent was just fab and the location is perfect. The staff were really helpful throughout our stay. The cove nearby is a lovely walk down the hill, definitely worth it, plus the old tin mine ruins are a must-see!"
Jamie - Sep 2024
"We recently stayed in the Panorama Dome at Blue Hills Touring Park and honestly, it was such a great experience! The place itself is really spacious and well-equipped - perfect for a comfortable stay. The en-suite bathroom surprised us with its size; we didnt expect it to be that roomy. When we arrived, the beds were already made up, which was a nice touch and everything was spotless. One of our favourite bits was the covered outdoor area at the top of the steps - its got some comfy furniture, ideal for relaxing outside. Down below, theres a decked area with the BBQ, picnic table and hot tub, all undercover. The hot tub had been drained, refilled and heated up beforehand, so it was super easy to get into after our long walks. Speaking of walks, we loved exploring straight from the site - there are some cracking routes along the South West Coast Path, taking us to St. Agnes, Perranporth (where we grabbed some top-notch kebabs for the BBQ from the local butchers) and Porthtowan - all with stunning views. The nearby village of St. Agnes is charming, with shops, pubs, cafes, museums and even the Driftwood Spar brewery. We only used the car once to visit Truro - the Park and Ride was a breeze and we booked our tickets online beforehand. All in all, we had a fantastic week and cant wait to come back!"
Alex - Jul 2024
"The Safari 5 was really tidy and comfy, with plenty of space. The hot tub was fantastic! We loved it."
Emma - Jul 2024
"Our Blue Hills Holiday Park review: Really enjoyed safari 5, but it could use more hooks."
Alex - May 2024
"Really enjoyed the place, would come again!"
Oliver - Jul 2023
"We loved this cosy little cottage! Perfectly tucked away for peace, yet close enough to everything we needed. The hot tub was a highlight and the underfloor heating kept us super warm. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel really welcome. Cant wait to return soon!"
Alex - May 2025
"We loved this charming little cottage, especially the cosy log burner and relaxing hot tub. The hosts were lovely and super helpful too! Hope to come back soon!"
Olivia - May 2025
"We had a fantastic stay! The house was super well-equipped and kept us cosy on that rainy December day. The bath was perfect for relaxing and the shower was spacious. Being near a flight path didnt bother us at all, so dont worry about that. Its in a quiet spot, ideal for dogs scared of fireworks. Really lovely place, thank you so much!"
Ella - May 2025
"We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The owners are genuinely friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcome. The place itself is beautifully kept, super clean and really cosy, with a solid shower and comfy bed which we appreciated after long walks. Parking right outside was a real bonus. We enjoyed wandering the fields to Thaxted and exploring the nearby villages pretty half-timbered houses and windmill. Definitely recommend!"
Oliver - May 2025
"We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead. The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right outside were perfect for a peaceful day out. The owners made us feel so welcome. Lovely place!"
Emma - May 2025
"We stayed at Goddard's Mead recently and honestly, it was lovely. Rob and Sharon put so much effort into sympathetically restoring this historic building and it really shows. Their warm welcome made us feel right at home, along with Bonnies friendly fuss. The location is perfect for exploring Essex, especially if you enjoy wandering through Thaxted and nearby villages. Its a peaceful spot with lots of charm. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break!"
Emily Harper - May 2025
"We had a fantastic stay at this lovely retreat! The location is really peaceful and private, perfect for unwinding. The owners are super friendly and keep a good balance of being available without intruding. The hot tub was a real treat after our cycling adventures - total relaxation. Just a heads up, the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much after a while, but if youre sensitive, its worth knowing. Overall, a great place to escape to!"
Samira - May 2025
"We had a fantastic stay! The cottage was spotless, well-stocked and had some lovely little touches. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!"

"We really enjoyed our weekend stay here. The place was lovely and were definitely planning to return soon!"
Emma - May 2025
"The owners were genuinely lovely and super helpful, especially when the storm knocked out the power-nothing was too much trouble. The place was spotless, cosy and our dog loved the secure garden. The hot tub was a hit too!"

Emma - May 2025
"We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is cosy and peaceful, perfect if you dont mind the occasional night-time plane noise from Stanstead nearby. The hot tub was a real highlight!"
Emma - May 2025
"We had such a lovely stay at this cosy little cottage! It really is fully stocked with everything you might need, so we didn't have to bring much at all. The welcome pack was a nice touch, full of helpful info and menus - clearly thought through. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs and they loved running around freely. The hot tub was a definite highlight, especially after long walks. Sharon and Robe were quick to respond whenever we had questions. Thanks for a great getaway, well definitely be back!"
