"We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners are super friendly and helpful, but theyre not intrusive at all, which we appreciated. The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we needed, including a great BBQ for one evening. And that hot tub? Absolutely brilliant! Were already planning to come back and have told our friends about it. Thanks for a lovely break!"

"We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage, nestled on a busy farm but surprisingly private. Robert and Sharon are such warm and welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home. The place is super spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave. The garden is perfect for dogs, totally secluded and furnished nicely. Plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed dining out in Thaxted-The Star and The Maypole are real gems. Would definitely recommend!"

The bath is fantastic and the showers big enough for a proper rinse. Being near a flight path didnt bother us at all - dont let that put you off. The locations great too - totally quiet, so perfect for dogs scared of fireworks. The house is beautifully converted and really feels special. The only thing to note is the flight path noise, but it didnt bother us at all. Thanks a lot!"

The clever design made it feel much bigger than it looked from the outside and theres plenty of storage which was handy. The hot tub was such a nice touch of luxury! Communication with the host was spot on too. Definitely recommend for a relaxing stay!"

"The lodge was lovely and super peaceful, perfect for a quiet getaway. It was very clean and well looked after, which we appreciated. However, only one toilet roll was provided for two toilets in a 6-bed lodge, so it wouldve been good to know beforehand to bring some extra. Hot tub access was a bit hit or miss, but overall, we enjoyed our stay!"

"We had a lovely stay at this cosy spot, tucked away in a really peaceful and private setting. The owners were genuinely friendly and always willing to help if needed, but it still felt secluded. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling! One thing to mention - the cottage is directly under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It only took us a couple of hours to get used to it and honestly, it didnt ruin our trip at all. Definitely worth considering if noise bothers you, though."
